< Psalms 82 >
1 A Psalm by Asaph. God presides in the great assembly. He judges amongst the gods.
Salimo la Asafu. Mulungu akutsogolera msonkhano waukulu; Iye akuweruza pakati pa “milungu.”
2 “How long will you judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” (Selah)
“Mudzateteza osalungama mpaka liti, ndi kukondera anthu oyipa?
3 “Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
Tetezani anthu ofowoka ndi amasiye; mukhazikitse ufulu wa anthu osauka ndi ozunzika.
4 Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.”
Landitsani anthu ofowoka ndi osowa; apulumutseni mʼdzanja la anthu oyipa.
5 They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
“Iwo sadziwa kanthu, sazindikira kalikonse. Amayendayenda mu mdima; maziko onse a dziko lapansi agwedezeka.
6 I said, “You are gods, all of you are sons of the Most High.
“Ndinati, ‘Inu ndinu Mulungu, nonsenu ndinu ana a Wammwambamwamba.’
7 Nevertheless you shall die like men, and fall like one of the rulers.”
Koma mudzafa ngati anthu wamba; mudzagwa ngati wolamula wina aliyense.”
8 Arise, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.
Dzukani Inu Mulungu, weruzani dziko lapansi, pakuti mayiko onse ndi cholowa chanu.
