1 Corinthians 15
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached to you at first, which ye received, and wherein ye stand.
Şimdi, kardeşler, size bildirdiğim, sizin de kabul edip bağlı kaldığınız Müjde'yi anımsatmak istiyorum.
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye retain it as I preached it to you: unless indeed ye have believed in vain.
Size müjdelediğim söze sımsıkı sarılırsanız, onun aracılığıyla kurtulursunuz. Yoksa boşuna iman etmiş olursunuz.
3 For in the first place I delivered to you, that which I also received, to wit, that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures:
Aldığım bilgiyi size öncelikle ilettim: Kutsal Yazılar uyarınca Mesih günahlarımıza karşılık öldü, gömüldü ve Kutsal Yazılar uyarınca üçüncü gün ölümden dirildi.
4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day, according to the scriptures.
5 And that he was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve:
Kefas'a, sonra Onikiler'e göründü.
6 after that He appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain yet alive, but some are fallen asleep.
Daha sonra da beş yüzden çok kardeşe aynı anda göründü. Bunların çoğu hâlâ yaşıyor, bazılarıysa öldüler.
7 Afterwards He was seen by James, then by all the apostles.
Bundan sonra Yakup'a, sonra bütün elçilere, son olarak zamansız doğmuş bir çocuğa benzeyen bana da göründü.
8 And last of all He appeared to me also, as one born out of due time: for I am the lest of the apostles,
9 not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
Ben elçilerin en önemsiziyim. Tanrı'nın kilisesine zulmettiğim için elçi olarak anılmaya bile layık değilim.
10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his favor to me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all; yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
Ama şimdi neysem, Tanrı'nın lütfuyla öyleyim. O'nun bana olan lütfu boşa gitmedi. Elçilerin hepsinden çok emek verdim. Aslında ben değil, Tanrı'nın bende olan lütfu emek verdi.
11 Whether therefore I or they laboured most, thus we preach, and thus ye believed.
İşte, gerek benim yaydığım, gerek öbür elçilerin yaydığı ve sizin de iman ettiğiniz bildiri budur.
12 Now if it be preached that Christ is risen from the dead, how say some among you, that there is no resurrection of the dead?
Eğer Mesih'in ölümden dirildiği duyuruluyorsa, nasıl oluyor da aranızda bazıları ölüler dirilmez diyor?
13 for if there be no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen.
Ölüler dirilmezse, Mesih de dirilmemiştir.
14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
Mesih dirilmemişse, bildirimiz de imanınız da boştur.
15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses concerning God, for we have testified of God, that He raised up Christ; whom He did not raise up, if indeed the dead do not rise.
Bu durumda Tanrı'yla ilgili tanıklığımız da yalan demektir. Çünkü Tanrı'nın, Mesih'i dirilttiğine tanıklık ettik. Ama ölüler gerçekten dirilmezse, Tanrı Mesih'i de diriltmemiştir.
16 For if the dead rise not, then Christ is not raised:
Ölüler dirilmezse, Mesih de dirilmemiştir.
17 and if Christ be not risen, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
Mesih dirilmemişse imanınız yararsızdır, siz de hâlâ günahlarınızın içindesiniz.
18 Then they also that sleep in Christ, are perished.
Buna göre Mesih'e ait olarak ölmüş olanlar da mahvolmuşlardır.
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
Eğer yalnız bu yaşam için Mesih'e umut bağlamışsak, herkesten çok acınacak durumdayız.
20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and is become the first-fruits of them that slept:
Oysa Mesih, ölmüş olanların ilk örneği olarak ölümden dirilmiştir.
21 for as by man came death, by man cometh also the resurrection of the dead.
Ölüm bir insan aracılığıyla geldiğine göre, ölümden diriliş de bir insan aracılığıyla gelir.
22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
Herkes nasıl Adem'de ölüyorsa, herkes Mesih'te yaşama kavuşacak.
23 But each in their proper order: the first-fruits, Christ; afterwards they that are Christ's, at his coming.
Her biri sırası gelince dirilecek: İlk örnek olarak Mesih, sonra Mesih'in gelişinde Mesih'e ait olanlar.
24 Then will be the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God even the Father; when He shall have abolished all rule, and all authority, and power.
Bundan sonra Mesih her yönetimi, her hükümranlığı, her gücü ortadan kaldırıp egemenliği Baba Tanrı'ya teslim ettiği zaman son gelmiş olacak.
25 For he must reign till He hath put all his enemies under his feet.
Çünkü Tanrı bütün düşmanlarını ayakları altına serinceye dek O'nun egemenlik sürmesi gerekir.
26 The last enemy that is destroyed is death:
Ortadan kaldırılacak son düşman ölümdür.
27 for He hath put all things under his feet. But when He saith that all things are put under Him, it is plain that we are to except Him who put all things under Him.
Çünkü, “Tanrı her şeyi Mesih'in ayakları altına sererek O'na bağımlı kıldı.” “Her şey O'na bağımlı kılındı” sözünün, her şeyi Mesih'e bağımlı kılan Tanrı'yı içermediği açıktır.
28 And when all things shall be subjected to Him, then shall the Son also himself be subject to Him, that put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
Her şey Oğul'a bağımlı kılınınca, Oğul da her şeyi kendisine bağımlı kılan Tanrı'ya bağımlı olacaktır. Öyle ki, Tanrı her şeyde her şey olsun.
29 Besides, what shall they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why then are they baptized for the dead?
Diriliş yoksa, ölüler için vaftiz edilenler ne olacak? Ölüler gerçekten dirilmeyecekse, insanlar neden ölüler için vaftiz ediliyorlar?
30 And why are we in danger every hour?
Biz de neden her saat kendimizi tehlikeye atıyoruz?
