< Acts 5 >

1 But a certain man named Ananias, together with Sapphira his wife,
Kutyo, omunu umwi oyo atogwaga Anania, na Safira omugasi waye, bhagusishe orubhara rwo bhunibhi,
2 sold a possession, and secreted part of the price, his wife also being conscious to it; and bringing: some part, laid it at the feet of the apostles.
naseleka orubhara rwa iyela eyo bhagusha (omugasi waye ona alimenyere linu), naleta orubhara orwo lwasigaye natura mu maguru ga intumwa.
3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan so filled thine heart, that thou shouldst lie to the holy Ghost, and keep back part of the price of the land?
Mbe nawe Petro naika, “Anania, okubhaki nyakusheta ejusishe omutima gwao okwaika olurimi ku Mwoyo Omweru no kuseleka orubhara lwa lisambu?
4 While it remained, did it not remain thy own? and when sold, was it not in thy own power? what is the meaning that thou hast taken this into thine heart? Thou hast not lyed to men, but to God.
Oa yaga lichali kugusibhwa, yaga litali bhunibhi bhwao? Na ryejile likagusibhwa, yaga litali mubhuramusi bhwao? Ibhe kutiki ubhe no musango gunu mu mutima gwao? Utabhajiga abhanu, tali wamujiga Nyamuanga.”
5 And Ananias at the hearing of these words fell down and expired: and great fear came on all that heard these things.
Ejile ongwa emisango jinu, Anania aguye ansi nafwa. No bhubha bhwanfu nibhugwata bhona abho bhunguwe linu.
6 And some of the young men arose, and wrapped him up; and they carried him out, and buried him.
Abhasigaji mbaja okumutura mwisanda, mbamusila anja okumusika.
7 And about the space of three hours after, his wife also came in, not knowing what had happened.
Baada ya masaa gasatu kuti, omugasi waye nengila munyumba, atamenya echo chasokerera.
8 And Peter said to her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much. And she said, Yes, for so much.
Petro namubhwira, “Mbwira, labha mwagusishe lisambu kwo bhugusi obhwo.” Naika, “Yee, kwo bhugusi obhwo.”
9 Then Peter said unto her, Wherefore have ye agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold the feet of those, who have been burying thy husband, now at the door, and they shall carry thee out.
Petro namubhwira, “Ibhe kutiki mwikilishanye amwi okulegeja Omwoyo gwo Mukama? Rola, amaguru ga bhanu bhasika omurume wao gali kumuryango, abhakubhatura no kukusila anja.”
10 And immediately she fell down at his feet and expired: and the young men coming in found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.
Nagwa mumaguru ga Petro, nafwa, na bhasigaji bhalia mbagenda munyumba mbamusanga afuye. Mbamubhatura okumusila anja, mbamusika ayeyi no murume waye.
11 And great fear came upon the whole assembly, and upon all that heard these things.
Obhubha bhukuru mbuja inguru ya likanisa ryona, na inguru ya bhona abho bhonguwe amagambo ganu.
12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders done among the people: And they all met with one accord in Solomon's portico:
Ebhibharikisho bhyanfu ne bhiruguro bhyasokereraga agati ya bhanu okutura kumabhoko ga jintumwa. Bhaliga bhali amwi mwi woyelo lya Sulemani.
13 but no other presumed to join himself to them; however the people magnified them.
Mbe nawe, atalio munu undi oyo atasikene aliga no bhuyigi bhwo kugenda nabho; norwo kutyo, bhabhayanile lisima lya inguru na bhanu.
14 And true believers were the more willingly added to the Lord, even multitudes both of men and women.
Ka lindi, abhekirisha bhanfu bhaliga mbagenderera okwijula ku Mukama, obhukumi bhwanfu bhwa bharume na bhagasi,
15 insomuch that they brought the sick out into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at lest the shadow of Peter, as he came by, might pass over some of them.
nikakingira akatungu mbabhatura abharwaye mbabhaleta munjira no kubhamamya kumalili na kumakochi, korereki Petro akabha natulao, lilengesi lyaye lituke inguru yebhwe.
16 And a great number out of the cities round about also came together to Jerusalem, bringing those that were infirm and that were troubled with impure spirits; and they were all cured.
Ao ona, obhukumi bhwa bhanu bhanfu bhejile okusoka mu misi ejo jaga jijongelee Yerusalemu, mbabhaleta abharwaye bhona abho bhaga bhane mitima mibhibhi, na bhona bheulisibhwe.
17 Then the high priest rose up, and all that were with him, (being of the sect of the sadducees, ) and were filled with rage:
Mbe nawe omugabhisi omukuru emukile, na bhona abho bhaliga bhali amwi nage (abho bha idini ya masadukayo); bhejuye orwango
18 and laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the public prison.
mbagorora amabhoko gebhwe okugwata jintumwa no kubhatura mwibhoyelo lya bhona.
19 But an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the prison by night, and having brought them out said,
No mwanya gwa mungeta malaika wo Mukama negula emirwango ja libhoyelo no kubhasosha anja naika ati,
20 "Go stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life."
“Mugende, mujokwimereguru mwi hekalu na mubhabhwile abhanu emisango jona ejo bhuanga bhunu.”
21 And hearing this, they went early in the morning into the temple and taught the people. But the high priest being come, and they that were with him, to the council-chamber, they called together the Sanhedrim, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent orders to the prison that they should be brought before them.
Bhejile bhongwa linu, bhengiye mwi hekalu omwanya gwa muruguru no kwiigisha. Mbe nawe, omugabhisi omukuru ejile na bhona abho bhaliga bhali nage, nabhilikira libharaja lyona amwi, na bhakaruka bhona bha bhanu bha Israeli, nabhatuma mwibhoyelo okuleta jintumwa.
