1 Corinthians 15
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached to you at first, which ye received, and wherein ye stand.
இப்பொழுதும் பிரியமானவர்களே, நான் உங்களுக்குப் பிரசங்கித்த நற்செய்தியை நான் மீண்டும் உங்களுக்கு நினைவுபடுத்த விரும்புகிறேன். அதை நீங்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, அதிலேயே உறுதியாய் நிற்கிறீர்கள்.
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye retain it as I preached it to you: unless indeed ye have believed in vain.
நான் உங்களுக்குப் பிரசங்கித்த வார்த்தையில், நீங்கள் உறுதியாய் நின்றால், இந்த நற்செய்தியினால் நீங்கள் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவீர்கள். அப்படியில்லாவிட்டால், வீணாகவே நீங்கள் விசுவாசித்தீர்கள்.
3 For in the first place I delivered to you, that which I also received, to wit, that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures:
நான் பெற்றுக்கொண்டதும், மிக முக்கியமானதும் என்று கருதி உங்களுக்கு ஒப்படைத்ததாவது: வேதவசனத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறபடியே, கிறிஸ்து நமது பாவங்களுக்காக இறந்து.
4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day, according to the scriptures.
அவர் அடக்கம் செய்யப்பட்டு, வேதவசனத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறபடி, அவர் மூன்றாம் நாளில் உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்பட்டார்.
5 And that he was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve:
அவர் கேபாவுக்கு காட்சியளித்தார். பின்பு பன்னிரண்டு அப்போஸ்தலருக்கும் காட்சியளித்தார்.
6 after that He appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain yet alive, but some are fallen asleep.
அதற்குப் பின்பு, அவர் ஒரே நேரத்தில் ஐந்நூறுக்கும் அதிகமான சகோதரர்களுக்கும் காட்சியளித்தார். அவர்களில் பலர் இன்னும் உயிருடனேயே இருக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் சிலர் மரண நித்திரையடைந்து விட்டார்கள்.
7 Afterwards He was seen by James, then by all the apostles.
பின்பு அவர், யாக்கோபுக்கு காட்சியளித்தார். அதற்குப் பின்பு அவர் எல்லா அப்போஸ்தலர்களுக்கும் காட்சியளித்தார்.
8 And last of all He appeared to me also, as one born out of due time: for I am the lest of the apostles,
இறுதியாக, குறைமாதத்தில் பிறந்த பிள்ளை போன்ற எனக்குங்கூட காட்சியளித்தார்.
9 not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
ஏனெனில், அப்போஸ்தலரில் நானே மிகச்சிறியவன். நான் அப்போஸ்தலன் என்று அழைக்கப்படத் தகுதியுடையவனும் அல்ல. ஏனெனில் நான் இறைவனுடைய திருச்சபையைத் துன்புறுத்துகிறவனாய் இருந்தேனே.
10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his favor to me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all; yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
ஆனால் இறைவனுடைய கிருபையினாலேயே, நான் இப்பொழுது இந்நிலையில் இருக்கிறேன். அவர் எனக்குக் கொடுத்த கிருபை வீணாய்ப் போகவில்லை. மற்ற அப்போஸ்தலர் எல்லோரையும்விட, நான் அதிகம் பாடுபட்டு ஊழியம் செய்தேன். ஆனால், அந்த ஊழியத்தைச் செய்தது நான் அல்ல, எனக்குள் செயலாற்றுகின்ற இறைவனுடைய கிருபையே அதைச் செய்கிறது.
11 Whether therefore I or they laboured most, thus we preach, and thus ye believed.
எனவே நானாயிருந்தாலென்ன, அவர்களாயிருந்தாலென்ன, இந்த நற்செய்தியையே நாங்கள் எல்லோரும் பிரசங்கிக்கிறோம். இதையே நீங்கள் விசுவாசித்தீர்கள்.
12 Now if it be preached that Christ is risen from the dead, how say some among you, that there is no resurrection of the dead?
ஆனால், கிறிஸ்து இறந்தோரிலிருந்து உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்பட்டார் என்று பிரசங்கிக்கப்பட்டிருக்க, இறந்தோர் உயிர்த்தெழுவதில்லை என்று உங்களில் சிலர் எப்படிச் சொல்லலாம்?
13 for if there be no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen.
இறந்தோர் உயிர்த்தெழுவதில்லை என்றால், கிறிஸ்துவும் உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்படவில்லையே.
14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
கிறிஸ்து உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்படவில்லை என்றால், நாங்கள் பிரசங்கம் செய்வதும் வீண். உங்கள் விசுவாசமும் வீணானதே.
15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses concerning God, for we have testified of God, that He raised up Christ; whom He did not raise up, if indeed the dead do not rise.