31 I protest by your rejoicing, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, that I am even dying daily.
Kardeşler, sizinle ilgili olarak Rabbimiz Mesih İsa'da sahip olduğum övüncün hakkı için her gün ölüyorum.
32 If, to speak as a man, I fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage have I, if the dead rise not? Let us eat and drink, for to-morrow we die. ---
Eğer insansal nedenlerle Efes'te canavarlarla dövüştümse, bunun bana yararı ne? Eğer ölüler dirilmeyecekse, “Yiyelim içelim, nasıl olsa yarın öleceğiz.”
33 Be not deceived, bad conversations corrupt good morals.
Aldanmayın, “Kötü arkadaşlıklar iyi huyu bozar.”
34 Behave soberly, as ye ought to do, and sin not: for some of you have not the knowledge of God; to your shame I speak it.
Uslanıp kendinize gelin, artık günah işlemeyin. Bazılarınız Tanrı'yı hiç tanımıyor. Utanasınız diye söylüyorum bunları.
35 But some will say, How are the dead raised, and with what body do they come?
Ama biri çıkıp, “Ölüler nasıl dirilecek? Nasıl bir bedenle gelecekler?” diye sorabilir.
36 Silly creature! that which thou sowest, is not quickened, except it die first.
Ne akılsızca bir soru! Ektiğin tohum ölmedikçe yaşama kavuşmaz ki!
37 And as to what thou sowest, thou sowest not the very body that shall be produced, but a bare grain, it may be, of wheat, or any other corn:
Ekerken, oluşacak bitkinin kendisini değil, yalnızca tohumunu –buğday ya da başka bir bitkinin tohumunu– ekersin.
38 and God giveth it a body as He pleaseth, and to every one of the seeds it's own body.
Tanrı tohuma dilediği bedeni –her birine kendine özgü bedeni– verir.
39 All flesh is not the same kind of flesh: but there is one flesh of men, and another of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
Her canlının eti aynı değildir. İnsan eti başka, hayvan eti başka, kuş eti, balık eti başka başkadır.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and terrestrial bodies: but there is one glory of the celestial, and another of the terrestrial.
Göksel bedenler vardır, dünyasal bedenler vardır. Göksel olanların görkemi başka, dünyasal olanlarınki başkadır.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: and one star differeth from another star in glory.
Güneşin görkemi başka, ayın görkemi başka, yıldızların görkemi başkadır. Görkem bakımından yıldız yıldızdan farklıdır.
42 So also will be the resurrection of the dead. Our body is sown in corruption, it is raised incorruptible: it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory:
Ölülerin dirilişi de böyledir. Beden çürümeye mahkûm olarak gömülür, çürümez olarak diriltilir.
43 it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;
Düşkün olarak gömülür, görkemli olarak diriltilir. Zayıf olarak gömülür, güçlü olarak diriltilir.
44 it is sown an animal body, it is raised a spiritual body: for there is an animal body, and there is a spiritual body.
Doğal beden olarak gömülür, ruhsal beden olarak diriltilir. Doğal beden olduğu gibi, ruhsal beden de vardır.
45 And so it is written, "The first man Adam was made a living soul." But the last Adam is an enlivening spirit.
Nitekim şöyle yazılmıştır: “İlk insan Adem yaşayan can oldu.” Son Adem'se yaşam veren ruh oldu.
46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the animal; and afterwards the spiritual.
Önce ruhsal olan değil, doğal olan geldi. Ruhsal olan sonra geldi.
47 The first man being made out of the earth, was earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
İlk insan yerden, yani topraktandır. İkinci insan göktendir.
48 Such as the earthy was, such are they also that are earthy: and such, as is the heavenly, are they also that are heavenly.
Topraktan olan insan nasılsa, topraktan olanlar da öyledir. Göksel insan nasılsa, göksel olanlar da öyledir.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
Bizler topraktan olana nasıl benzediysek, göksel olana da benzeyeceğiz.
50 But this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor doth what is corruptible inherit incorruption.
Kardeşler, şunu demek istiyorum, et ve kan Tanrı'nın Egemenliği'ni miras alamaz. Çürüyen de çürümezliği miras alamaz.
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: we shall not all sleep; but we shall all be changed in a moment,
İşte size bir sır açıklıyorum. Hepimiz ölmeyeceğiz; son borazan çalınınca hepimiz bir anda, göz açıp kapayana dek değiştirileceğiz. Evet, borazan çalınacak, ölüler çürümez olarak dirilecek, ve biz de değiştirileceğiz.
52 in the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last trumpet (for the trumpet shall sound) and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed:
53 for this corruptible body must put on incorruption, and this mortal body must be clothed with immortality.
Çünkü bu çürüyen beden çürümezliği, bu ölümlü beden ölümsüzlüğü giyinmelidir.
54 And when this corruptible shall be clothed with incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the word that is written, "Death is swallowed up in victory."
Çürüyen ve ölümlü beden çürümezliği ve ölümsüzlüğü giyinince, “Ölüm yok edildi, zafer kazanıldı!” diye yazılmış olan söz yerine gelecektir.
“Ey ölüm, zaferin nerede? Ey ölüm, dikenin nerede?” (Hadēs g86)
56 the sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law:
Ölümün dikeni günahtır. Günah ise gücünü Kutsal Yasa'dan alır.
57 but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rabbimiz İsa Mesih aracılığıyla bizi zafere ulaştıran Tanrı'ya şükürler olsun!
58 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, since ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Bu nedenle, sevgili kardeşlerim, Rab yolunda verdiğiniz emeğin boşa gitmeyeceğini bilerek dayanın, sarsılmayın, Rab'bin işinde her zaman gayretli olun.
