Job 11
1 Then Zophar, the Naamathite, answered,
ಆಗ ನಾಮಾಥ್ಯನಾದ ಚೋಫರನು ಹೀಗೆಂದನು:
2 “Shouldn’t the multitude of words be answered? Should a man full of talk be justified?
“ಬಹಳ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡಬಾರದೋ? ಬಾಯಿ ಬಡುಕನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ಎನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನೋ?
3 Should your boastings make men hold their peace? When you mock, will no man make you ashamed?
ನಿನ್ನ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಮೌನವಾಗಿರಬೇಕೋ? ನೀನು ಗೇಲಿ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಯಾವನೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
4 For you say, ‘My doctrine is pure. I am clean in your eyes.’
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀನು, ‘ನನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಲ್ಲದ್ದು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ,’ ಎಂದು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೀ.
5 But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against you,
ಆಹಾ, ದೇವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು,
6 that he would show you the secrets of wisdom! For true wisdom has two sides. Know therefore that God exacts of you less than your iniquity deserves.
ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದರೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು, ನಿಜ ಜ್ಞಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಎರಡು ಬದಿಗಳಿವೆ; ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ.
7 “Can you fathom the mystery of God? Or can you probe the limits of the Almighty?
“ನೀನು ದೇವರ ರಹಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿಯಾ? ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರ ಮಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾದೀತೇ?
8 They are high as heaven. What can you do? They are deeper than Sheol. What can you know? (Sheol h7585)
ಅದು ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿದೆ; ಆಗ ನೀನೇನು ಮಾಡುವಿ? ಅದು ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಆಳವಾಗಿದೆ; ಆಗ ನೀನೇನು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ? (Sheol h7585)
9 Its measure is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
ಅದರ ಅಳತೆ ಭೂಮಿಗಿಂತ ಉದ್ದವೂ, ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಅಗಲವೂ ಆಗಿದೆ.
10 If he passes by, or confines, or convenes a court, then who can oppose him?
“ದೇವರು ಬಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟರೂ, ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೆ ಕರೆದರೂ, ದೇವರನ್ನು ತಡೆಯುವವರು ಯಾರು?
11 For he knows false men. He sees iniquity also, even though he doesn’t consider it.
ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ದೇವರು ಮೋಸಗಾರರನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ದೇವರು ದುಷ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೋ?
12 An empty-headed man becomes wise when a man is born as a wild donkey’s colt.
ಒಂದು ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆ ಮರಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲವೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದಡ್ಡ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.
13 “If you set your heart aright, stretch out your hands toward him.
“ಆದರೂ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಚಾಚಿ,
14 If iniquity is in your hand, put it far away. Don’t let unrighteousness dwell in your tents.
ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ದೂರಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟು, ದುಷ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಲು ಅನುಮತಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ,
15 Surely then you will lift up your face without spot. Yes, you will be steadfast, and will not fear,
ನೀನು ದೋಷದಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತುವಿ; ಹೌದು, ನೀನು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಹೆದರದೆ ಇರುವಿ.
16 for you will forget your misery. You will remember it like waters that have passed away.
ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಡುವಿ; ಹರಿದುಹೋದ ನೀರಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ.
17 Life will be clearer than the noonday. Though there is darkness, it will be as the morning.
ನಿನ್ನ ಜೀವಮಾನವು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿಸುವುದು; ನಿನ್ನ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯು ಬೆಳಗಿನಂತೆ ಇರುವುದು.
18 You will be secure, because there is hope. Yes, you will search, and will take your rest in safety.
ನೀನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆಯಿಂದ ಇರುವಿ; ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯೋಚಿಸಿ ಭರವಸೆಯಿಂದ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ.
19 Also you will lie down, and no one will make you afraid. Yes, many will court your favor.
ನೀನು ಮಲಗಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಯಾರೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸರು; ಅನೇಕರು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವರು.
20 But the eyes of the wicked will fail. They will have no way to flee. Their hope will be the giving up of the spirit.”
ಆದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಕುಂದುವವು; ಅವರು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಪ್ರಾಣಬಿಡಬೇಕೆಂಬುದೇ ಅವರ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದು.”