அதுவுமல்லாமல், இறந்தவர்கள் உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்படவில்லை என்பது உண்மையானால், இறைவன் கிறிஸ்துவையும் உயிருடன் எழுப்பவில்லை என்றே அர்த்தமாகிறது. எனவே, இறைவன் கிறிஸ்துவை உயிருடன் எழுப்பினார் என்று நாங்கள் சாட்சி கூறியிருக்கிறபடியால், நாங்கள் இறைவனைப்பற்றி பொய்ச்சாட்சி சொல்கிறவர்களாய் காணப்படுவோமே.
16 For if the dead rise not, then Christ is not raised:
ஏனெனில், இறந்தோர் உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்படுகிறது இல்லையென்றால், கிறிஸ்துவும் உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்படவில்லை.
17 and if Christ be not risen, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
கிறிஸ்து உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்படவில்லை என்றால், உங்களுடைய விசுவாசமும் பயனற்றது; நீங்கள் இன்னும் உங்கள் பாவங்களிலேயே இருக்கிறீர்கள்.
18 Then they also that sleep in Christ, are perished.
அப்படியானால், கிறிஸ்துவில் மரண நித்திரையானவர்களுங்கூட அழிந்துபோனார்கள்.
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
இவ்வுலக வாழ்வுக்காக மாத்திரமே நாம் கிறிஸ்துவில் நம்பிக்கைகொண்டவர்களாய் இருந்தால், எல்லா மனிதருக்குள்ளும் நாமே மிகவும் பரிதாபத்திற்குள்ளானவர்கள் ஆவோம்.
20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and is become the first-fruits of them that slept:
ஆனால் உண்மையிலேயே கிறிஸ்து மரணத்திலிருந்து உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்பட்டிருக்கிறார். மரண நித்திரை அடைந்தவர்களில், அவரே முதற்கனி ஆவார்.
21 for as by man came death, by man cometh also the resurrection of the dead.
ஏனெனில் ஒரு மனிதனின் வழியாக மரணம் வந்தது போலவே, ஒரு மனிதனின் வழியாக இறந்தவர்களின் உயிர்த்தெழுதலும் வருகிறது.
22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
ஆதாமுக்குள் எல்லோரும் இறந்து போகிறதுபோல, கிறிஸ்துவில் எல்லோரும் உயிர்ப்பிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.
23 But each in their proper order: the first-fruits, Christ; afterwards they that are Christ's, at his coming.
ஆனால் ஒவ்வொருவரும் தங்களுக்குரிய ஒழுங்கு வரிசையின்படியே உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்படுவார்கள்: கிறிஸ்துவே முதற்கனி; அதற்குப் பின்பு அவர் மீண்டும் வரும்போது, அவருக்குரியவர்கள் உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்படுவார்கள்.
24 Then will be the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God even the Father; when He shall have abolished all rule, and all authority, and power.
அப்பொழுது முடிவுவரும். கிறிஸ்து எல்லா ஆட்சிகளையும், அதிகாரங்களையும், வல்லமைகளையும் அழித்துவிட்டு, பிதாவாகிய இறைவனிடம் அரசை ஒப்படைப்பார்.
25 For he must reign till He hath put all his enemies under his feet.
எனவே, எல்லாப் பகைவர்களையும் இறைவன் கிறிஸ்துவினுடைய கால்களின்கீழ் போடும் வரைக்கும், கிறிஸ்துவே ஆளுகை செய்யவேண்டும்.
26 The last enemy that is destroyed is death:
அழிக்கப்பட வேண்டிய கடைசிப் பகைவன், மரணமே.
27 for He hath put all things under his feet. But when He saith that all things are put under Him, it is plain that we are to except Him who put all things under Him.
ஏனெனில் இறைவன், “எல்லாவற்றையும்” அவருடைய பாதங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தினார் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறது. “எல்லாம்” அவருக்குக் கீழாக கொண்டுவரப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன என்று சொல்லும்போது, அது இறைவனை உள்ளடக்கவில்லை என்பது தெளிவாகின்றது. ஏனெனில், இறைவனே எல்லாவற்றையும் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தினார்.
28 And when all things shall be subjected to Him, then shall the Son also himself be subject to Him, that put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
அவர் இவற்றையெல்லாம் செய்தபின்பு, மகனாகிய அவரும் எல்லாவற்றையும் தனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தியவருக்குத் தன்னைக் கீழ்ப்படுத்துவார். எனவே, இறைவனே எல்லாவற்றிலும் எல்லாமாய் இருப்பார்.
29 Besides, what shall they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why then are they baptized for the dead?
உயிர்த்தெழுதல் இல்லையெனில், இறந்தவர்களின் சார்பாக திருமுழுக்கு பெற்றுக்கொள்கிறவர்கள் என்ன செய்வார்கள்? இறந்தவர்கள் உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்படுவதில்லை என்றால், இறந்தவர்களின் சார்பாக மற்றவர்கள் ஏன் திருமுழுக்கு பெற்றுக்கொள்கிறார்கள்?
