< Matthew 20 >

1 For the gospel-kingdom is like the master of a family, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard:
Sorgo rajyo to ekjon mati malik nisena ase, jun phojurte bahar ulaikene tai laga kheti nimite manu bisari bole jaise.
2 and agreeing with the men for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard:
Jitia tai kaam kora manu khan logote ek dinte ek denarius pora kotha milai loi, tai kaam kora manu khan ke kheti te pathaise.
3 and going out about the third hour he saw others standing in the market-place doing nothing,
Aru tai nou baji nisena te bahar te jaise, aru dusra hajira kora manu khan eku kaam napai kene ene khara thaka dikhise.
4 and said to them, Go ye also into the vineyard, and what is reasonable I will give you: so they went.
Aru taikhan ke koise, ‘Tumikhan bhi angur bagan te jabi, aru ki thik ase ami tumikhan ke dibo.’
5 And going out again about the sixth and ninth hour he did in like manner.
Aru taikhan jaise. Arubi tai baroh baji nisena te bahar te jaise aru eneka he korise.
6 And going out about the eleventh hour, he found others standing without work, and saith to them, Why stand ye here all the day doing nothing?
Aru tin baji nisena te tai bahar te jaise, aru dusra khan ke ene khara thaka dikhise, aru taikhan ke koise, ‘Tumikhan pura din kele yate ene khara ase?’
7 They say unto him, because no one hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatever is reasonable ye shall receive.
Taikhan taike koise, ‘Kilekoile kun manu bhi amikhan ke hajira te luwa nai.’ Taike koise, ‘Tumikhan bhi angur bagan te jabi.’
8 Now when evening was come, the owner of the vineyard saith to his steward, Call the work-men and pay them their hire, beginning from the last even to the first.
Eneka para jitia saam hoise, angur bagan laga malik pora imandar ke koise, ‘Hajira kora khan ke mati bhi, aru taikhan laga hajira dibi, pichete aha pora prothom ula tak.’
9 And when those came who were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every one a penny:
Aru jitia taikhan ahise jun khan ke pans baji nisena te hajira te rakhise, taikhan ke ekta poisa dise.
10 but when the first came, they thought that they should receive more; and they also received every one a penny.
Hoile sobse poila ahikena kaam kora khan bhabise taikhan bisi pabo; kintu taikhan bhi ek taka he paise.
11 And after they had received it they murmured against the master of the house,
Aru taikhan ghor laga malik ke biya paikena kiba kibi kobole lagise.
12 saying, These last have worked but one hour, and thou hast made them equal to us, who have borne the burthen and heat of the day.
Koise, ‘eitu khan pichete ahikena ek-ghanta he kaam korise, hoile bhi apuni taikhan ke bhi amikhan nisena he korise, jun khan sob kaam korise aru din laga gorom loise.’
13 But he answered, and said to one of them, Friend, I do thee no wrong; didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
Hoile bhi tai taikhan bhitor te ekjon ke jowab dise, aru koise, ‘Sathi, Ami tumikhan ke eku bhi golti kora nai: tumi ami logote ek poisa te monjur hoise nohoi?
14 Take what is thine, and be gone: it is my pleasure to give to this last as I do to thee;
Tumi laga ki ase lobi, aru nijor rasta jabi: Ami piche aha khan ke bhi iman he dibo, jiman tumikhan ke dibo.
15 and may I not do what I will with my own?
Na ami laga ki ase etu pora ami khushi koribo na paribo naki? Na tumi suku juli ase, kele koile ami bhal ase?’
16 Is thine eye evil because I am good? Thus the last shall be first, and the first last; for there are many called, but few chosen.
Eneka pora piche khan poila hobo, aru poila piche hobo: kele koile bisi ke matise, hoile bhi olop ke he bisarise.”
17 And as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, He took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them, Behold we are going up to Jerusalem,
Aru Jisu Jerusalem te jai thaka homoi te rasta te Tai laga baroh ta chela khan ke alag pora loise aru taikhan ke koise,
18 and the son of man shall be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they shall condemn Him to death,
“Sabi, Amikhan Jerusalem te jai ase: aru Manu laga Putro ke mukhyo purohit khan laga hathte aru niyom likha khan laga hathte di dibo. Aru taikhan Taike mora bole laga faisla hunai dibo,
19 and deliver Him up to the gentiles, to insult, and to scourge, and to crucify Him. But on the third day He shall rise again.
aru Taike sorom dikena mora bole, aru Cross te mari dibole nimite Porjati khan laga hathte di dibo: aru tisra dinte Tai aru bhi jee uthibo.”
