< 1 Corinthians 5 >
1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that one has his father’s wife.
Nnansa yi wɔkeka se aguaman a morebɔ wɔ asafo no mu no yɛ hu a abosonsomfo mpo renyɛ saa. Mate mpo sɛ obi afa nʼagya yere.
2 You are arrogant, and didn’t mourn instead, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you.
Na ɛbɛyɛ dɛn na moatumi ahoahoa mo ho? Adɛn nti na ɛnsɛ sɛ mo werɛ how wɔ ho na mompam saa onipa no mfi mo mu?
3 For I most certainly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing.
Ɛwɔ mu, me de, me ne mo ntam kwan ware nanso mewɔ mo nkyɛn wɔ honhom mu. Yɛn Awurade Yesu din mu, mabu onipa a ɔyɛɛ afide yi atɛn dedaw te sɛ nea mewɔ mo nkyɛn ara pɛ.
4 In the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, when you are gathered together with my spirit with the power of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah,
Muhyia na meka mo ho wɔ honhom mu a, Awurade Yesu tumi a ɛka yɛn ho no nti,
5 you are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Yeshua.
ɛsɛ sɛ mode saa onipa no ma ɔbonsam na ɔsɛe ne nipadua no na Awurade da no du a, wagye ne honhom nkwa.
6 Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?
Ɛnsɛ sɛ mohoahoa mo ho. Munim sɛ mmɔkaw kakraa bi na ɛma mmɔre no tu ana?
7 Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Messiah, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.
Ɛsɛ sɛ muyi saa bɔne mmɔkaw dedaw yi fi mo mu na moayɛ kronkron. Ɛba saa a, mobɛyɛ sɛ mmɔre foforo a mmɔkaw nni mu sɛnea minim mo sɛ mote dedaw no. Afei a wɔde Kristo a ɔyɛ yɛn Twam Guamma no abɔ afɔre no, yɛn Twam Afahyɛ no adu so.
8 Therefore let’s keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Eyi nti mommma yɛmmfa mmɔkaw dedaw a ɛyɛ bɔne no nni afahyɛ no, na mmom yɛmfa brodo a mmɔkaw nni mu na ɛyɛ kronkron no na enni afahyɛ no.
9 I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;
Krataa a mekyerɛw mo no, mekaa wɔ mu se mommfa mo ho mmmɔ nguamanfo ho koraa,
10 yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortionists, or with idolaters, for then you would have to leave the world.
anaa wiase yi nguamanfo anaa aniberefo anaa akorɔmfo anaa wɔn a wɔsom ahoni. Sɛ wompɛ sɛ wo ne eyinom bɔ a, na ɛsɛ sɛ wufi wiase koraa.
11 But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. Don’t even eat with such a person.
Nea mekyerɛ ne sɛ, mommfa mo ho mmmɔ onipa a ɔfrɛ ne ho se onua nanso ɔbɔ aguaman anaa ɔyɛ oniberefo anaa ɔsom ahoni anaa ɔkɔnkɔnsani anaa ɔkɔwensani anaa ɔkorɔmfo. Onipa a ɔte saa no, mo ne no nntena ase nto nsa nnidi.
12 For what do I have to do with also judging those who are outside? Don’t you judge those who are within?
Adɛn nti na ɛsɛ sɛ mibu wɔn a wɔnka asafo no ho atɛn? Ɛnyɛ wɔn a wɔwɔ asafo no mu mmom na ɛsɛ sɛ mubu wɔn atɛn?
13 But those who are outside, God judges. “Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.”
Onyankopɔn na obebu wɔn a wonni asafo no mu atɛn, sɛnea Kyerɛwsɛm no ka se, “Mompam onipa bɔne no mfi mo mu.”