30 And why are we in danger every hour?
நாங்களும் ஏன் ஒவ்வொரு மணிநேரமும் ஆபத்துக்கு உள்ளாகிறோம்?
31 I protest by your rejoicing, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, that I am even dying daily.
ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் நான் சாவை சந்திக்கிறேன். இது உண்மையே. நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவில் உங்கள்மேல் நான் கொண்டுள்ள பெருமையைப்போல், அதுவும் உண்மையே.
32 If, to speak as a man, I fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage have I, if the dead rise not? Let us eat and drink, for to-morrow we die. ---
நான் எபேசுவில் உலக வாழ்வுக்காக மாத்திரம் கொடிய மிருகங்களோடு போராடியிருந்தால், எனக்குக் கிடைத்த பலன் என்ன? இறந்தவர்கள் உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்படுவதில்லை என்றால், “நாமும் உண்போம் குடிப்போம், நாளைக்குச் சாவோம்” என்று சொல்லலாமே.
33 Be not deceived, bad conversations corrupt good morals.
ஏமாந்து போகவேண்டாம்: “கெட்டவர்களின் நட்பு நல்லொழுக்கங்களைக் கெடுத்துவிடும்.”
34 Behave soberly, as ye ought to do, and sin not: for some of you have not the knowledge of God; to your shame I speak it.
ஆகவே, புத்தியாய் நடவுங்கள். பாவம் செய்வதை நிறுத்துங்கள். உங்களில் சிலர் இறைவனைப்பற்றிய அறிவு இல்லாதவர்களாய் இருக்கிறார்கள். இதை உங்களுக்கு வெட்கம் உண்டாகும்படியே நான் சொல்கிறேன்.
35 But some will say, How are the dead raised, and with what body do they come?
ஆனால், “இறந்தவர்கள் எப்படி உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்படுவார்கள்? அவர்கள் எப்படியான உடலைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வார்கள்?” என்று சிலர் கேட்கலாம்.
36 Silly creature! that which thou sowest, is not quickened, except it die first.
இது மூடத்தனமான கேள்வியே. நீங்கள் விதைக்கின்ற விதை, முதலில் செத்தால்தானே அது முளைவிட்டு வளரும்.
37 And as to what thou sowest, thou sowest not the very body that shall be produced, but a bare grain, it may be, of wheat, or any other corn:
நீங்கள் விதைக்கும்போது, முழு வளர்ச்சி பெறப்போகும் செடியை நீங்கள் விதைக்கவில்லையே. நீங்கள் வெறும் விதையையே விதைக்கிறீர்கள். அது கோதுமையாகவோ, அல்லது வேறு தானியமாகவோ இருக்கலாம்.
38 and God giveth it a body as He pleaseth, and to every one of the seeds it's own body.
இறைவனே தாம் தீர்மானித்தபடி, அதற்கு உடலைக் கொடுக்கிறார். ஒவ்வொருவிதமான விதைக்கும், அதற்குச் சொந்தமான உடலை அவர் கொடுக்கிறார்.
39 All flesh is not the same kind of flesh: but there is one flesh of men, and another of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
உயிரினங்களின் சதைகள் எல்லாம் ஒரே விதமானவை அல்ல: மனித உடலின் சதை ஒரு விதமானது, மிருகங்களுக்கு ஒருவிதமும், பறவைகளுக்கு இன்னொரு விதமும், மீன்களுக்கு மற்றொரு விதமாகவும் சதையுள்ளது.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and terrestrial bodies: but there is one glory of the celestial, and another of the terrestrial.
வானுலக உருவங்களும் உண்டு, பூவுலக உருவங்களும் உண்டு. வானுலக உருவங்களின் சிறப்பு ஒரு விதமானது, பூவுலக உருவங்களின் சிறப்பு இன்னொரு விதமானது.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: and one star differeth from another star in glory.
சூரியனின் சிறப்பு ஒரு விதமானது, சந்திரனின் சிறப்பு மற்றொரு விதமானது, நட்சத்திரங்களின் சிறப்பும் இன்னொரு விதமானது; நட்சத்திரங்களும்கூட சிறப்பில் ஒன்றிலிருந்து ஒன்று வேறுபடுகிறது.
42 So also will be the resurrection of the dead. Our body is sown in corruption, it is raised incorruptible: it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory:
இறந்தவர்கள் உயிருடன் எழுப்பப்படும்போது, இவ்விதமாகவே இருக்கும். புதைக்கப்படும் உடல் அழிவுக்குரியது, அது அழியாமைக்குரியதாய் எழுப்பப்படுகிறது.
