John 7
1 After these things Jesus resided in Galilee: for He would not appear in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill Him.

2 Now the Jews feast called the feast of tabernacles was near;

3 his brethren therefore said, Depart from hence, and go into Judea, that thy disciples there also may see the works which thou performest.
Nipele achapwakwe Che Yesu ŵaasalile, “Ntyoche pelepa njaule ku Yudea kuti ŵakunkuya mmwe nombewo aiwone yakusimonjeka inkwipanganya.
4 For no man doth any thing in secret, who is himself desirous to be known in public. As thou dost these wonderful things, make thyself known to the world.
Ngapagwa mundu jwakupanganya chindu kwakulisisa iŵaga akusaka kumanyika ni ŵandu. Pakuŵa nkupanganya yelei, nlilosye mwasyene kwa ŵandu ŵa pachilambo.”
5 For neither did his brethren believe in Him.
Namose achapwakwe nganiŵakulupilila.
6 Then saith Jesus unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is always alike ready; for the world cannot hate you:
Nipele, Che Yesu ŵaasalile, “Katema kambone kukwangu kakanaŵe kwika, kukwenu ŵanyamwe katema kakalikose kali kambone.
7 but me it hates, because I bear my testimony concerning it, that it's deeds are evil.
Ŵandu ŵa pachilambo ngakombola kunchima ŵanyamwe, nambo uneji akunjima pakuŵa naasalile kuti yakuitendekanya yo ili yangalumbana.
8 Go ye up to this feast as soon as ye please; for I am not yet going up to it, because my time is not yet fully come.
Ŵanyamwe njaule kuchindimba cho. Uneji ngunyaula kuchindimba cho pakuŵa katema kambone kukwangu kakanaŵe kwika.”
9 And after He had said these things unto them, He stayed a while in Galilee.
Ŵaŵechete yeleyo ni kusigala pa Galilaya palapala.
10 But when his brethren were gone up, then He also went up to the feast, not in a public manner but as it were in private.
Achapwakwe paŵamasile kwaula kuchindimba cha masakasa, Che Yesu nombe ŵajawile, nambo nganajaula kwakulilosya, ŵajawile kwakulisisa.
11 The Jews therefore sought for Him at the feast, and said, Where is He?
Kuchindimba cho achakulu ŵa Ŵayahudi ŵaliji nkwasosasosa Che Yesu, ni ŵausyene, “Ana ali kwapi ŵelewo?”
12 And there was much murmuring among the people concerning Him: for some said, He is a good man; others said, No: He deceiveth the people.
Mpingo wa ŵandu waliji nkusongona jwine ni jwine yankati Che Yesu. Ŵandu ŵane ŵatite, “Ali mundu jwambone.” Ni ŵane ŵatite, “Ngaŵa! Akwalambusya ŵandu.”
13 No one however spake openly in favor of Him, for fear of the Jews.
Atamuno yeleyo ngapagwa mundu jwalijose jwalinjile kuŵecheta ngani syakwe pelanga kwa ligongo lya kwajogopa achakulu ŵa Ŵayahudi.
14 But when it was now about the middle of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and taught.
Chindimba cho pichaŵandichile kumala, Che Yesu ŵajawile pa Nyuumba ja Akunnungu ni kutanda kwiganya.
15 And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, who never learnt?
Nipele achakulu ŵa Ŵayahudi ŵasimosile ni kuti, “Ana mundu ju agapatile kwapi majiganyo ga, nombejo nganajaule kukulijiganya?”
16 Jesus answered them and said, The doctrine that I teach is not mine, but his that sent me.
Pelepo Che Yesu ŵaajanjile, “Majiganyo gungwiganya nganigaŵa gangu, nambo gakutyochela kwa ŵelewo ŵandumile une.
17 If any man desire to do his will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
Mundu asakaga kupanganya yakusaka Akunnungu, chaimanyilile kuti majiganyo gungwiganya gatyosile kwa Akunnungu pane nguŵecheta kwa ukombole wangu nansyene.
18 He, that speaketh from himself, seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh the glory of Him that sent him is true, and there is no imposture in him.
Jwelejo jwakuŵecheta ngani syakwe nsyene akusosasosa ukulu wakwe nsyene, nambo jwakusosasosa ukulu wa jwannajisye jula, jwelejo ali jwausyene ni mwa jwelejo ngapagwa unami.
19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you observeth the law? wherefore else do ye seek to kill me?
Ana che Musa nganampanga malajisyo? Atamuno yeleyo, ngapagwa jwalijose mwa ŵanyamwe jwakugatendekanya gagalembekwe mmalajisyo go. Ana ligongo chi nkusaka kumulaga?”
