< John 5 >
1 After these things there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Kalpasan daytoy adda fiesta dagiti Judio ken simmang-at ni Jesus iti Jerusalem.
2 Now there is at Jerusalem near the sheep-market a pool, called in Hebrew Bethesda, with five porticos about it.
Iti Jerusalem, iti ruangan dagiti karnero, adda pagdigosan a maawagan iti Hebreo iti Betesda. Addaan daytoy iti lima a naatepan a portiko.
3 In these lay a great number of people that were infirm, blind, lame, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
Adu a bilang dagiti masakit a tattao, bulsek, lugpi ken paralitiko ti nakaidda kadagitoy a portiko.
4 For an angel descended at a certain season into the pool, and moved the water; the first therefore that went in after the disturbing of the water, was cured of whatever malady he laboured under.
5 And there was a man who had been under illness thirty eight years.
Adda maysa a lalaki idiay a saan a makagaraw iti tallopulo ket walo a tawen.
6 Jesus seeing him lie there, and knowing that he had been now a long time ill, saith unto him, Dost thou desire to be cured?
Idi nakita ni Jesus isuna a nakaidda sadiay, ken kalpasan a naamirisna a nabayagen isuna sadiay, kinunana kenkuana, “kayatmo kadi ti umimbag?”
7 The infirm man answered Him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is moved, to put me into the pool; but while I am coming, another goes down before me.
Simmungbat ti agsaksakit a lalaki, “Apo, awan ti kaduak a mangikarga kaniak iti pagdigosan, no makiburen ti danum, padpadasek pay laeng, addan sabali a bimmaba iti sangoanak.”
8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
Kinuna ni Jesus kenkuana, “Tumakderka, alaem ti ikamenmo ket magnaka.”
9 And immediately the man was cured: and he took up his bed and walked.
Dagus nga immimbag ti lalaki. Innalana ti pagiddaanna ket nagna. Ita, dayta nga aldaw ket Aldaw a Panaginana.
10 Now this was the sabbath-day, therefore the Jews said to him that was cured, It is the sabbath, it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.
Isu a kinuna dagiti Judio iti tao a naagasan, “Itatta ket Aldaw a Panaginana, saanka a mapalubosan a mangawit iti ikamenmo.”
11 He answered them, He, that made me well, said unto me, Take up thy bed and walk.
Simmungbat ti lalaki, “Ti nangagas kaniak a lalaki iti nangibaga, 'pidutem ti ikamenmo ket magnaka.”'
12 Therefore they asked him, Who is the man that said to thee, Take up thy bed and walk?
Sinaludsodda kenkuana, “Siasino dayta a tao a nangibaga kenka, 'Pidutem ti pagiddaam ket magnaka?'”
13 but he, that was healed, did not know who it was: for Jesus had withdrawn himself, there being many people in the place.
Nupay kasta, saan nga ammo ti lalaki a naagasan no siasino ti nangpaimbag kenkuana agsipud ta pimmanaw ni Jesus a sililimed, ta adda adu a tattao iti dayta a lugar.
14 Afterwards Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said to him, Behold, thou art healed; sin no more, least something worse befal thee.
Kalpasanna, nasarakan ni Jesus isuna idiay templo ket kinunana kenkuana, “Kitaem, immimbagkan! saanka nga agbasolen amangan no adda ti dakdakes pay a mapasamak kenka.”
15 And the man went away, and told the Jews, that it was Jesus who had healed him.
Immadayo ti lalaki ket imbagana kadagiti Judio a ni Jesus ti nangpaimbag kenkuana.
16 And for this did the Jews persecute Jesus, and endeavoured to put Him to death; because He had done these things on the sabbath-day.
Gapu kadagitoy, inusig dagiti Judio ni Jesus gapu ta inaramidna dagitoy a banbanag iti Aldaw a Panaginana.
17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh without intermission, and so do I.
Kinuna ni Jesus kadakuada, “Agtrabtrabaho ti Amak uray ita, uray siak agtrabtrabahoak met.
18 For this therefore the Jews sought the more to kill Him, because He had not only broken the sabbath, but had also called God his own Father, making Himself equal with God.
Gapu iti daytoy, ad-adda a pinanggep dagiti Judio a papatayen ni Jesus agsipud ta saanna laeng a binurak ti Aldaw a Panaginana, inawaganna ti Dios nga Amana, inaramidna a kapadpadana ti Dios.
19 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Verily, verily I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do: for whatsoever He doth, these also the Son doth in like manner.
Simmungbat ni Jesus kadakuada, “Pudno, pudno, awan ti maaramidan ti Anak babaen kenkuana laeng, malaksid no makitana nga ar-aramiden ti Ama. Ta no ania ti ar-aramiden iti Ama, ar-aramiden met laeng iti Anak dagitoy a banbanag.
20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth Him all things, which He Himself doth: and He will shew Him greater than these, that ye may wonder.
Gapu ta ay-ayaten iti Ama ti Anak, ipakpakitana amin nga ar- aramidenna kenkuana ken ipakitana pay dagiti naindaklan a banbanag tapno agsiddaawkayo.”
21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead and giveth life: even so the Son maketh alive whom He pleaseth.
Ta kas pagung-ungaren ti Ama dagiti natay ken mangmangted iti biag kadakuada, kasta met a, mangmangted met iti biag ti Anak kadagiti siasinoman a tarigagayanna.
22 For neither doth the Father judge any one, but hath committed all judgement to the Son;
Ta saan a mangukom ti Ama iti siasinoman, ngem intedna ti amin a panangukom iti Anak
23 that all men may honour the Son, even as they honour the Father: he, that honoureth not the Son, honoureth not the Father that sent Him.
tapno padayawanda ti Anak a kas panangpadayawda iti Ama. Ti siasinoman a saan a mangpadayaw iti Anak, saanna a padayawan ti Ama a nangibaon kenkuana.
