< Psalms 64 >

1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. Hear my voice, God, in my complaint. Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
David ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. O! Mawu, ɖo tom, esi meɖe nye kuxiwo na wò; kpɔ nye agbe ta tso futɔ siwo le ŋɔdzi dom nam la ƒe asi me.
2 Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy crowd of the ones doing evil;
Ɣlam tso ame vɔ̃ɖiwo ƒe nugbeɖoɖo kple ame vlo mawo ƒe howɔwɔ me.
3 who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and aim their arrows, deadly words,
Wonyrea woƒe aɖewo abe yi ene, eye wodzidzea woƒe nyawo ɖe ame dzi abe aŋutrɔ siwo nu aɖi le la ene.
4 to shoot innocent men from ambushes. They shoot at him suddenly and fearlessly.
Wodea xa hedaa aŋutrɔ ame maɖifɔ la, eye wodanɛ zi ɖeka vɔvɔ̃manɔŋutɔe.
5 They encourage themselves in evil plans. They talk about laying snares secretly. They say, “Who will see them?”
Wodea dzi ƒo na wo nɔewo le woƒe nu vɔ̃ɖi ɖoɖowo me, woƒoa nu tso ale si woatre mɔ ɖe vivime la ŋuti gblɔna be, “Ame kae le ekpɔ ge?”
6 They plot injustice, saying, “We have made a perfect plan!” Surely man’s mind and heart are cunning.
Woɖoa nu vɔ̃ɖi hegblɔna le eŋuti be, “Míewɔ ɖoɖo deŋgɔ la vɔ!” Vavãe, ame ƒe susu kple dzi me nye ayenuwɔƒe,
7 But God will shoot at them. They will be suddenly struck down with an arrow.
gake Mawu ada aŋutrɔ wo eye wòalɔ wo zi ɖeka kpoyi woamu adze anyi.
8 Their own tongues shall ruin them. All who see them will shake their heads.
Ana woawo ŋutɔ ƒe aɖe nade wo nya me eye wòahe wo ade tsɔtsrɔ̃ me. Ame siwo katã akpɔ wo la aʋuʋu ta ɖe wo ŋu fewuɖutɔe.
9 All mankind shall be afraid. They shall declare the work of God, and shall wisely ponder what he has done.
Tete vɔvɔ̃ aɖo amegbetɔƒomea katã; woado Mawu ƒe dɔwɔwɔwo ɖe dzi, eye woade ŋugble le nu si wòwɔ la ŋuti.
10 The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall take refuge in him. All the upright in heart shall praise him!
Ame dzɔdzɔe akpɔ dzidzɔ le Yehowa me, eye wòasii atso. Ame siwo katã dza le woƒe dzi me la akafui!
