1 Corinthians 4
1 Let a man so account of us, as the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
எனவே, மக்கள் எங்களைக் கிறிஸ்துவின் ஊழியக்காரரென்றும், இறைவனின் இரகசியமான உண்மைகளைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துவதற்கு பொறுப்புடையவர்கள் என்றும் எண்ணவேண்டும்.
2 Now it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
எப்பொழுதும் பொறுப்பு ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டவர், உண்மையுள்ளவர் என்று நிரூபிக்கப்பட வேண்டியது அவசியம்.
3 But to me it is of very small moment to be judged by you, or by any man's judgement; nor indeed do I judge myself:
உங்களாலேயாவது அல்லது எந்த மனிதருடைய நீதிமன்றத்தினாலேயாவது, நான் நியாயந்தீர்க்கப்படுவதை அற்பமாகவே எண்ணுகிறேன்; நானும் என்னைக்குறித்து நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யவில்லை.
4 (for I am conscious to myself of nothing; though I am not hereby justified; ) but He that judgeth me is the Lord.
என் மனசாட்சி சுத்தமாயிருக்கிறது, அதனால் நான் குற்றமற்றவன் என்றில்லை. கர்த்தரே என்னை நியாயந்தீர்க்கிறவர்.
5 Wherefore judge nothing before the time; even until the Lord come, who will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every one have praise from God.
எனவே, குறிக்கப்பட்ட காலம் வருமுன்னே, நீங்கள் யாரையும் நியாயந்தீர்க்கவேண்டாம்; கர்த்தர் வரும்வரை காத்திருங்கள். அவர் இருளில் மறைந்திருப்பவைகளை வெளிச்சத்துக்குக் கொண்டுவருவார். மனிதருடைய உள்ளங்களின் நோக்கங்களையும் வெளியரங்கப்படுத்துவார். அப்பொழுது ஒவ்வொருவனும் தனக்குரிய புகழ்ச்சியை இறைவனிடத்திலிருந்து பெற்றுக்கொள்வான்.
6 These things, my brethren, I have by a figure transferred to myself, and Apollos, for your sakes, that ye may learn in us not to be wise above what is written, that ye may not be puffed up for one against another.
இப்பொழுதும் பிரியமானவர்களே, நான் உங்கள் நன்மையைக் கருத்தில்கொண்டே, என்னையும் அப்பொல்லோவையும் ஒரு எடுத்துக்காட்டாய் குறிப்பிட்டு, இவற்றை எழுதியிருக்கிறேன். இதனால், “எழுதியிருக்கிறதற்குமேல் போகவேண்டாம்” என்பதன் கருத்தை, நீங்கள் எங்களிடமிருந்து கற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள். அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் உங்களில் ஒருவனைப்பற்றி இன்னொருவர் இகழமாட்டீர்கள்.
7 For who maketh thee to differ? and what hast thou, which thou didst not receive? And if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory as if thou hadst not received it?
ஏனெனில், மற்ற எவரையும்விட உங்களை வித்தியாசப்படுத்துபவர் யார்? நீங்கள் இறைவனிடமிருந்து பெற்றுக்கொள்ளாத எது உங்களிடம் இருக்கிறது? நீங்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் பெற்றிருந்தால், அவற்றை ஒரு வரமாகப் பெற்றீர்கள் என்று எண்ணாமல், எப்படி பெருமைபாராட்டுகிறீர்கள்?
8 Ye are now full, ye are now rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I wish ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.
உங்களுக்குத் தேவையானவற்றையெல்லாம் ஏற்கெனவே நீங்கள் பெற்றுக்கொண்டீர்களோ! நீங்கள் செல்வந்தர்களாகிவிட்டீர்களோ! நீங்கள் எங்களை விட்டுவிட்டு அரசர்களாகிவிட்டீர்களோ! ஆனால் நாங்களோ அப்படியல்ல. நீங்கள் உண்மையாகவே அரசர்களாக இருக்கவேண்டும் என்பதே எங்கள் விருப்பம். அப்பொழுது நாங்களும் உங்களுடன் சேர்ந்து அரசாளலாமே.
9 For it seems to me that God hath as it were exhibited us the apostles last upon the stage as appointed to death; for we are made a spectacle to the world, and to angels and to men.
ஆனால் எனக்கோ, கொலைக்களத்திற்கு சாகும்படி கொண்டுசெல்லப்படுகிறவர்களின் வரிசையின் இறுதியில், அப்போஸ்தலர்களாகிய எங்களையும் இறைவன் நிறுத்தி, ஒரு காட்சிப் பொருளானோம் என காணப்படப்பண்ணினர். நாங்கள் முழு உலகத்திற்கும், இறைத்தூதர்களுக்கும், மனிதர்களுக்கும் ஒரு வேடிக்கையானோம்.
