Luke 2
1 Now in those days, a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be enrolled.
ಆ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡೀ ರೋಮನ್ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಗಣತಿಯಾಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೈಸರ್ ಔಗುಸ್ತನಿಂದ ಶಾಸನವು ಹೊರಟಿತು.
2 This was the first enrollment made when Quirinius was governor of Syria.
ಕುರೇನ್ಯನು ಸಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಈ ಜನಗಣತಿಯು ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಸಾರಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
3 All went to enroll themselves, everyone to his own city.
ಆಗ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರುಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಖಲೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು.
4 Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to David’s city, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David,
ಯೋಸೇಫನು ದಾವೀದನ ಕುಟುಂಬದವನೂ ವಂಶದವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅವನು ಸಹ ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಪ್ರಾಂತದ ನಜರೇತೆಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಯೂದಾಯ ಪ್ರಾಂತದ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮ್ ಎಂಬ ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.
5 to enroll himself with Miriam, who was pledged to be married to him as wife, being pregnant.
ಅವನು ತನಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿದ್ದ ಮತ್ತು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮರಿಯಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜನಗಣತಿಯ ದಾಖಲೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋದನು.
6 While they were there, the day had come for her to give birth.
ಅವರು ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾಗ, ಆಕೆಗೆ ಹೆರಿಗೆಯ ಕಾಲ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿತು.
7 She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn.
ಮರಿಯಳು ತನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲು ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತು, ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತಿ, ಛತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳವಿಲ್ಲವಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಶಿಶುವನ್ನು ದನದ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗಿಸಿದಳು.
8 There were shepherds in the same country staying in the field, and keeping watch by night over their flock.
ಅದೇ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುರುಬರು ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಹಿಂಡನ್ನು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
9 Behold, an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.
ಆಗ ಕರ್ತದೇವರ ದೂತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾದನು. ಕರ್ತದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯು ಅವರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸಿತು, ಅವರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಹೆದರಿದರು.
10 The angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people.
ಆ ದೂತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮಹಾ ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನುಂಟು ಮಾಡುವ ಶುಭಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
11 For there is born to you today, in David’s city, a Savior, who is Messiah the Lord.
ಅದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ಈ ದಿನ ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಒಬ್ಬ ರಕ್ಷಕರು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ಆಗಿರುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ.
12 This is the sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth, lying in a feeding trough.”
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಿಂದ ಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಶಿಶುವು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕಾಣುವಿರಿ. ಇದೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಗುರುತು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
13 Suddenly, there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army praising God and saying,
ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಆ ದೂತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಪರಲೋಕ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಸಮೂಹವು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು:
14 “Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace, good will toward men.”
“ಮಹೋನ್ನತದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆ, ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ, ಮಾನವರಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ.”
15 When the angels went away from them into the sky, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem, now, and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”
ದೇವದೂತರು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಪರಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುರುಬರು, “ದೇವರು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಈಗಲೇ ಬೇತ್ಲೆಹೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನೋಡೋಣ,” ಎಂದು ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
16 They came with haste and found both Miriam and Joseph, and the baby was lying in the feeding trough.
ಅವರು ಅವಸರದಿಂದ ಹೋಗಿ ಮರಿಯಳನ್ನೂ ಯೋಸೇಫನನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಗಿದ್ದ ಶಿಶುವನ್ನು ಕಂಡರು.
17 When they saw it, they publicized widely the saying which was spoken to them about this child.
ಅನಂತರ, ಈ ಶಿಶುವಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ತಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದ ದೇವದೂತನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಮಾಡಿದರು.
18 All who heard it wondered at the things which were spoken to them by the shepherds.
ಕುರುಬರು ಹೇಳಿದ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
19 But Miriam kept all these sayings, pondering them in her heart.
ಆದರೆ ಮರಿಯಳು ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಆಲೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು.
20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, just as it was told them.
ತಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಕುರುಬರು ತಾವು ಕೇಳಿ, ಕಂಡ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಹೋದರು.
21 When eight days were fulfilled for the circumcision of the child, his name was called Yeshua, which was given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
ಶಿಶುವಿಗೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ಎಂಟನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಮರಿಯಳು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ ದೂತನು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಂತೆ “ಯೇಸು” ಎಂದು ನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
22 When the days of their purification according to the Torah of Moses were fulfilled, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord
ಮೋಶೆಯ ನಿಯಮದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮರಿಯಳಿಗೆ ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಣದ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಮುಗಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಮತ್ತು ಮರಿಯಳು ಶಿಶುವನ್ನು ಕರ್ತದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ತಂದರು.
23 (as it is written in the Torah of the Lord, “Every male who opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord”),
ಕರ್ತದೇವರ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವಂತೆ, “ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಗಂಡು ಮಗು ಕರ್ತದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು,”
24 and to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the Torah of the Lord, “A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.”
ಎಂತಲೂ, “ಒಂದು ಜೊತೆ ಬೆಳವಕ್ಕಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಎರಡು ಪಾರಿವಾಳದ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಬಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು,” ಎಂತಲೂ ಕರ್ತದೇವರ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
25 Behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. This man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was on him.
ಆಗ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೂ ಭಕ್ತನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸುವ ಒಬ್ಬರ ಬರುವಿಕೆಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನತೆ ಅವನ ಮೇಲಿತ್ತು.
26 It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Messiah.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಅವನು ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿರುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟನೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.
