Luke 24
1 And on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared; (and some others with them: ) and found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre:
১সপ্তাহের প্রথম দিন তারা খুব ভোরে উঠে ঐ কবরের কাছে এলেন, যে সুগন্ধি দ্রব্য প্রস্তুত করেছিলেন তা নিয়ে আসলেন;
2 so they went in,
২আর দেখলেন, কবর থেকে পাথরটা সরানো রয়েছে,
3 but found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
৩কিন্তু ভিতরে গিয়ে প্রভু যীশুর মৃতদেহ দেখতে পেলেন না।
4 And while they were in perplexity about it, behold, two men stood by them in shining robes.
৪তারা এই বিষয়ে ভাবছেন, এমন দিনের, দেখ, উজ্জ্বল পোষাক পরা দুজন পুরুষ তাদের কাছে দাঁড়ালেন।
5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the ground, the men said unto them, Why do ye seek the living among the dead?
৫তখন তারা ভয় পেয়ে মাটির দিকে মুখ নীচু করলে সেই দুই ব্যক্তি তাদের বললেন, মৃতদের মধ্যে জীবিতের খোঁজ করছ কেন?
6 He is not here, He is risen: remember how He spake to you, when He was yet in Galilee,
৬তিনি এখানে নেই, কিন্তু উঠেছেন। গালীলে থাকতে তিনি তোমাদের যা বলেছিলেন, তা মনে কর;
7 saying, the Son of man must be delivered into the hands of wicked men, and be crucified; and the third day rise again.
৭তিনি তো বলেছিলেন, মনুষ্যপুত্রকে পাপী মানুষদের হাতে সমর্পিত হতে হবে, ক্রুশারোপিত হতে এবং তৃতীয় দিনের উঠতে হবে।
8 And they remembered his words,
৮তখন তাঁর সেই কথা গুলি তাদের মনে পড়ল;
9 and returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things to the eleven apostles, and to all the rest.
৯আর তারা কবর থেকে ফিরে গিয়ে সেই এগারো জন শিষ্যকে ও অন্য সবাইকে এই সব খবর দিলেন।
10 Now it was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, that told these things to the apostles:
১০এরা মগ্দলীনী মরিয়ম, যোহানা ও যাকোবের মা মরিয়ম; আর এদের সঙ্গে অন্য স্ত্রীলোকরাও প্রেরিতদের এই সব কথা বললেন।
11 and their words appeared to them as an idle tale, and they did not believe them.
১১কিন্তু এই সব কথা তাদের দৃষ্টিতে গল্পের মত মনে হল; তারা তাদের কথায় বিশ্বাস করলেন না।
12 But Peter arose and ran to the sepulchre; and stooping down he saw the linen cloths lying by themselves: and he went away, wondering in himself at what had happened.
১২তা সত্বেও পিতর উঠে গিয়ে কবরের কাছে দৌড়ে গেলেন এবং নীচু হয়ে ভালো করে দেখলেন, শুধু কাপড় পরে রয়েছে; আর যা ঘটেছে, তাতে অবাক হয়ে নিজের জায়গায় ফিরে গেলেন।
13 And behold two of them were going that day to a village about threescore furlongs from Jerusalem, called Emmaus.
১৩আর দেখ, সেই দিন তাদের দুজন যিরুশালেম থেকে সাত মাইল দূরে ইম্মায়ূ নামে গ্রামে যাচ্ছিলেন,
14 And they were conversing together about all these things which had happened.
১৪এবং তারা ঐ সব ঘটনার বিষয়ে একে অপরে কথাবার্তা বলছিলেন।
15 And while they were discoursing and reasoning together, Jesus himself drew near and went along with them.
১৫তারা কথাবার্তা ও একে অপরে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করছেন, এমন দিনের যীশু নিজে এসে তাদের সঙ্গে সঙ্গে যেতে লাগলেন;
16 But their eyes were so restrained that they did not know Him.
১৬কিন্তু তাদের চোখ বন্ধ হয়েছিল, তাই তাঁকে চিনতে পারলেন না।
17 And He said unto them, What subjects are these, which ye are discoursing of to one another as ye walk, and why are ye sorrowful?
১৭তিনি তাদের বললেন, তোমরা চলতে চলতে একে অপরে যে সব কথা বলাবলি করছ, সে সব কি? তারা বিষন্ন ভাবে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকলেন।
18 And one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answered and said to Him, Art thou only a sojourner at Jerusalem, and hast not heard of the things which have been done there within these few days?
১৮পরে ক্লিয়পা নামে তাদের একজন উত্তর করে তাঁকে বললেন, আপনি কি একা যিরুশালেমে বাস করছেন, আর এই কয়েক দিনের মধ্যে সেখানে যেসব ঘটনা ঘটেছে, তা জানেন না?