10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ: we are weak, but ye are strong: ye are honoured, but we are despised.
கிறிஸ்துவுக்காகவே நாங்கள் மூடர்களாயிருக்கிறோம். ஆனால், நீங்களோ கிறிஸ்துவில் எவ்வளவு ஞானமுள்ளவர்களாய் இருக்கிறீர்கள்! நாங்கள் பெலவீனர், நீங்களோ பெலசாலிகள்! நீங்கள் மதிக்கப்படுகிறீர்கள், நாங்களோ அவமதிக்கப்படுகிறோம்!
11 Even to this present time we suffer both hunger, and thirst, and nakedness, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling:
இந்த நேரத்திலும், நாங்கள் பசியும் தாகமும் உள்ளவர்களாயிருக்கிறோம். நாங்கள் பழைய உடைகளையே உடுத்திக்கொண்டும், கொடுமைப்படுத்தப்பட்டவர்களும், வீடற்றவர்களுமாய் இருக்கிறோம்.
12 and we labour working with our own hands. When we are reviled, we bless: when persecuted, we bear it: when defamed, we intreat.
நாங்கள் எங்கள் சொந்தக் கைகளினால் கடுமையாக உழைக்கிறோம். மற்றவர்கள் எங்களை சபிக்கும்போது, நாங்களோ ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறோம்; நாங்கள் துன்புறுத்தப்படும்போது பொறுத்துக்கொள்கிறோம்;
13 We are made as the filth of the world, and the refuse of all things to this day.
மற்றவர்கள் எங்களை அவதூறாய்ப் பேசுகிறபொழுது, நாங்கள் தயவுடன் பதிலளிக்கிறோம். நாங்கள் இதுவரை உலகத்தின் கழிவுப் பொருட்களாகவும், பூமியின் குப்பையாகவும் எண்ணப்படுகிறோம்.
14 I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I admonish you:
உங்களை வெட்கப்படுத்தும்படியாக நான் இவற்றை உங்களுக்கு எழுதவில்லை. ஆனால் என் அன்பான பிள்ளைகளென எண்ணி, உங்களை எச்சரிப்பதற்காகவே இதை எழுதுகிறேன்.
15 for if ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet ye have not many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you by the gospel.
கிறிஸ்துவில் உங்களுக்குப் பத்தாயிரம் வேதாகம ஆசிரியர்கள் இருக்கிறபோதிலும், உங்களுக்கு ஒரு தகப்பனே இருக்கிறார். நற்செய்தியின் மூலமாக நானே உங்களுக்குக் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்குள் தகப்பனானேன்.
16 I beseech you therefore, be ye imitators of me.
ஆகவே நீங்களும் என்னைப்போலவே நடந்துகொள்ள வேண்டுமென நான் உங்களை வேண்டிக்கொள்கிறேன்.
17 For this end have I sent unto you Timothy, who is my beloved son and faithful in the Lord, who will bring to your remembrance my ways in Christ, how I teach every where in every church.
இதற்காகவே, என் மகன் தீமோத்தேயுவை உங்களிடம் அனுப்பியுள்ளேன். அவன் எனக்கு அன்பானவன், அவன் கர்த்தரில் உண்மையுள்ளவன். அவன் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவில், என் வாழ்க்கை முறையை உங்களுக்கு ஞாபகப்படுத்துவான். என் வாழ்க்கைமுறை எல்லா இடங்களிலும், எல்லாத் திருச்சபைகளிலும் நான் போதித்து வருவதன்படி அமைந்திருக்கிறது.
18 Now some are puffed up, as if I would not come to you.
நான் உங்களிடம் மீண்டும் வரமாட்டேன் என்று எண்ணி, உங்களில் சிலர் அகந்தைகொண்டிருக்கிறீர்கள்.
19 But I will come to you soon, if the Lord please, and will know, not the speech of them that are puffed up, but the power:
ஆனால் கர்த்தருக்கு விருப்பமானால், நான் மிகவிரைவில் உங்களிடம் வருவேன். அப்பொழுது, இந்த அகந்தைகொண்டவர்கள் பேசுவதை மட்டுமல்ல, அவர்களுடைய பெலத்தையும் அறிந்துகொள்வேன்.
20 for the kingdom of God consisteth not in speech, but in power.
ஏனெனில், இறைவனின் அரசு பேச்சிலே அல்ல, பெலத்திலே இருக்கிறது.
21 What do ye chuse? that I should come to you with a rod? or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?
நீங்கள் எதை விரும்புகிறீர்கள்? நான் உங்களிடம் பிரம்புடன் வரவேண்டுமா? அல்லது அன்புடனும், சாந்தமுள்ள ஆவியுடனும் வரவேண்டுமா?
