< James 3 >
1 My brethren, be not many teachers, knowing that we who are such shall pass a stricter trial than others: for in many things we all offend;
Mobanse bame, kamutafula mobeshikwiyisha, pakwinga tobeshikwiyisha nitukomboloshewe mwakutuyumina moyo kupita bantu nabambi.
2 and if any offend not in word, he is a compleat man, able to manage also the whole body.
Twense tukute kwipisha mubintu bingi. Na mpwali utalisuntulu pakwamba, okwambeti uyo walulama, pakwinga wela kukonsha kwendelesha cena mubili wakendi wonse.
3 Behold we put bridles into the mouths of horses, that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body as we please.
Tukute kubika kela kang'anowa mukanwa mwa Lihaki kwambeti litunyumfwilenga kayi nekukonsha kututwala kulikonse nkotulayandanga kuya.
4 Behold also the ships which are of so great bulk, and even when they are driven by hard winds, yet are turned about by a very small helm which way soever the pilot pleaseth.
Kayi kamubonani bwato, nambi nibunene kayi bukute kunyakwa ne mpepo, nsombi bukute kunyonwa nekatondo kakukwashusha, kwambeti bwenga kulikonse nkwalayandanga labwendeleshenga.
5 So the tongue is a small part of the body, yet boasteth great things. Behold how much fuel a little fire kindleth!
Neco nicimocimo ne lulemi. Nikabela kang'ana, nsombi kakute kulitunta ne kwinsa bintu binene. Kayi kamubonani kukonempa kwa cisuwa, nsombi cikute kupya ne kamumuni kang'ana ka mulilo.
6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our several parts, defiling the whole body, inflaming the course of nature, and is set on fire by hell. (Geenna )
Neco nalo lulemi lulyeti mulilo. Pakwinga luli mukati mumubili wetu, lukute kumwaya bintu byaipa mumubili wonse. Lukute kwipisha bwikalo bwa muntu. Lukute kutenta buyumi bwetu bonse kufuma mpotwalasemwa mpaka pakufwa, mulilowo ukute kufumina ku Gehena. (Geenna )
7 For every kind of wild beasts, and birds, and reptiles, and fishes, is tamed and hath been tamed by mankind:
Muntu ngaucikonsha kusuwa banyama bamushobo uliwonse, nambi mushobo wabikeni, nambi mushobo wabishi kukalaba, nambi mushobo wa bintu byamumenshi pakwinga walabisuwapo.
8 but the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
Nsombi paliya muntu wela kukonsha kuwendelesha lulemi. Lulemi lwaipa, nkalusungwa, lwesula nebusungu.
9 With it we bless God even the Father; and with it we curse men, who are made after the likeness of God:
Ne lulemi tukute kulumba Lesa Bameshetu, nomba kayi ne lulemi lopelolo tukute kushingana banetu mbwalabumba Lesa, abo bakoshana nendi.
10 out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. These things, my brethren, ought not so to be.
Pamulomo umoumo pakute kufuma kulumba, nekushingana. Mobanse bame, ibi kabitenshikanga.
11 Does a fountain from the same opening send forth sweet water and bitter?
Sena pamukalo umoumo ngapafuma menshi aina, kayi ne alula?
12 Can a fig-tree, my brethren, produce olives, or a vine figs? so can no fountain produce salt water and sweet.
Mobanse bame sena citondo ca mukuyu ingacisema bisepo bya mbula, nambi citondo camutumbi ngacikata nkuyu? Cimocimo mukalo wa menshi amucele nkela kupulisha menshi aina.
13 Is there any wise and understanding man among you? let him shew his works by a good conversation in the meekness of wisdom:
Niyani ukute mano kayi ukute kunyumfwisha bintu? Aboneshe mikalilo yakendi yaina, nekwinsa bintu mwakulicepesha.
14 but if ye have bitter envy and strife in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth;
Nomba mwakutenga moyo wamunyono ne wakulibona buntu, kamutalitunta pakutotekeshana necancine ncine pakwamba bwepeshi.
15 this is not the wisdom, that cometh down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and diabolical:
Mano alico ntewo akute kufuma kwilu sobwe, akute kufuma kubantu nekumishimu yaipa yapano pacishi capanshi.
16 for where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
Pakwinga pali munyono, nekulibona buntu, pali minyungwe nencito yaipa yamushobo uliwonse.
17 But the wisdom that is from above first is pure, then peaceable, mild, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
Nomba mano alafumunga kwilu, cakutanguna akute kuba alulama, alumuno, kayi akulicepesha, kayi eshikunyumfwa. Mano ankumbo, akute kusema bisepo byaina. Mano alico nkasalululu, nambi kulibonesha.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for those that promote peace.
Neco mbuto shikute kubyalwa ne bantu mulumuno shikute kuleta bululami.