24 Verily, verily I say unto you, he, that heareth my word, and believeth in Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come under condemnation; but is passed from death to life. (aiōnios )
Pudno, Pudno, siasinoman a makangkangngeg iti saok ken mamatpati iti nangibaon kaniak ket maaddaan iti biag nga agnanayon ken saan a mailunod. Ngem ketdi, nalabsanna ti pannakatay iti biag. (aiōnios )
25 Verily, verily I tell you, that the time is coming, and even now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live.
Pudno, pudno, ibagak kadakayo, ti oras ket umadanin ken adda ditoyen. Mangngeg dagiti natay ti timek iti Anak iti Dios, ken agbiag dagiti makangngeg.
26 For as the Father hath life in Himself, so hath He given also to the Son to have life in Himself.
Kas iti Ama nga adda biag kenkuana, ngarud, intedna met ti biag iti Anak tapno maadda ti biag kenkuana.
27 And hath given Him authority also to execute judgement, because He is the Son of man.
Inted met iti Ama iti Anak ti turay a mangaramid iti panangukom gapu ta isuna ti “Anak iti Tao”.
28 Wonder not at this; for the time is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
Saankayo a masdaaw iti daytoy, ta dumteng ti oras nga amin dagiti adda iti tanem ket mangngegda ti timekna
29 and shall come forth, they that have done good to the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil to the resurrection of damnation.
ken rumuarto dagiti nagaramid iti naimbag iti panagungar iti biag ken dagiti nagaramid iti kinadakes iti panagungar iti pannakaukom.
30 I can do nothing of my self: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father that hath sent me.
Awan ti maaramidak manipud iti bagik, apaman a mangngegko, mangukomak, ken nalinteg ti panangukomko gapu ta saanko a birbiruken ti bukodko a pagayatan ngem ti pagayatan iti nangibaon kaniak.
31 If I alone bear witness of my self, my testimony is not true in law:
No agsaksiak maipapan iti bagik, saan a pudno ti pammaneknekko.
32 but there is another who testifieth concerning me; and I know that the testimony, which he giveth concerning me, is true.
Adda iti sabali nga agsaksi maipapan kaniak, ken ammok a pudno ti pammaneknek nga itedna maipapan kaniak.
33 Ye your selves sent unto John, and he bore witness to the truth:
Imbaonmo kenni Juan ken pinaneknekanna iti kinapudno.
34 though I need not testimony from man; but I say these things that ye may be saved.
Nupay kasta, saan a naggapu iti tao ti pammaneknek a naawatko. Ibagak kadakayo dagitoy a banbanag tapno maisalakankayo.
35 He was indeed a burning and shining light, and for a while ye willingly rejoiced in his light.
Ni Juan ket pagsilawan a sumsumged ken agranraniag, ken immannugotkayo nga agrag-o iti panawen iti lawagna.
36 But I have a testimony greater than John's: for the works which the Father hath given me to perform, the very works which I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
Ngem ti pammaneknek nga adda kaniak ket dakdakkel ngem ti adda ken ni Juan, gapu ta dagiti trabaho nga inted ti Ama a leppasek, dagiti trabaho nga ar-aramidek ket mangpaneknek maipapan kaniak nga imbaonnak ti Ama.
37 And the Father who sent me, hath Himself borne witness of me: and yet ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his form.
Ti Ama a nangibaon kaniak ket nagsaksi maipapan kaniak. Saanyo a nangngeg ti timekna wenno nakita ti langana iti uray ania nga oras.
38 And ye have not his word abiding in you; because ye believe not Him, whom He hath sent.
Awan ti saona a nagtalinaed kadakayo, ta saankayo a namatpati iti imbaonna.
39 Ye search the scriptures; for ye think that in them ye have eternal life: (aiōnios )
Sukimatenyo ti Nasantoan a Kasuratan gapu ta panpanunutenyo nga adda kadakuada ti biagyo nga agnanayon ken dagitoy isu met laeng a Nasantoan a Kasuratan ket mangpaneknek ti maipapan kaniak (aiōnios )
40 and they testify of me: and yet ye will not come to me, that ye may have life.
ken saanyo a kayat ti umay kaniak tapno maaddaankayo iti biag.
41 Though I desire not applause from men:
Saanak nga umaw-awat iti pammadayaw manipud kadagiti tattao,
42 but I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.
ngem ammok nga awan kadakayo ti ayat iti Dios kadagiti bagbagiyo.
43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another should come in his own name, him ye will receive.
Immayak iti nagan iti Amak ken saandak nga inawat. No sabali ti umay iti bukodna a nagan, awatenyo isuna.
44 How can ye believe, who receive applause from each other, and the glory which is from God only, ye seek not?
Kasano a mamatikayo, dakayo nga immawat iti pammadayaw manipud iti sabali ngem saankayo nga nagbirbiruk iti pammadayaw a naggapu iti maymaysa a Dios?
45 Think not that I shall accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.
Saanyo a panunoten nga idarumkayo iti sangoanan iti Ama. Ti nangidarum kadakayo ket ni Moises a nangikabilanyo iti namnamayo.
46 For if ye believed Moses, ye would believe me; for he wrote concerning me:
No mamatpatikayo ken Moises, mamatikayonto met kaniak gapu ta isu ti nangisurat iti maipapan kaniak.
47 but if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
No saankayo a mamati kadagiti insuratna, kasano a patienyo dagiti sasaok?