19 And He said unto them, What things? And they replied, Those concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet powerful both in work and word before God and all the people:
১৯তিনি তাদেরকে বললেন, কি কি ঘটনা? তারা তাঁকে বললেন, নাসরতীয় যীশুর বিষয়ে ঘটনা, যিনি ঈশ্বরের ও সব লোকের সামনে ও কাজে ও কথায় মহান ভাববাদী ছিলেন;
20 how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him.
২০আর কীভাবে প্রধান যাজকেরা ও আমাদের শাসকেরা প্রাণদণ্ডের জন্য দোষী করে তাকে সমর্পণ করলেন, ও ক্রুশে দিলেন।
21 But we hoped that it was He that would have delivered Israel: and besides all this, to-day is the third day since these things were done.
২১কিন্তু আমরা আশা করছিলাম যে, তিনি সেই ব্যক্তি, যিনি ইস্রায়েলকে মুক্ত করবেন। আর এসব ছাড়া আজ তিনদিন হচ্ছে, এসব ঘটেছে।
22 And indeed some women of our company much surprised us: who having been early at the sepulchre,
২২আবার আমাদের কয়েক জন স্ত্রীলোক আমাদের অবাক করলেন; তারা ভোরে তাঁর কবরের কাছে গিয়েছিলেন,
23 and not finding his body there, came and said likewise that they had seen a vision of angels, who said He was alive.
২৩আর তাঁর মৃতদেহ দেখতে না পেয়ে এসে বললেন, স্বর্গ দূতদের ও দেখা পেয়েছি এবং তাঁরা বলেন, তিনি জীবিত আছেন।
24 And some of those that were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it so as the women had said: but Him they did not see.
২৪আর আমাদের সঙ্গীদের যারা কবরের কাছে গিয়েছিল, তারাও সেই স্ত্রীলোকেরা যেমন বলেছিলেন, তেমনি দেখতে পেয়েছিলেন, কিন্তু তাঁকে দেখতে পাননি।
25 And He said unto them, O people void of understanding and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken.
২৫তখন তিনি তাদের বললেন, হে অবুঝরা এবং ধীর হৃদয়ের লোকেরা, ভাববাদীরা যে সব কথা বলেছেন, সেই সবে বিশ্বাস করতে পার না
26 Was not the Messiah to suffer these things, and so to enter into his glory?
২৬খ্রীষ্টের কি প্রয়োজন ছিল না যে, এই সব দুঃখভোগ করেন ও নিজের মহিমায় প্রবেশ করেন?
27 And beginning from Moses, and all the prophets, He explained to them in all the scriptures the things that were spoken concerning Himself.
২৭পরে তিনি মোশি থেকে ও সমস্ত ভাববাদী থেকে শুরু করে সব শাস্ত্রে তাঁর নিজের বিষয়ে যে সব কথা আছে, তা তাদের বুঝিয়ে দিলেন।
28 And they drew nigh to the village whither they were going: and He made as if He was going farther.
২৮পরে তারা যেখানে যাচ্ছিলেন, সেখানে সেই গ্রামের কাছে আসলেন; আর তিনি দূরে যাবার ভাব দেখালেন।
29 And they pressed Him, saying, Stay with us, for it is towards evening, and the day is far spent. And He went in to tarry with them.
২৯কিন্তু তারা অনুরোধ করে বললেন, আমাদের সঙ্গে থাকুন, কারণ সন্ধ্যা হয়ে আসল, বেলা প্রায় চলে গেছে। তাতে তিনি তাদের সঙ্গে থাকার জন্য গৃহে ঢুকলেন।
30 And as He sat at table with them, He took bread and blessed it, and then brake it and gave to them.
৩০পরে যখন তিনি তাদের সঙ্গে খাবার খেতে বসলেন, তখন রুটি নিয়ে ধন্যবাদ করলেন এবং ভেঙে তাদের দিতে লাগলেন।
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew Him.
৩১অমনি তাদের চোখ খুলে গেল, তারা তাঁকে চিনতে পারলেন, আর তিনি তাদের থেকে অদৃশ্য হলেন।
32 And He disappeared from them. And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, as He was talking with us by the way, and while He was opening to us the scriptures?
৩২তখন তারা পরস্পরকে বললেন, পথের মধ্যে যখন তিনি আমাদের সঙ্গে কথা বলছিলেন, আমাদের কাছে শাস্ত্রের অর্থ বুঝিয়ে দিচ্ছিলেন, তখন আমাদের ভিতরে আমাদের হৃদয় কি উদ্দীপ্ত হয়ে উঠছিল না?