22 But when the officers came they found them not in the prison: so they returned,
Mbe nawe abhakosi abho bhagendele, bhatabhasangiremo mwibhoyelo, mbasubhayo okusira emisango jinu jikorekene,
23 and told them, saying, the prison we found shut with all safety, and the keepers standing without before the doors: but when we opened them, we found no body within.
“Chasanga libhoyelo ligawe kisi, na bhalinzi bhemereguyu kumuryango, mbe nawe chejokwigura, chitaroramo munu.”
24 Now when the high priest, and the captain of the temple, and the chief priests heard these words, they were in doubt concerning them, what this would come to;
Mbe oli omulindi omukuru wa lihekalu na bhagabhisi abhakuru bhejile bhongwa emisango jinu, bhengiliwe no bhubha bhunene inguru yebhwe mbeganilisha ogubha kutiki omusango gunu.
25 when there came one and told them, saying, behold, the men whom ye put in prison, are in the temple teaching the people.
Niwo naja umwi nabhabhwila, “Abhanu abho mwamatura mwibhoyelo bhemereguyu mwi hekalu na abheigisha abhanu.”
26 Then the captain went with the officers and brought them, but not with violence; for they were afraid of the people least they should be stoned:
Kutyo omulindi omukuru nagenda amwi na bhakosi, mbabhaleta, mbe nawe nawe bhatabhajwangishe, kwo kubha bhobhaire abhanu bhakatulile okubhabhuma na mabhwiyi.
27 and when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them,
Bhejile bhabhaleta, mbabhatura imbele ya libharaja, Omugabhisi omukuru nabhabhusha
28 saying, Did not we strictly charge you not to teach in this name? and behold ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and would bring this man's blood upon us.
naika ati, “Chabharagilie muteigisha kwa lisina linu, mbe nawe mugendelee okwijusha Yerusalemu ne riigisho ryemwe, no mwenda okuleta amanyinga go munu unu inguru yeswe.”
29 But Peter, and the other apostles, answered, and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Mbe nawe Petro na jintumwa nibhasubhya ati, “Ni bhusi bhusi chimungwe Nyamuanga kuliko abhanu.
30 The God of our fathers hath raised up Jesus whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
Nyamuanga wa bhalata bheswe amusuruye Yesu, oyo mwetile, kwo kumusunga inguru ya liti.
31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand as a prince and saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins:
Nyamuanga amukusishe kwo kubhoko kwaye kwo bhuryo, no kumukora abhe mukuru no mwirusi, okusosha liungamo ku Israeli, na lisasila rye bhikayo.
32 and we are his witnesses of what we declare; and so is the holy Spirit, whom God hath given to them that obey Him.
Eswe chili bhabhambasi bhe misango jinu, no Mwoyo Omweru, oyo Nyamuanga asosishe kwa bho abhamutegeresha.”
33 And when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to put them to death.
Abhakaruka bha libharaja bhejile bhongwa kutya, mbagwatwa ne bhinyiga mbenda okwita jintumwa.
34 But a certain pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, held in much esteem by all the people, stood up in the council, and ordered the apostles to be taken out a little while; and then he said unto them,
Mbe nawe falisayo oyo atogwaga Gamalieli, omwiisha we bhiragiro, oyo aliga nayanwa lisima na bhanu bhona, emereguyu naragirira jintumwa bhabhasile anja kwo mwanya mufwiyi.
35 Men of Israel, take heed to yourselves, what ye are about to do, as to these men.
Mbe nabhabhwira, “Abharume bha Israeli, murabha no bhwenge muno kugunu omwenda oramura okubhakorera abhanu bhanu.
36 For some time ago one Theudas arose, pretending to be some extraordinary person, to whom was joined a number of men, about four hundred: who was slain, and all that followed him were dispersed and came to nothing.
Kwo kubha, akatungu ka kara, Theuda emukire no kwikora kubha munu mukuru, no bhukumi bhwa bhanu magana gana mbamurubha. Etirwe, na bhanu bhaliga mbamungwa mbanyarambuka no kubhura.
37 After him arose Judas the Galilean, at the time of the registring, and drew much people after him: but he also perished, and all that followed him were dispersed.
Ejile akarabhao unu, Yuda omugalilaya, emukire jinsiku jiliya ejo kubhara abhanu, nakwesha abhanu bhanfu inyuma yaye. Unu ona abhurire na bhanu bhaliga mbamurubha mbanyarambuka.
38 And therefore as to the present affair I advise you to refrain from these men and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nothing;
Mbe oli enibhabhwira, mwikenge na abhanu bhanu na mubhasige bhenyere, kwo kubha, labha emilimu jinu ni ja abhanu abhajesa.
39 but if it be of God, ye cannot defeat it, least ye be found fighting even against God.
Mbe nawe labha ni ja Nyamuanga, mutakutura kubhaganya; omutura okwisanga nimuyagarikana na Nyamuanga.” Kurwejo, mbagwatibhwa ne misango jaye.
40 So they took his advice, and having called for the apostles and scourged them, they charged them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
Mbe, mbabhirikira jintumwa munyumba mbabhabhuma no kubharagirira bhatasimura kwa lisina rya Yesu, mbabhasiga bhagende jebhwe.
41 And they departed from the presence of the council rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer disgrace for his name.
Mbasoka imbele ya libharaja bhakondelewe kwo kubha bhabhalirwa ati jibheire okunyasibhwa no kugaywa kwa injuno ya lisina eryo.
42 And every day in the temple and from house to house they ceased not from teaching and preaching that Jesus was the Christ.
Ku rwejo, bhuli lusiku, mbajaga mwi hekalu na bhuli musi bhagendelee okwiigisha no kumusimura Yesu ati niwe Masia.