20 The people answered and said, Thou art possessed by a demon: who seeketh to kill thee?
Papopo mpingo wekulungwa wa ŵandu wajanjile, “Ana mmwe nkwete masoka! Nduni jwakusaka kummulaga mmwe?”
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I performed one miracle on the sabbath, and ye are all amazed at it.
Che Yesu ŵaajanjile, “Mbanganyisye chakusimonjeka chimo ni ŵanyamwe nkuchisimonga.
22 Now Moses gave you the law of circumcision, (not that it is originally from Moses, but from the patriarchs, ) and ye circumcise even on the sabbath:
Che Musa ŵampele chisyoŵelo cha kwaumbasya achiŵana ŵenu. Nambo chisyoŵelo cho nganichityochela ku che Musa nambo chatyochele kwa achambuje ŵenu. Sambano ŵanyamwe nkummumbasya mwanache pa Lyuŵa lya Kupumulila.
23 if then a man receive circumcision on the sabbath-day, that the law of Moses may not be broken; are ye angry with me, because I made a man perfectly well on the sabbath-day?
Iŵaga mundu akuumbala pa Lyuŵa lya Kupumulila kuti ganatemeche malajisyo, sambano kwa chichi nkuundumbilila une ligongo nannamisye mundu pa Lyuŵa lya Kupumulila?
24 Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgement.
Kasinlamula kwa meeso pe, nambo nlamule kwa goloka.”
25 Therefore some of those of Jerusalem said, Is not this He whom they seek to put to death?
Ŵandu ŵane ŵa ku Yelusalemu ŵatandite kuliusya, “Ana mundu ju ngaŵa ajula jwakusosekwa ni ilongola kuti ammulaje?
26 and here He talketh openly, and they say nothing to Him: Do the rulers indeed know, that this is in truth the Messiah?
Nnole, sambano akuŵecheta pelanga, nombe ngapagwa mundu jwakuntanjila chachilichose. Uli, ilongola akwimanyilila kuti aju ali Kilisito Jwakuwombola?
27 But we know whence this man is; whereas when Christ cometh, no one knoweth whence He is.
Pachaiche Kilisito ngapagwa mundu juchakumanye kwakopochele, nambo uweji tukumanyi kwakopochele mundu ju!”
28 Jesus therefore cried out in the temple, teaching and saying, Ye both know me, ye say, and ye know whence I am: now I am not come of myself, but He that sent me is true, whom ye know not.
Nipele Che Yesu paŵaliji nkwiganya pa Nyuumba ja Akunnungu ŵanyanyisye achitiji, “Ana ŵanyamwe nkuumanyilila une ni sooni nkumanyi kungopochele? Une nguniika kwa ulamusi wangu nansyene, nambo ŵandumile une wo ali ŵausyenesyene, ni ŵanyamwe ngunkwamanyilila,
29 But I know Him, for I am from Him, and He hath sent me.
uneji ngwamanyilila pakuŵa ngopochele kwa ŵelewo, nombewo ni ŵandumile une.”
30 They sought therefore to seize Him, but no one laid hand on Him, because his hour was not yet come.
Nipele ŵandu ŵasachile kwakamula, nambo nganapagwa mundu jwalijose jwalinjile kunkwaya, ligongo katema kakwe kaliji kakanaŵe kwika.
31 And many of the people believed on Him, and said, When the Messiah cometh, will He do more miracles than this man hath done?
Mumpingo wa ŵandu mula, ŵandu ŵajinji ŵakulupilile ni kuti, “Ana aikaga Kilisito Jwakuwombola chapanganye imanyisyo yekulungwa kupunda ayiyi yakuitendekanya aŵa?”
32 Now the pharisees heard the people murmuring these things concerning Him: and they, with the chief priests, sent officers to seize Him.
Mafalisayo ŵapilikene ŵandu achisongonaga jwine ni jwine yankati Che Yesu. Nipele achakulu ŵambopesi pamo ni Mafalisayo ŵatumile ŵakulindilila Nyuumba ja Akunnungu akaakamule Che Yesu.
33 Therefore Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while I am to be among you, and then I shall go to Him that sent me.
Che Yesu ŵaasalile, “Chindame ni ŵanyamwe kwa katema kakajipi, nipele chinyaule kwa ŵandumile ŵala.
34 Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am to be, ye cannot come.
Chimuusose nambo ngamuuwona, pakuŵa pepala pachime ŵanyamwe ngankombolanga kwika.”
35 Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will He go, that we shall not find Him? will He go to them that are dispersed among the Gentiles, and teach the Gentiles?
