< Mark 5 >
1 And they came to the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
Babezi kwishilya limwi lyewate, kuchilalo cha Gerasenese.
2 And when He was come out of the ship, immediately there met Him from the tombs,
Mi hahobulyo Jesu hazuka muchikepe, mukwame wina luhuho lusajololi abezi kwali kukazwa kumakumbu.
3 a man with an impure spirit, who kept among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains:
Mukwame abali kuhala mumakumbu. Kakwina ni uumwina yabakuti chowola kumukanisa, mane nangati ni ncheini.
4 for he had often been bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been pulled asunder by him, and the fetters broken; and no man could tame him:
Chaba suminwe inako ingi ingi ni nkwele ni ncheini. Abali kupusoola hakati incheini ni nkwele zakwe zibapusoolwa. Kakwina ni umwina yabena ziho zokumu zuunda.
5 and he was always night and day upon the hills and among the sepulchres bawling, and gashing himself with stones.
Masiku ni masiku ni musihali mumakumbu ni mumalundu, abali kubokolola ni kulifundola chamabwe makali.
6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped Him,
Habona Jesu kulezana, natilila kwali ni kukafukama habusu bwakwe.
7 and crying out with a loud voice said, Jesus thou Son of the most high God, what have I to do with thee? I adjure thee by God, that thou wouldst not torment me:
Chabokolola chamuhuwo mukando, “Chinzi chiniswanela kuchita nawe, Jesu, Mwana wa Ireeza waKwiwulu? Nikukumbila cha Ireeza iye mwine, kanji unisukululi.”
8 (for He said to him, Thou impure spirit, come out of the man.)
Mukuti abali kuwamba kwali, “Zwe mumukwame, iwe luhuho lusajololi.”
9 And He asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
Mi namubuza, “Nguweni izina lyako?” Mi namwitaba, “Izina lyangu nji Mpi, mukuti tubangi.”
10 And he earnestly intreated Him, that He would not send them out of that country.
Namukumbila chakubolelabolela kusaatumina kunze ye chilalo.
11 Now there was a great herd of swine feeding upon the mountains:
Haho mulaka mukando wezigulube ubena ho ni ufula hachiwulu,
12 and all the demons intreated Him, saying, Send us to the swine, that we may enter into them.
mi niyamukumbila, niiti, “Tutumine muzingulube; twinjile muzili.”
13 And immediately Jesus permitted them: and the impure spirits went out of the man, and entered into the swine; and the herd (which were about two thousand, ) ran violently down a precipice into the sea, and were suffocated.
Chobulyo chazizuminina; inhuho zisajolwele nizazwa ni kwinjila muzingulube, ni zashetumuka chakuhwelela hansi yachiwulu mwiwate, mi zibali kusaka kulikana impalo ya zikiti zobele ziguluve zibamini mwiwate.
14 And they that were feeding the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what was done:
Mi abo babali kulisika zingulube nibatiya ni kukabiha chibatendahali mumuleneñi ni kumbali yenkanda. Imi bantu bangi nibayenda hanze kukabona zibachitahali.
15 and they come to Jesus, and see the demoniac, who had been possessed by the legion, sitting and clothed, and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
Linu nibeza kwa Jesu mi nibaabona mukwame yowina madimona—yabena iMpi—nekele hansi, nazwete, imi mumaano sakata akwe, mi babalikalilwe.
16 And when those that saw it told them what had happened to the demoniac,
Bana bababoni chibachitahali kumukwame yokwetwe madimona nibaba wambila chiba chitahali kwali mane ni kuamana ni zingulube.
17 and concerning the swine, they intreated Him to depart from their borders.
Mi chibatanga kumukumbila kusiya chilalo chabo.
18 And as He went into the ship, the demoniac intreated Him that he might be with Him:
Mi habali kwinjila mukepe, mukwame wamadimona na mukumbila kuti ayende naye.
19 but Jesus did not permit him; but saith to him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee:
Kono kana aba muzuminini, kono nacho kwali, “Yende kunzubo yanko ni kubantu bako, nikukaba wambila Ireeza chaba kupangili, ni chisemonzi chaba kuhi.”
20 and he departed, and published in Decapolis, how great things Jesus had done for him, and they were all amazed.
Linu nayenda ni kukatanga kwi zibahaza zintu zikando Jesu zabamuchitili mwa Dekapolisi, mi bonse baba makali.
21 And when Jesus passed over again in the ship to the other side, a great multitude was gathered unto Him, nigh unto the sea.
Mi Jesu hachalutila mwishilwa hape kuimwimbali yewate, muchisepe, chisi chikando nichakungana kumuzimbuluka, mukuti abena kumbali lyewate.
22 And behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, named Jairus; and as soon as he saw Him, he fell at his feet,
Mi zumwi kubayendisi besinangonge, wezina lya Jailusi, nakeza, mi hamubona, nawila hamantende akwe.
23 and earnestly intreated Him, saying, My little daughter is at the point of death, I beseech thee that thou wouldst come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live.
