< Psalms 83 >
1 A song. A Psalm by Asaph. God, don’t keep silent. Don’t keep silent, and don’t be still, God.
Asaph kah Tingtoeng Laa Pathen aw, nang taengah dingsueknah tal nim. Pathen aw omlip boel lamtah mong boeh.
2 For, behold, your enemies are stirred up. Those who hate you have lifted up their heads.
Na thunkha rhoek loh hue a sak tih na lunguet rhoek loh lu a dangrhoek uh soeh ke.
3 They conspire with cunning against your people. They plot against your cherished ones.
Na pilnam te baecenol neh muet uh tih na khoem rhoek taengah uento uh thae.
4 “Come,” they say, “let’s destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”
Anmih vik loh, “Halo uh lamtah namtom bangla amih ke thup sih. Te daengah ni Israel ming a thoelh uh voel pawt eh?,” a ti uh.
5 For they have conspired together with one mind. They form an alliance against you.

6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagrites;
Edom dap rhoek neh Moab Ishmael, Hagri,
7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
Gebal, Ammon, Philistia Amalek, neh Tyre kah khosa hmaih rhoek,
8 Assyria also is joined with them. They have helped the children of Lot. (Selah)
Amih te Assyria loh a koei pataeng tih Lot koca ham bantha la coeng uh. (Selah)
9 Do to them as you did to Midian, as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river Kishon;
Amih te Kishon soklong kah Midian, Sisera neh Jabin bangla saii lah.
10 who perished at Endor, who became as dung for the earth.
Endor ah mitmoeng uh tih diklai ah aek la poeh uh.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
Amih kah hlangcong rhoek te Oreb neh Zeeb, Zebah bangla, a boeimang boeih te Zalmunna bangla khueh lah.
12 who said, “Let’s take possession of God’s pasture lands.”
Amih loh, “Pathen kah toitlim te mamih ham huul uh sih,” a ti uh.
13 My God, make them like tumbleweed, like chaff before the wind.
Ka Pathen aw amih te humhae bangla, khohli hmai kah divawt bangla khueh lah.
14 As the fire that burns the forest, as the flame that sets the mountains on fire,
Hmai loh duup a dom tih hmaisai loh tlang a hlawp bangla han coeng sak.
15 so pursue them with your tempest, and terrify them with your storm.
Amih te na hlipuei neh hloem van lamtah amih te na cangpalam neh let sak lah.
16 Fill their faces with confusion, that they may seek your name, LORD.
Amih maelhmai te yah bai lamtah BOEIPA nang ming te toem uh saeh.
17 Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever. Yes, let them be confounded and perish;
Amih te yahpok uh saeh lamtah let uh saeh. A yoeyah la a hmai tal uh saeh lamtah milh uh saeh.
18 that they may know that you alone, whose name is the LORD, are the Most High over all the earth.