27 He came in the Spirit into the temple. When the parents brought in the child, Yeshua, that they might do concerning him according to the requirement of the Torah,
ಅವನು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಅಂಗಳದೊಳಗೆ ಬಂದನು, ಆಗ ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಲು ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳು ಶಿಶು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೆ ತಂದರು.
28 then he received him into his arms and blessed God, and said,
ಆಗ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನು ಶಿಶುವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಹೀಗೆಂದನು:
29 “Now you are releasing your servant, Master, according to your word, in peace;
“ಸರ್ವೇಶ್ವರರಾದ ಕರ್ತದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಾಗ್ದಾನದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಾಸನನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ಈಗ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿರಿ.
30 for my eyes have seen your salvation,
ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡವು,
31 which you have prepared before the face of all peoples;
ಈ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ನೀವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ:
32 a light for revelation to the nations, and the glory of your people Israel.”
ಅದು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲದವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯ ಬೆಳಕೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಜೆಯಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯೂ ಆಗಿದೆ.”
33 Joseph and his mother were marveling at the things which were spoken concerning him.
ಶಿಶುವಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಶುವಿನ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
34 Simeon blessed them, and said to Miriam, his mother, “Behold, this child is appointed for the falling and the rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which is spoken against.
ಅನಂತರ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ, ಶಿಶುವಿನ ತಾಯಿ ಮರಿಯಳಿಗೆ, “ಇಗೋ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಬೀಳುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಏಳುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಈ ಮಗು ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿದೆ, ಜನರು ಎದುರು ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಮಗು ಗುರುತಾಗಿರುವದು.
35 Yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”
ಹೀಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಹೃದಯಗಳ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗುವವು. ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಸಹ ಖಡ್ಗವು ತಿವಿಯುವುದು” ಎಂದನು.
36 There was one Hannah, a prophetess, the daughter of Penuel, of the tribe of Asher (she was of a great age, having lived with a husband seven years from her virginity,
ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶೇರನ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಫನೂಯೇಲನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಅನ್ನಳೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಬಹು ಮುಪ್ಪಿನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿನಿಯಿದ್ದಳು. ಅವಳು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಗಂಡನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಏಳು ವರ್ಷ ಬಾಳಿದ್ದಳು.
37 and she had been a widow for about eighty-four years), who didn’t depart from the temple, worshiping with fastings and petitions night and day.
ಅವಳು ಎಂಬತ್ತನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷ ವಿಧವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗದೆ ಉಪವಾಸಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಹಗಲೂ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು.
38 Coming up at that very hour, she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of him to all those who were looking for redemption in Jerusalem.
ಆ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ನಳು ಬಂದು, ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಮೋಚನೆಗಾಗಿ ಎದುರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರೆಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶಿಶುವಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದಳು.
39 When they had accomplished all things that were according to the Torah of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city, Nazareth.
ಯೋಸೇಫನೂ ಮರಿಯಳೂ ಕರ್ತದೇವರ ನಿಯಮದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ಊರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಗಲಿಲಾಯದ ನಜರೇತಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದರು.
40 The child was growing, and was becoming strong in spirit, being filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.
ಆ ಶಿಶುವು ಬೆಳೆದು ಬಲಗೊಂಡು; ಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಶಿಶುವಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇತ್ತು.
41 His parents went every year to Jerusalem at the feast of the Passover.
ಯೇಸುವಿನ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳು ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷವೂ ಪಸ್ಕಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
42 When he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast;
ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ವರ್ಷವಾದಾಗ, ಪದ್ಧತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರು ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು.
43 and when they had fulfilled the days, as they were returning, the boy Yeshua stayed behind in Jerusalem. Joseph and his mother didn’t know it,
ಅವರು ಆ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಬರುವಾಗ ಬಾಲಕ ಯೇಸು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಉಳಿದದ್ದು, ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
44 but supposing him to be in the company, they went a day’s journey; and they looked for him among their relatives and acquaintances.
ಯೇಸು ಗುಂಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಿರಬಹುದೆಂದು ಅವರು ಭಾವಿಸಿ, ಒಂದು ದಿನದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಳಗದವರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪರಿಚಿತರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬಾಲಕ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದರು.
45 When they didn’t find him, they returned to Jerusalem, looking for him.
ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹೋದುದರಿಂದ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾ ಪುನಃ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದರು.
46 After three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the middle of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions.
ಮೂರು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡರು. ಬೋಧಕರ ನಡುವೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು, ಬಾಲಕ ಯೇಸು ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ, ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಇರುವುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕಂಡರು.
47 All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.
ಯೇಸು ಆಡಿದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವರ ಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೂ ಉತ್ತರಗಳಿಗೂ ಬೆರಗಾದರು.
48 When they saw him, they were astonished; and his mother said to him, “Son, why have you treated us this way? Behold, your father and I were anxiously looking for you.”
ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟರು. ಆತನ ತಾಯಿಯು, “ಮಗು, ನೀನು ನಮಗೆ ಹೀಗೇಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ? ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೂ ನಾನೂ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಕಳವಳಗೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದೆವು,” ಎಂದಳು.
49 He said to them, “Why were you looking for me? Didn’t you know that I must be in my Father’s house?”
ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದ್ದೇಕೆ? ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?” ಎಂದರು.
50 They didn’t understand the saying which he spoke to them.
ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಅವರು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
51 And he went down with them and came to Nazareth. He was subject to them, and his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
ಬಳಿಕ ಯೇಸು ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಜರೇತಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಳು.
52 And Yeshua increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
ಯೇಸು ಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದೇಹಬಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬೆಳೆದು, ದೇವರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೊರೆಯಿತು.