20 Then the mother of Zebedee's sons came to Him, together with her two sons, falling down before Him, and presenting a petition to Him.
Etu pichete, Zebedee laga maiki aru tai duijon laga chokra khan Jisu usorte ahise, aru matha niche kori kene Jisu ke ekta kiba mangibole ahise.
21 And He said unto her, What dost thou desire? She saith unto Him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on the left in thy kingdom.
Aru Tai koise, “Apuni ki mangi ase?” Tai taike koise, “Monjur hobi Apuni laga desh te ami laga etu duita chokra, ekjon Apuni laga dyna phale, aru ekjon Apuni laga baya phale bohibo dibi.”
22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask: are ye able to drink of the cup which I am going to drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
Hoile bhi Jisu jowab dise aru chokra duijon ke eneka hudise, “Tumikhan nabuje tumikhan ki mangi ase. Tumikhan utu kup pora khabole paribo juntu pora Ami khabole ase, aru eneka baptizma lobole paribo jineka baptizma pora ami baptizma lobole ase?” Taikhan taike koise, “Amikhan paribo.”
23 They replied, We are able. And He saith unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of my cup, and shall be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with; but to sit on my right hand and on my left is not mine to give, but to those for whom it is prepared by my Father.
Aru Tai taikhan ke koise, “Jineka hoile bhi tumikhan Ami laga kup pora khabole ase, aru eneka baptizma lobole ase jineka baptizma pora Ami baptizma lobole ase: hoile bhi Ami laga dyna aru baya phale bohi bole to Ami dibole laga nohoi, hoile bhi etu taikhan ke dibole ase jun khan nimite Ami laga Pormeshwar Baba pora jaga bonai kene rakhise.”
24 And when the other ten heard it, they were provoked at the two brethren:
Aru jitia dos jon chela khan pora etu hunise, taikhan etu duita bhai uporte nije ke dangor banabole kosis kora nimite bisi biya paise.
25 but Jesus called them to Him and said, Ye know that the princes of the gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority upon them:
Hoile bhi Jisu taikhan ke tai usorte matise, aru koise, “Tumikhan jani ase Porjati laga rajakhan taikhan uporte takot cholai thakise, aru taikhan jun khan dangor ase taikhan dusra khan uporte takot cholai thakise.
26 it shall not be so among you; but whosoever would be great among you, let him be your minister, and whoever would be chief among you,
Hoilebi tumikhan bhitor te eneka hobole nohoi: hoilebi jun bhi tumikhan bhitor te dangor hobole mon ase, taike tumikhan laga nokor hobole dibi.
27 let him be your servant:
Aru tumikhan bhitor te jun pora sobse age hobole mon ase, taike tumikhan laga nokor hobole dibi.
28 as the Son of man came not to be ministred unto, but to minister and to give his life a ransom for many.
Thik jineka Manu laga Putro sewa lobole aha nohoi, hoile bhi sewa kori bole ahise, aru bisi nimite tai laga jibon ke daan dibole ahise.”
29 And as they were going from Jericho, a great multitude followed Him:
Aru taikhan jitia Jericho sheher pora ulaise, ekta dangor bhir Tai piche korise.
30 and behold, two blind men siting by the way-side, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.
Aru, rasta kinar te bohi kene thaka duita andha manu, jitia taikhan hunise Jisu ta te pora jai ase, hala kori bole lagise, koise, “Probhu, David laga Putro, amikhan uporte daya koribi.”
31 And the people rebuked them, that they might hold their peace: but they cried out the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David.
Aru bisi manu khan taikhan ke gali kori bole lagise chup thakibi koi kene, kintu taikhan aru bhi bisi jor pora hala kori bole lagise, koise, “Amikhan uporte morom koribi, Oh Probhu, David laga Putro.”
32 And Jesus stopt and called them, and said, What do ye desire me to do for you?
Aru Jisu thik ta te rukhise, aru taikhan ke matise, aru koise, “Tumikhan ki lagi ase juntu ami tumikhan nimite kori bole paribo?”
33 They answered Him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.
Taikhan Taike koise, “Probhu, amikhan laga suku khuli dibi.”
34 And Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes; and straightway their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.
Etu nimite Jisu taikhan uporte morom lagise, aru taikhan laga sukukhan chuise: aru ekbar te taikhan laga suku pora dikhi bole paise, aru taikhan Tai laga piche korise.