Achakulu ŵa Ŵayahudi ŵausyanaga achinsyene pe, “Ana mundu ju chajaule kwapi kwakuti ngatukombola kwawona? Ana chajaule kwa Ŵayahudi ŵapwilingene ni kutama mu misi ja Ŵagiliki ni kwajiganya Ŵagiliki?
36 What is the meaning of this speech, that He said, "Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am to be, ye cannot come?"
Ana malumbo gakwe chichi pakuti, ‘Chimuusose nambo ngamuuwona, ni pepala pachime ŵanyamwe ngankombola kwika?’”
37 And on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If any one thirst, let him come unto me and drink.
Lyuŵa lya mbesi lya chindimba cho lyaliji lyuŵa lyekulungwa. Che Yesu ŵajimi ni kuŵecheta kwa liloŵe lyakunyanyisya, “Mundu jwalijose jwakwete njota aiche kung'wa kukwangu.
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, rivers of living water shall flow from within him.
Mpela Malembelo ga Akunnungu yagakuti pakusala, ‘Jwakungulupilila uneji, sulo sya meesi gagakwikanawo umi chigajilime kutyochela nkati mwao!’”
39 (This He spake of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive; for the holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)
Ŵaŵechete yeleyo nkati Mbumu jwa Akunnungu juchapochelwe ni aŵala ŵakwakulupilila Che Yesu. Mpaka katema ko ŵandu ŵaliji nganampochele Mbumu jwa Akunnungu pakuŵa Akunnungu ŵaliji akanaŵe kunkusya Che Yesu.
40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this discourse, said, This is in truth a prophet.
Ŵandu ŵane mu mpingo ula ŵapilikene maloŵe go, ni ŵatite, “Isyene mundu ju ali jwakulondola jula!”
41 Others said, This is the Messiah. But some said, Shall the Messiah come out of Galilee?
Ŵandu ŵane ŵatite, “Aju ali Kilisito Jwakuwombola!” Nambo ŵandu ŵane ŵaliji nkuliusya, “Ana ikukomboleka Kilisito akopochele ku Galilaya?
42 Hath not the Scripture said, that Christ cometh of the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the town whence David was.
Ana Malembelo ga Akunnungu ngagakuti, ‘Kilisito Jwakuwombola chakopochele mu lukosyo lwa mwenye che Daudi, ni chapagwe ku Beselehemu, musi uŵatemi mwenye che Daudi?’”
43 So there was a division among the people about Him.
Nipele, ŵandu ŵa mumpingo ŵalekangene kwa ligongo lya Che Yesu.
44 And some among them would have seized Him: but no one laid hands on Him.
Ŵandu ŵane ŵasachile kwakamula nambo ngapagwa mundu jwalijose juŵankwaiye.
45 Then came the officers to the chief priests and pharisees, and they said, Why have ye not brought Him? and the officers answered,
Nipele ŵakulindilila Nyuumba ja Akunnungu paŵausile, achakulu ŵambopesi ni Mafalisayo, ŵausisye, “Kwachichi nganimwaichisya Che Yesu?”
46 Never man spake like this man.
Ŵakulindilila ŵala ŵajanjile, “Nganapagwe mundu jwalijose jwakombwele kuŵecheta mpela mundu ju!”
47 The pharisees therefore answered them, Are ye also deceived?
Nipele Mafalisayo ŵausisye, “Ana annambwisye ni ŵanyamwe ŵakwe?
48 have any of the rulers believed on Him, or of the pharisees?
Ana mpatile kumbona jumo jwa ilongola, pane jumo jwa Mafalisayo jwankulupilile jwelejo?
49 but these people, who know not the law, are cursed.
Ngwamba, nambo ŵandu ŵa ngakugamanyilila malajisyo ga Akunnungu gaŵapele che Musa, kwayele Akunnungu ŵalwesisye!”
50 Upon this Nicodemus, (who came to Him by night)
Jumo jwao ŵaliji che Nikodemu jumo jwa Mafalisayo juŵajaulile Che Yesu kundanda, ŵaasalile achinjakwe,
51 being one of them, saith to them, Doth our law judge any man, before it hear him, and know what he hath done?
“Malajisyo getu gakusala kuti, ngatukukombola kunlamula mundu jwalijose pangampilikanila kaje ni kwimanyilila chichi chakupanganya.”
52 They replied, Art thou also of Galilee? Search and see: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.
Ni ŵanyawo ŵanjanjile, “Ni ŵanyamwe ŵakwe ntyochele ku Galilaya? Nsosesose Mmalembelo Gamaswela nomwe chinnole kuti ku Galilaya ngaakopochela jwakulondola jwa Akunnungu!”
53 And every man went to his own house.
Nipele kila mundu ŵausile kumangwakwe.
