< 2 Corinthians 2 >

1 But I determined with myself, not to come to you again in grief:
Acunakyase nami mlung ka ning jah thüisak khaia nami veia ka law khaia am kya.
2 for if I grieve you, who is it that maketh me glad, but he that is grieved by me?
3 And I wrote this to you, that when I come I may not have grief from those of whom I ought to receive joy, being persuaded concerning all of you, that my joy is the joy of you all.
4 For through much affliction and distress of heart I wrote to you with many tears; not that ye might be grieved, but that ye might know the love with which I abound towards you.
5 And if any one hath caused grief, it hath grieved me only as to part of you, (that I may not overcharge you
Khyang mat naw khyang mata mlung a thüi sak üng kei däng ka mlung na thüisakia am kya lü nangmia mlung pi ning jah thüisak pängkia ni akya ve. (Ngjut bekia khana natnak am ka ngaiha phäha ka pyena kyaki)
6 all) though sufficient to such a one is the censure passed on him by many.
Acuna khyanga khana nami mkhuimkhanak hin a phäha khäki ni.
7 So that on the contrary, ye ought rather to forgive and comfort him, least such a one should be swallowed up with excessive sorrow.
Acunakyase, acuna mäih cun aktäa thüisei lü pyaikia am a kyanak vaia mhlät u lü nami mcäi vai.
8 Wherefore I beseech you to confirm your love to him.
Acuna thea, ani akcanga nami jawng naki ti cun nami mdang vaia ning jah nghui na veng.
9 For to this end also did I write, that I might have proof of you, whether ye are obedient in all things.
10 And to whom ye forgive any thing, I also forgive it: for if I have forgiven any thing, I forgave it him, to whom I did forgive it, for your sakes, in the person of Christ; that we might not be foiled by Satan:
Upi a katnak nami mhlät cun kei naw pi ka mhlätki. Kei naw mat mat a katnak ka mhlät khawikia akya üng nangmia phäha Khritaw üng ka mhlätki.
11 for we are not ignorant of his devices.
Am ani üng khawyam naw jah näng khai ni; i a bilawh hlü mi ksingki ni.
12 So that when I came to Troas on account of the gospel of Christ, and a door was opened to me in the Lord,
13 yet I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother there; but taking my leave of them, I went away into Macedonia.
Acunakyase khyang he jah hnukset lü Maketawnih khawa ka citki.
14 But thanks be to God, who always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and spreadeth the odor of his knowledge by us in every place.
Khritawa ngnängnak üng Pamhnam naw thawng kyuma kba jah cehpüiki. Pamhnam naw khritaw ksingkhyapnak cun ng’uinghnama kba avan üng pha hü khaia jah summangeiki.
15 For we are the sweet odor of Christ unto God, in them that are saved, yea and in them that perish:
Mimi cun, küikyan he ja khyükaki he üng, Pamhnama veia Khritaw naw a bilawha ng’uinghnama mi kyaki ni.
16 to these indeed we are an odor of death to death; to those an odor of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
Khyükakia khyang hea phäha thihnaka thu lü, küikyana khyang hea phäha xünnaka ng’uinghnama kyaki. Acuna mäih vaia u naw khyaih khai ni?
17 For we are not like many who adulterate the word of God: but as with sincerity, but as from God, and in the sight of God, we speak concerning Christ.
Khyang khawjah naw Pamhnama ngthu cun khyang he jah hleihlak na u lü ami khawnua phäha ami summangeia kba keimi naw ta am summangei u nawng; akcanga Pamhnama ngjakhlüa, Pamhnama hmuha Khritawa ngthu kami sangki ni.
