1 Corinthians 16

1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the churches of Galatia, so also do ye.

இறைவனுடைய மக்களுக்காகக் காணிக்கை சேகரிப்பதைக் குறித்து நான் சொல்கிறதாவது: கலாத்தியாவிலுள்ள திருச்சபைகளுக்கு செய்யவேண்டும் என்று நான் சொன்னதை நீங்களும் செய்யுங்கள்.

2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you set apart something, putting it into the treasury, according as he is prospered: that there may be no need of collections, when I come.

ஒவ்வொரு வாரத்தின் முதல் நாளில் நீங்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும், அவரவருடைய வருமானத்துக்கு ஏற்றபடி, ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட தொகைப் பணத்தை சேர்த்து வைத்துக்கொள்ளும்படி. அதை சேமித்து வையுங்கள். அப்படிச் செய்தால், நான் வரும்போது பணம் சேகரிக்க வேண்டிய அவசியம் ஏற்படாது.

3 And when I am with you, whomsoever ye shall approve, I will send, with your letters, to carry your bounty to Jerusalem.

நான் அங்கு வரும்போது, நீங்கள் அங்கீகரிக்கும் மனிதருக்கு அறிமுகக் கடிதங்களைக் கொடுத்து, உங்களது நன்கொடையுடன் அவர்களை எருசலேமுக்கு அனுப்புவேன்.

4 And if it be requisite for me to go also, they shall go with me.

5 I will come to you, when I have passed through Macedonia; for I am to pass through Macedonia.

6 And perhaps I shall stay a while, or even pass the winter with you; that ye may forward me on my journey, whithersoever I go.

7 For I do not intend to see you now in my way, as I hope to stay some time with you, if the Lord permit.

8 But I shall stay at Ephesus till Pentecost. For a great and effectual door is opened to me,

9 though there are many opposers.

10 If Timothy should come, see that he be with you without fear: for he is employed in the work of the Lord, as I also am.

தீமோத்தேயு உங்களிடத்தில் வந்தால், அவன் உங்களுடன் இருக்கையில் பயமின்றி வசதியாய் இருக்கும்படி பார்த்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள். ஏனெனில், நான் செய்கிறதுபோலவே அவனும் கர்த்தருடைய ஊழியத்தைச் செய்கிறானே.

11 Let no one therefore despise him: but forward him on his journey in peace, that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brethren. As to our brother Apollos,

ஆகவே, ஒருவனும் அவனை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள மறுக்கக்கூடாது. அவன் என்னிடம் திரும்பிவரும்படி, அவனைச் சமாதானத்துடன் வழியனுப்பி வையுங்கள். மற்றச் சகோதரருடன், அவனையும் நான் எதிர்பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்.

12 I much importuned him to come to you with the brethren: but he was not at all willing to come now; though he will come when he has a favorable opportunity.

நம்முடைய சகோதரனான அப்பொல்லோவைக் குறித்து நான் சொல்கிறதாவது: மற்றச் சகோதரரோடு அவனும் உங்களிடத்திற்கு வர, அவனை நான் அதிகமாய் ஊக்குவித்தேன். ஆனால் இப்பொழுதோ, உங்களிடத்தில் வர அவனுக்கு விருப்பமில்லை. ஆனால், தக்க வாய்ப்பு கிடைக்கும்போது அவன் உங்களிடத்தில் வருவான்.

13 Be watchful, stand fast in the faith, behave like men, be strong:

14 and let all your affairs be carried on in love.

நீங்கள் செய்வதை எல்லாம் அன்பிலேயே செய்யுங்கள்.

15 I beseech you, brethren, (for ye know the family of Stephanas, that they are the first-fruits of Achaia, and

ஸ்தேவானுடைய குடும்பத்தினரே அகாயா நாட்டில் முதல் முதலாய் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டவர்கள். பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்குப் பணிசெய்வதற்கென அவர்கள் தங்களையே ஒப்புவித்திருக்கிறார்கள் என்பதையும் நீங்கள் அறிவீர்கள். பிரியமானவர்களே, இப்பொழுதும் நான் உங்களை வேண்டிக்கொள்கிறதாவது:

16 have set themselves to minister to the saints) that you also would be subservient to such, and to every one that worketh and laboureth with us.

இப்படிப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு மதிப்புக்கொடுத்து நடவுங்கள். கர்த்தருடைய ஊழியத்தில் அவர்களுடன் இணைந்து பிரயாசப்படுகிற ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் மதிப்புக்கொடுத்து நடவுங்கள்.

17 I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus: for what was wanting in you, they have made up.

ஸ்தேவானும், பொர்த்துனாத்தும், அகாயுவும் இங்கு வந்தபோது, நான் மிகவும் மகிழ்ச்சி அடைந்தேன். ஏனெனில், நீங்கள் இல்லாத குறையை அவர்கள் தீர்த்து வைத்தார்கள்.

18 For they have refreshed my spirit as well as yours: have a due regard therefore to such worthy persons.

அவர்கள் உங்களுடைய ஆவியை உற்சாகப்படுத்தியது போலவே, என்னுடைய ஆவியையும் உற்சாகப்படுத்தினார்கள். இப்படிப்பட்ட மனிதர்களை உயர்வாய் மதிக்கவேண்டும்.

19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla, with the church in their house, salute you in the Lord with much affection:

ஆசியா பகுதியிலுள்ள திருச்சபைகளும், உங்களுக்கும் வாழ்த்துதல்களைத் தெரிவிக்கிறார்கள். ஆக்கில்லாவும், பிரிஸ்கில்லாளும், அவர்களுடைய வீட்டில் கூடிவருகிற திருச்சபையோரும், கர்த்தருக்குள்ளான தங்கள் மனப்பூர்வமான வாழ்த்துதல்களைத் தெரிவிக்கிறார்கள்.

20 yea all the brethren salute you. Salute one another with an holy kiss.

இங்குள்ள எல்லாச் சகோதரரும் உங்களுக்கு வாழ்த்துதல்களைத் தெரிவிக்கிறார்கள். ஒருவரையொருவர் பரிசுத்த முத்தத்தோடு வாழ்த்துங்கள்.

21 The salutation of me Paul I write with my own hand.

பவுலாகிய நான், இந்த வாழ்த்துதலை என் சொந்தக் கையினாலேயே எழுதுகிறேன்.

22 If any one love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be made a curse.

யாராவது கர்த்தரில் அன்பாயிருக்காவிட்டால், அவன் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன். கர்த்தாவே வாரும்!

23 Maran-atha. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவின் கிருபை உங்களுடன் இருப்பதாக.

24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
