< 2 Peter 3 >

1 This second epistle, my beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your sincere mind in remembrance,
Ita, insuratko daytoy a maikadua a suratko kadakayo a patpatgek tapno paregtaek ti napudno a panunotyo
2 that ye may be mindful of the words formerly spoken by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: knowing this first,
tapno malagipyo dagiti sasao a naibaga idin babaen kadagiti nasantoan a profeta ken maipanggep iti bilin ti Apo ken mannubbottayo babaen kadagiti apostolyo.
3 that there will come in the last days scoffers,
Ammoenyo daytoy nga umuna; addanto dagiti mananglalais nga umay kadagiti maudi nga al-aldaw a manglaisdakayo, ket agtignayda segun kadagiti bukodda a tarigagay,
4 walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the declaration of his coming? for except that the fathers are fallen asleep, all things remain as they were from the beginning of the creation.
ket kunaenda, “Ayanna ti kari ti panagsublina? Natayen dagiti ammatayo, ngem awan met iti nagbaliwan dagiti amin a banbanag manipud idi rugrugi ti pannakaparsua.''
5 For they are willingly ignorant of this, that by the Word of God the heavens were made of old, and the earth too from the water, and subsisting on the water.
Inggagarada a linipat a dagiti langit ken ti daga ket naipasdek manipud iti danum, ken babaen iti danum iti nabayagen a panawen, babaen iti sao ti Dios,
6 Whence the old world being drowned in water perished.
ket babaen iti saona ken iti danum, nadadael ti lubong iti pannakalayusna iti dayta a tiempo.
7 But the heavens and the earth, that now are, by the same Word are kept in store, reserved unto fire on the day of judgement and destruction of ungodly men.
Ngem ita, naisagana dagiti langit ken ti daga babaen iti dayta met laeng a sao para iti apuy, ket naisaganada para iti aldaw ti pannakaukom ken iti pannakadadael dagiti saan a nadiosan a tattao.
8 But, beloved; be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Rumbeng a saanyo a liplipatan daytoy, ay-ayatek, nga iti maysa nga aldaw ti Apo ket kasla sangaribu a tawen, ken ti sangaribu a tawen ket kasla maysa nga aldaw.
9 The Lord is not slow as to his promise (as some count it slowness) but is long-suffering towards us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Saan a nabuntog nga agtignay ti Dios maipapan kadagiti karina, a kas pagarupen dagiti dadduma a daytoy ket kinabuntog, ngem naanus isuna kadakayo. Saanna a tarigagayan a mapukaw ti uray maysa kadakayo, ngem tarigagayna nga ipalubos a maaddaan iti tiempo ti amin nga agbabawi.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements being set on fire shall be dissolved, and the earth and the works therein shall be burnt up.
Nupay kasta, ti aldaw ti Apo ket umay a kasla mannanakaw. Mapukawto dagiti langit a buyogan iti napigsa nga ariwawa. Mapuoranto dagiti elemento babaen iti apuy ket maiparangarangto ti daga ken dagiti aramid nga adda iti daytoy.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in holy conversation and godliness,
Agsipud ta amin dagitoy a banbanag ket madadaelto iti kastoy a wagas, ania a kita ti tattao ti rumbeng koma a pagbalinanyo? Masapul nga agbiagkayo iti nasantoan ken nadiosan a panagbiag.
12 expecting and hastening on the coming of the day of God, whereby the heavens being set on fire shall be dissolved, and the burning elements shall be melted.
Masapul a mangnamnamakayo ken agapurakayo maipapan iti iyaay ti aldaw ti Dios. Iti dayta nga aldaw, madadaelto dagiti langlangit babaen iti apuy ken marunawto dagiti elemento gapu iti napalalo unay a pudot.
13 But we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwelleth.
Ngem segun iti karina, urayentayo dagiti baro a langit ken ti baro a daga, a pagnanaedan ti kinalinteg.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing ye expect these things, give diligence to be found of Him in peace, spotless and blameless;
Ngarud, patpatgek, agsipudta namnamaenyo dagitoy a banbanag, aramidenyo ti amin a kabaelanyo tapno saankayo a mamulitan ken awan iti pakapilawanyo, ken addaankayo iti nasayaat a panakakikadua kenkuana.
15 and account the long-suffering of our Lord salvation, as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, hath written unto you;
Ken ibilangyo a pannakaisalakan ti kinaanus ti Apotayo, kas insurat kadakayo ti patpatgenyo a kabsat a ni Pablo, manipud iti sirib a naited kenkuana.
16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things: in which are some things hard to be understood, which the illiterate and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.
Kanayon a dakdakamaten ni Pablo dagitoy a banbanag kadagiti amin a suratna, nga adda dagiti banbanag a narigat a maawatan. Ballikugen dagiti saan a nasuroan ken saan a natalged a tattao dagitoy a banbanag, a kas met laeng iti ar-aramidenda kadagiti dadduma pay a nasantoan a sursurat, a mangitunda kadakuada iti pakadadaelan.
17 Do ye therefore, beloved, as ye know these things before, take heed least being seduced together with them by the error of the wicked, ye should fall from your own stedfastness.
Ngarud, dakayo a patpatgek, agsipud ta ammoyon dagitoy a banbanag, annadanyo dagiti bagbagiyo tapno saankayo nga agturong iti pakaiyaw-awanan babaen iti panangallilaw dagiti awanan-linteg a tattao ket mapukawyo ti bukodyo a kinapudno.
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: to Him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Ngem dumakkelkayo iti parabur ken pannakaammoyo iti Apotayo ken Manangisalakantayo a ni Jesu-Cristo. Maipaay koma kenkuana ti dayaw, ita ken iti agnanayon. Amen! (aiōn g165)