Namukumbila chakubolela bolela, nati, “Mwanangu munini wamukazana chiwina hafuhi ni lufu. Nikukumbila, wize ubike mayanza ako hali kuti apangwe siinte ni kuhala.”
24 So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him, and pressed about Him.
Linu nayenda naye, ni chisi chikando nichamwichilila ni kumukakatiize kumuzimbuluka.
25 And a woman who had been in a flux twelve years,
Lyahanu kubena mwanakazi wamalaha abazwizi zilimo zina ikumi ni zobele.
26 and had suffered a great deal from many physicians, and spent all that she had, and received no benefit, but rather grew worse,
Abasukuluki chabukando mumpabalelo yeñanga zingi mi abalitusisi zonse zabakwete, kono kunde yakuba butuka naya kunsi.
27 when she heard of Jesus, came behind Him in the croud, and touched his garment; for she said,
Chabazuwile indaba kuamana ni Jesu. Linu nakeza mumasule akwe habali kwabuyenda muchisi, ni chakwata chizabalo chakwe.
28 If I can but touch his clothes, I shall be cured.
Chobulyo nati, “Heba ninikwata bulyo zizwato zakwe, munihozwe.”
29 And immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt within herself that she was healed of the disorder.
Hachamuwonda, kuzwiza ni kwazimana, mi nalizuwa mumubili wakwe kuti chahozwa kumalwalila akwe.
30 And immediately Jesus, knowing in Himself that power was gone out of Him, turned about in the croud and said, Who touched my clothes?
Mi hahobulyo Jesu nalemuha mwalimwine kuti ziho chizazwa kwali. Mi nasandukila mubuungi bwa chisi ni kubuza, “Njeni wawonda zizwato zangu?”
31 And his disciples said unto Him, Thou seest the multitude crouding about thee, and dost thou ask, Who touched me?
Barutwana bakwe chibacho kwali, “Ubwene ichi chisi chikukakatize kukuzimbuluka, mi uwamba, “Njeni waniwonda?”
32 and He looked round about to see who had done it.
Kono Jesu nalolalola kubona yabapangi bulyo.
33 But the woman being afraid and trembling, as knowing what had been done in her, came and prostrated herself to Him, and told Him all the truth:
Mwanakazi, chokwiziba chiba pangahali kwali, nalikalilwa niku chachalika. Abakezi ni kuwila habusu bwakwe ni kumuwambila buhote bonse.
34 and He said to her, Daughter, thy faith has saved thee; go in peace, and be healed of thy disorder.
Nawamba kwali, “Mwanangu wechikazana, intumelo yako yakushiyamisa, Yende chenkozo mi uholele kuchilwalo chako.”
35 While He was yet speaking, there came some from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying, Thy daughter is dead, why dost thou trouble the Master any more?
Habali kusiwamba, bamwi bantu nibeza kuzwa kumuyendisi we sinangonge, nibacho, “Mwanako wechikazana chafwa. Chinzi kuzwila habusu kukataza muruti?”
36 But Jesus hearing the word that was spoken, immediately saith to the ruler of the synagogue, Fear not, only believe:
Mi linu Jesu chakuzuwa zibaba wambi, nati kumuyendisi we sinagoge, “Kanji utiyi. Zumine bulyo.”
37 and He suffered none to go along with Him, but Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
Kana abazuminini nanga zuhi kumusindikiza, kunde aPitorosi, Jakobo, ni Johani, mwanche wa Jakobo.
38 And He cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth a tumult, people weeping and lamenting greatly:
Babakezi kunzuvo yomuyendisi we sinagoge mi nabona ko bantuvangi nibachita ilata lingi lingi; babali kusilisa ni kubokolola chakutumusa.
39 and when He was come in, He saith unto them, Why do ye take on thus and weep? the child is not dead, but asleep.
Henjila munzubo, nati kubali, “Chinzi hamunyeletwe imi chinzi hamusilisa? Muhwile kafwile kono ulele,”
40 And they laughed at Him: but when He had turned them all out, He taketh the father, and the mother of the child, and those three that were with Him, and goes in where the child was laid:
Nibamuseka. Kono nabazwisikiza hanze bonse niku hinda besi wamuhwile ni banyina ni babena naye, mi nenjila mwabena muhwile.
41 and taking hold of her hand, He saith unto her, Talitha, cumi, which is, being interpreted, Damsel, (I say unto thee) arise:
Nichahinda iyanza lyamuhwile ni kuti kwali, “Talita koum,” ili ita kuti, “Muhwile wamukazana, niti kwako, zime.”
42 and immediately the damsel rose up and walked; for she was twelve years old; and they were struck with great astonishment.
Hahobulyo muhwile chazima ni kuyenda (kakuti abena zilimo zina ikumi ni zobele kuchipepo). Mibabamakali ni kuhita.
43 And He strictly charged them, that no one should know it: and bid them give her something to eat.
Chenkalimelo nabalaela kuti kakwina nanga umwina yoswanela kwiziba kuamana ni chatendahala. Mi naba wambila kumuha chakulya.