33 And they rose up immediately and returned to Jerusalem; and sound the eleven and others with them assembled together, saying,
৩৩আর তারা সেই দিনের ই উঠে যিরুশালেমে ফিরে গেলেন; এবং সেই এগারো জনকে ও তাদের সঙ্গীদের একসঙ্গে দেখতে পেলেন;
34 The Lord is risen indeed, and hath been seen by Simon.
৩৪তারা বললেন, প্রভু নিশ্চয় উঠেছেন এবং শিমোনকে দেখা দিয়েছেন।
35 Then these also related what had happened by the way, and how He became known to them in breaking of bread.
৩৫পরে সেই দুজন পথের ঘটনার বিষয়ে এবং রুটি ভাঙার দিন তারা কীভাবে তাঁকে চিনতে পেরেছিলেন, এই সব বিষয়েও বললেন।
36 And as they were thus speaking, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be to you.
৩৬তারা একে অপর এই কথাবার্তা বলছেন, ইতিমধ্যে তিনি নিজে তাদের মাঝে দাঁড়ালেন, ও তাদের বললেন, তোমাদের শান্তি হোক।
37 But they being terrified and frighted, thought they saw a spirit.
৩৭এতে তারা খুব ভয় পেয়ে মনে করলেন, ভূত দেখছি।
38 And He said to them, Why are ye troubled? and why do such thoughts rise in your hearts?
৩৮তিনি তাদের বললেন, কেন উদ্বিগ্ন হচ্ছ? তোমাদের মনে সন্দেহ জাগছে কেন?
39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
৩৯আমার হাত ও আমার পা দেখ, এ আমি নিজে; আমাকে স্পর্শ কর, আর দেখ; কারণ আমায় যেমন দেখছ, ভূতের এই রকম হাড় মাংস নেই।
40 And when He said this, He shewed them his hands and feet.
৪০এই বলে তিনি তাদের হাত ও পা দেখালেন।
41 But they not yet believing for joy, and being amazed, He said to them, Have ye here any thing to eat?
৪১তখনও তারা এত আনন্দিত হয়েছিল যে বিশ্বাস করতে পারছিলেন না ও অবাক হচ্ছিল, তাই তিনি তাদের বললেন, তোমাদের কাছে এখানে কি কিছু খাবার আছে?
42 And they gave Him part of a broiled fish and some honey-comb:
৪২তখন তারা তাঁকে একটি ভাজা মাছ দিলেন।
43 and He took, and did eat before them.
৪৩তিনি তা নিয়ে তাদের সামনে খেলেন।
44 And He said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all the things must be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and Psalms, concerning me.
৪৪পরে তিনি তাদের বললেন, তোমাদের সঙ্গে থাকতে থাকতে আমি তোমাদের যা বলেছিলাম, আমার সেই কথা এই, মোশির ব্যবস্থায় এবং ভাববাদীদের পুস্তকে এবং গীতসংহিতায় আমার বিষয়ে যা যা লেখা আছে, সে সব অবশ্য পূর্ণ হবে।
45 Then He opened their mind, to understand the scriptures:
৪৫তখন তিনি তাদের মন খুলে দিলেন, যেন তারা শাস্ত্র বুঝতে পারে,
46 and said unto them, thus it is written, and thus it was necessary that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead on the third day;
৪৬আর তিনি তাদের বললেন, এই কথা লেখা আছে যে, খ্রীষ্ট দুঃখভোগ করবেন এবং তৃতীয় দিনের মৃতদের মধ্যে থেকে উঠবেন;
47 and that in his name should be preached repentance and remission of sins to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
৪৭আর তাঁর নামে পাপ ক্ষমার জন্য মন ফেরানোর কথা সব জাতির কাছে প্রচারিত হবে যিরুশালেম থেকে শুরু করা হবে।
48 And ye are witnesses of these things: and I will send upon you the promise of my Father;
৪৮তোমরাই এসবের সাক্ষী।
49 but do ye continue in the city of Jerusalem, till ye are endued with power from on high.
৪৯আর দেখ আমার পিতা যা প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছেন, তা আমি তোমাদের কাছে পাঠাচ্ছি; কিন্তু যে পর্যন্ত স্বর্গ থেকে আসা শক্তি না পাও, সেই পর্যন্ত তোমরা ঐ শহরে থাক।
50 And He led them out as far as to Bethany: and lifted up his hands and blessed them.
৫০পরে তিনি তাদের বৈথনিয়া পর্যন্ত নিয়ে গেলেন; এবং হাত তুলে তাদের আশীর্বাদ করলেন।
51 And while He was blessing them, He was parted from them, and was carried up into heaven.
৫১পরে এই রকম হল, তিনি আশীর্বাদ করতে করতে তাদের থেকে আলাদা হলেন এবং স্বর্গে যেতে লাগলেন।
52 And they worshipped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.
৫২আর তারা তাঁকে প্রণাম করে মহানন্দে যিরুশালেমে ফিরে গেলেন;
53 And they were constantly in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
৫৩এবং সর্বক্ষণ ধর্মগৃহে থেকে ঈশ্বরের ধন্যবাদ করতে লাগলেন।
