1 Thessalonians 2
1 For ye yourselves, brethren, know our entrance among you, that it was not in vain.
हे बिश्वासी भाईयो, थमनै आप्पे बेरा सै, के म्हारा थारे धोरै आणा कितना फायदेमन्द था,
2 But though we had suffered before and been injuriously treated, as ye know, at Philippi, we spake boldly in the name of our God to declare unto you the gospel of God with much conflict.
बल्के थमनै खुद नै ए बेरा सै, के पैहल्या हमनै फिलिप्पी नगर म्ह दुख ठाया, के म्हारा नगर के माणसां नै सख्त बिरोध करया, अर परमेसवर नै म्हारै तै इसी हिम्मत देई, के हम परमेसवर का सुसमाचार घणे बिरोध्द होण के बावजूद भी थमनै सुणावां।
3 For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of impurity, nor in guile:
क्यूँके म्हारा उपदेश ना भ्रम तै सै, अर ना गलत इरादे तै, अर ना छळ कै गैल सै;
4 but as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God, who trieth our hearts.
पर परमेसवर नै म्हारै ताहीं लायक समझकै सुसमाचार सौंप्या, इस करकै हम माणसां नै न्ही, पर जो म्हारै मनां नै जांच्चण आळे परमेसवर ताहीं राज्जी करण खात्तर उपदेश देवा सां।
5 For neither at any time used we flattering speech, as ye know, nor covetous pretence, God is witness:
थमनै बेरा सै, परमेसवर गवाह सै, के हमनै कदे चापलूसी की बात कोनी करी, अर ना ए लोभ के खात्तर हमनै कोए इसा काम करया, अर ना कुछ थारे तै छुपाया।
6 nor sought we glory of men, neither of you, nor of others: though we might have expected maintenance, as the apostles of Christ.
तोभी हम माणसां तै आदर कोनी चाहवां थे, अर ना थारे तै, ना और किसे तै, हालाकि हम मसीह के प्रेरित होण कै कारण थारी मदद पाणा म्हारा हक था।
7 But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children:
पर जिस तरियां माँ अपणे बाळकां का पालन-पोषण करै सै, उस्से तरियां ए हमनै भी थारे बिचाळै रहकै नरमाई दिखाई सै;
8 so we, being affectionately desirous of you, were willing to impart to you, not only the gospel of God, but even our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.
एक माँ की तरियां ए हम थारी चाहना करदे होए, ना सिर्फ परमेसवर का सुसमाचार, पर अपणा-अपणा प्राण भी थारे ताहीं देण नै त्यार थे, क्यूँके के हम थारे तै भोत प्यारे करां सां।
9 For ye remember, brethren, our labor and toil; for working night and day, that we might not be burthensome to any of you, we preached among you the gospel of God.
हे बिश्वासी भाईयो, म्हारी कड़ी मेहनत नै याद राक्खो, हमनै ज्यांतै दिन-रात काम-धन्धा करदे होए, परमेसवर का सुसमाचार प्रचार करया, के थारे म्ह तै किसे पै बोझ ना बण जावां।
10 Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily, and justly, and unblameably we behaved towards you that believe:
थम अर परमेसवर भी इस बात के गवाह सों, के सारे बिश्वासी भाईयाँ कै गैल म्हारा सुभाव कितना सच्चा, धर्मी अर बेकसूर था।
11 as ye know likewise, how we exhorted and comforted every one of you, as a father his children;
थमनै बेरा सै के जिसा पिता अपणे बाळकां कै गेल्या बरताव करै सै, उस्से तरियां ए हम भी थारे म्ह तै हरेक ताहीं उपदेश देन्दे, अर शान्ति देन्दे, अर समझावां थे
12 and charged you, that ye should walk worthy of God, who hath called you to his kingdom and glory.
के थम इसा जीवन जिओ, जिसा परमेसवर चाहवै सै, जो थमनै अपणे राज्य अर महिमा म्ह बुलावै सै।
13 For this also we thank God continually, that when ye received the word of God, which ye heard from us, ye received it not as the word of men, but (as it is in truth) the word of God, which also worketh effectually in you that believe.
ज्यांतै हम भी परमेसवर का धन्यवाद सारी हाण करा सां के जिब म्हारै जरिये परमेसवर के सुसमाचार का वचन थमनै सुण्या, तो थमनै उस ताहीं माणसां का न्ही पर परमेसवर का वचन समझकै अपणाया; अर सच म्ह यो परमेसवर का वचन सै भी, अर यो सुसमाचार थारे म्ह काम करण लागरया सै, जो यीशु पै थम बिश्वास करो सो।
14 For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God, which are in Judea, in Christ Jesus, in that ye also have suffered the same things from your own countrymen, as they have from the Jews:
ज्यांतै थम, हे बिश्वासी भाईयो, परमेसवर की उस कलीसियाओं कै स्याम्ही दुख सहण लाग्गे जो यहूदिया परदेस म्ह सै, अर मसीह यीशु पै बिश्वास राक्खै सै, क्यूँके थमनै भी अपणे माणसां तै उसाए दुख पाया, जिसा उननै अपणे यहूदी माणसां तै पाया था।
15 who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; who are displeasing to God, and contrary to all men:
जिन नै प्रभु यीशु ताहीं अर नबियाँ ताहीं मार दिया। अर म्हारै ताहीं भी सताया, अर परमेसवर उनतै राज्जी कोनी, अर वे सारे माणसां का बिरोध करै सै।
16 forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, thus going on to fill up their sins perpetually: but wrath is coming upon them to extremity.
अर वे दुसरी जात्तां म्ह उनकै उद्धार कै खात्तर बात करण तै हमनै रोक्कै सै, अर वे पाप पै पाप करते जावै सै, जिब ताहीं के परमेसवर उननै दण्ड ना दे दे; अर इब परमेसवर उननै बड़ा भरी दण्ड देण आळा सै।
17 But we, brethren, being separated from you for a season, in person not in heart, endeavoured the more earnestly to see you again with much desire.
हे बिश्वासी भाईयो, जिब हम थोड़े बखत खात्तर थारे धोरै न्ही थे, पर हम सदा थारे बारें म्ह ए सोच्चा थे, तो हमनै और भी बड़ी लालसा तै थारे ताहीं मिलण की अर देखण की कोशिश करी।
18 Wherefore we would have come unto you (even I Paul) once and again; but Satan hindered us.
ज्यांतै हमनै (यानिके मुझ पौलुस नै) एक बर न्ही बल्के दो या तीन बार आण की कोशिश करी, पर शैतान हमनै रोक्के रहया।
19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of boasting? are not ye also among others in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
भला! म्हारी आस, खुशी या बड़ाई का ताज कौण सै? वो थमे होओगे जिब यीशु बोहड़ के आवैगें?
20 for ye are our glory and our joy.
म्हारी बड़ाई अर खुशी थमे सो।
