2 John 1
1 The elder unto the excellent Lady, and her children, whom I love in truth: and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;
El anciano, a la señora elegida y a sus hijos, a quienes amo en la verdad, y no sólo yo, sino también todos los que conocen la verdad,
por la verdad, que permanece en nosotros, y estará con nosotros para siempre: (aiōn g165)
3 grace, mercy, and peace be with you from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
La gracia, la misericordia y la paz estarán con vosotros, de parte de Dios Padre y del Señor Jesucristo, el Hijo del Padre, en la verdad y el amor.
4 I rejoiced greatly that I found among thy children such as walked in truth, as we received commandment from the Father.
Me alegro mucho de haber encontrado a algunos de tus hijos caminando en la verdad, tal como nos ha sido ordenado por el Padre.
5 And now I beseech thee, Lady, not as writing to thee a new commandment, but that which we had from the beginning, that we may love one another.
Ahora te ruego, querida señora, no como si te escribiera un nuevo mandamiento, sino el que teníamos desde el principio: que nos amemos unos a otros.
6 And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments. This is the commandment, as ye heard from the beginning, that ye should walk in it.
Este es el amor, que andemos según sus mandamientos. Este es el mandamiento, tal como lo habéis oído desde el principio, para que andéis en él.
7 For many deceivers are come out into the world, who disown that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. Such a one is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Porque muchos engañadores han salido por el mundo, los que no confiesan que Jesucristo vino en carne. Este es el engañador y el Anticristo.
8 Look to yourselves, that ye lose not the things which ye have wrought, but that ye may receive a full reward.
Velad para que no perdamos lo que hemos logrado, sino que recibamos una recompensa completa.
9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God: but he, that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, hath both the Father and the Son.
El que transgrede y no permanece en la enseñanza de Cristo no tiene a Dios. El que permanece en la enseñanza tiene al Padre y al Hijo.
10 Now if any one come unto you, and bringeth not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, nor wish him success: for he,
Si alguien viene a ustedes y no trae esta enseñanza, no lo reciban en su casa y no lo reciban,
11 that biddeth him welcome, is partaker of his evil deeds.
porque el que lo recibe participa en sus malas acciones.
12 Having many things to write unto you, I would not with paper and ink: but I hope to come unto you, and speak mouth to mouth, that our joy may be full.
Teniendo muchas cosas que escribirte, no quiero hacerlo con papel y tinta, sino que espero ir a verte y hablarte cara a cara, para que nuestra alegría sea plena.
13 The children of thy elect sister salute thee. Amen.
Los hijos de tu hermana elegida te saludan. Amén.