43 it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;
அது மதிப்பற்றதாய் புதைக்கப்படுகிறது, மகிமையில் எழுப்பப்படுகிறது. அது பலவீனமானதாய் புதைக்கப்படுகிறது, பலமுள்ளதாய் எழுப்பப்படுகிறது.
44 it is sown an animal body, it is raised a spiritual body: for there is an animal body, and there is a spiritual body.
அது இயற்கை உடலாய்ப் புதைக்கப்படுகிறது, ஆவிக்குரிய உடலாய் எழுப்பப்படுகிறது. மனிதனுக்கு இயற்கை உடல் இருப்பதுபோலவே, ஆவிக்குரிய உடலும் இருக்கிறது.
45 And so it is written, "The first man Adam was made a living soul." But the last Adam is an enlivening spirit.
ஏனெனில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறபடி: “முதல் மனிதனாகிய ஆதாம் உயிருள்ளவனானான்”; கடைசி ஆதாமோ, உயிர்கொடுக்கும் ஆவியானார்.
46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the animal; and afterwards the spiritual.
முதலில் வந்தது ஆவிக்குரிய உடல் அல்ல, மனிதனின் இயற்கை உடலே. பின்பே ஆவிக்குரிய உடல் வந்தது.
47 The first man being made out of the earth, was earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
முதல் மனிதன் பூமியின் புழுதியினால் ஆனவன். இரண்டாவது வந்த மனிதரோ, பரலோகத்திலிருந்து வந்தவர்.
48 Such as the earthy was, such are they also that are earthy: and such, as is the heavenly, are they also that are heavenly.
பூமியின் மனிதன் எப்படியோ, பூமியைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களும் அப்படியே; பரலோகத்திலிருந்து வந்தவரைப் போலவே, பரலோகத்துக்குரியவர்களும் இருக்கிறார்கள்.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
நாம் பூமியிலிருந்து படைக்கப்பட்ட மனிதனின் தன்மையை உடையவர்களாய் இருக்கிறது போலவே, நாம் பரலோகத்திற்குரிய மனிதரின் தன்மையையும் பெறுவோம்.
50 But this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor doth what is corruptible inherit incorruption.
பிரியமானவர்களே, நான் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கிறதாவது, மாம்சமும், இரத்தமும் இறைவனுடைய அரசை உரிமையாகப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வதில்லை. அழிவுக்குரியது அழியாமையை உரிமையாகப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள முடியாது.
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: we shall not all sleep; but we shall all be changed in a moment,
கேளுங்கள், நான் உங்களுக்கு ஒரு இரகசியத்தைச் சொல்கிறேன்: நாம் எல்லோரும் மரண நித்திரையடைவதில்லை. நாம் எல்லோரும் மாற்றமடைவோம்.
52 in the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last trumpet (for the trumpet shall sound) and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed:
கடைசி எக்காளம் தொனிக்கும்போது, கண்ணிமைக்கும் ஒரு நொடிப்பொழுதில் இது நடைபெறும். ஏனெனில், எக்காளம் தொனிக்கும்போது, இறந்து போனவர்கள் அழியாமையுடன் எழுப்பப்படுவார்கள். அப்பொழுது நாமும் மாற்றமடைவோம்.
53 for this corruptible body must put on incorruption, and this mortal body must be clothed with immortality.
ஏனெனில் அழிவுக்குரியது தன்னை அழியாமையினால் உடுத்திக்கொள்ளவேண்டும். சாகும் தன்மையுடையது சாகாநிலையைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
54 And when this corruptible shall be clothed with incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the word that is written, "Death is swallowed up in victory."
அழிவுக்குரியது அழியாமையை அணிந்துகொள்ளும்போதும், சாகும் தன்மையுள்ளது சாகாமையைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போதும், எழுதப்பட்ட வசனங்கள் இவ்வாறு நிறைவேறும்: “மரணம் வெற்றியினால் விழுங்கப்பட்டது.”
“மரணமே, உன் வெற்றி எங்கே? மரணமே, துன்புறுத்தும் உன் கொடுக்கு எங்கே?” (Hadēs g86)
56 the sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law:
மரணத்தின் கொடுக்கு பாவம். பாவத்திற்கு பெலன் கொடுப்பது மோசேயின் சட்டமே.
57 but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
ஆனால் இறைவனுக்கே நன்றி, அவரே நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் மூலமாய் நமக்கு வெற்றியைக் கொடுக்கிறார்.
58 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, since ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
ஆகவே பிரியமானவர்களே! உறுதியாய் நில்லுங்கள். எதுவும் உங்களை அசைக்கிறதற்கு இடங்கொடாதேயுங்கள். கர்த்தருடைய பணிக்கே எப்பொழுதும் உங்களை முற்றுமாய் ஒப்புக்கொடுங்கள். ஏனெனில், கர்த்தரில் உங்கள் உழைப்பு வீணாகப் போகாது என்பது உங்களுக்குத் தெரியுமே.
