< Psalms 75 >
1 For the Chief Musician. To the tune of “Do Not Destroy.” A Psalm by Asaph. A song. We give thanks to you, God. We give thanks, for your Name is near. Men tell about your wondrous works.
Aka mawt ham Asaph kah tingtoenglung “Phae boeh “Laa Pathen namah te kan uem uh. Na ming neh aka yoei loh, namah kah khobaerhambae, a thui uh dongah kan uem uh.
2 When I choose the appointed time, I will judge blamelessly.
Khoning ka khuen te khaw, kamah loh vanatnah neh lai ka tloek.
3 The earth and all its inhabitants quake. I firmly hold its pillars. (Selah)
Diklai neh a khuikah khosa boeih a paci vaengah, tung ka moem. (Selah)
4 I said to the arrogant, “Don’t boast!” I said to the wicked, “Don’t lift up the horn.
Aka yan rhoek khaw yan uh boeh, halang rhoek te na ki pomsang boeh.
5 Don’t lift up your horn on high. Don’t speak with a stiff neck.”
“Na ki a sang la na pomsang tih na rhawn neh mangkhak la cal boeh,” ka ti nah.
6 For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor yet from the south, comes exaltation.
Pomsang ham te khothoeng lamkah khaw, khotlak lamkah khaw, om pawt tih, khosoek lamkah moenih.
7 But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another.
Tedae lai aka tloek Pathen loh, pakhat te a kunyun sak tih, pakhat te a pomsang.
8 For in the LORD’s hand there is a cup, full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours it out. Indeed the wicked of the earth drink and drink it to its very dregs.
BOEIPA kut ah boengloeng om tih, misurtui te homtui neh a bae la hom. Tekah te a hawk vaengah, diklai halang boeih loh a ok uh tih, a sampa khaw a caep uh.
9 But I will declare this forever: I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
Te dongah kai loh kumhal ah ka doek vetih, Jakob Pathen te ka tingtoeng ni.
10 I will cut off all the horns of the wicked, but the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.
Te vaengah halang rhoek kah a ki boeih te ka rhet pah vetih, aka dueng rhoek kah a ki te a pomsang uh ni.
