< Psalms 72 >
1 By Solomon. God, give the king your justice; your righteousness to the royal son.
Toloro amy mpanjakay ty fizakà’o, ry Andrianañahare, vaho amy ana’ i mpanjakaiy ty havantaña’o,
2 He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice.
Hizaka’e an-kahiti’e ondati’oo, o mpisotri’oo an-katò.
3 The mountains shall bring prosperity to the people. The hills bring the fruit of righteousness.
Hinday fanintsiñañe am’ ondatio o vohitseo, naho havañonañe o haboañeo.
4 He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces.
Ho mei’e to o rarake am’ondatioo, ho rombahe’e ty ana’ o poi’eo, vaho ho demohe’e ty mpamorekeke.
5 They shall fear you while the sun endures; and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.
Hañeveñe ama’o iereo naho mbe ey i androy, vaho mbe eñe i volañey, amy ze hene tariratse.
6 He will come down like rain on the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.
Ie hizotso manahake ty orañe an-teteke vaho tinatake eo, hoe ereke mampiboboke ty tane.
7 In his days, the righteous shall flourish, and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.
Hiraorao amo andro’eo o vañoñeo: vaho am-pierañerañañe vokatse ampara’ te mimosaoñe i volañey.
8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth.
Ho fehè’e ty boak’ an-driake eñe, pak’an-driak’ añe ka; le boak’ amy sakay pak’amo olon-taneo.
9 Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him. His enemies shall lick the dust.
hilokoloko ama’e o mpimoneñe am-babangoañeo; vaho hitsela lemboke o rafelahi’eo.
10 The kings of Tarshish and of the islands will bring tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
Handroroñe ama’e o mpanjaka’ i Tarsiseo naho o tokonoseo; hañenga ama’e o mpanjaka’ i Tsebà naho i Sebào.
11 Yes, all kings shall fall down before him. All nations shall serve him.
Eka, hibokokoa’ ze kila mpanjaka, hene fifeheañe ro hitoroñe aze.
12 For he will deliver the needy when he cries; the poor, who has no helper.
Himbae’e ty rarake te mitoreo, naho i mpisotriy, vaho i tsy amam-pañimbay.
13 He will have pity on the poor and needy. He will save the souls of the needy.
Hiferenaiña’e ty maifoifo naho o poi’eo, vaho ho rombahe’e ty fiai’ o mavomavoo.
14 He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence. Their blood will be precious in his sight.
Ho jebañe’e ami’ty famorekekeañe naho amo hasiahañeo ty fiai’iareo, fa sarotse am-pivazohoa’e eo ty lio’ iareo.
15 He will live; and Sheba’s gold will be given to him. Men will pray for him continually. They will bless him all day long.
Ho velon-dre! hatolotse aze ty volamena’ i Sebà; añonjono halaly ama’e nainai’e, andriaño lomoñandro.
16 Abundance of grain shall be throughout the land. Its fruit sways like Lebanon. Let it flourish, thriving like the grass of the field.
ho vokats’ ampemba i taney, an-dengon-kaboañe ey, le hihelakelake hoe e Lebanone añe o havokara’eo; vaho handrevake hoe ty ahe’ i taney o boak’an-drovao.
17 His name endures forever. His name continues as long as the sun. Men shall be blessed by him. All nations will call him blessed.
Tsy ho tampetse nainai’e ty tahina’e; tsy ho modo aolo’ i àndroy ty tahina’e; vaho hifampitata ty ama’e ondatio, ze kilakila ondaty hanao aze soa-tata.
18 Praise be to the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvellous deeds.
Andriaño t’Iehovà Andrianamboatse, Andrianañahare’ Israele, Ie avao ro manao raha tsitantane.
19 Blessed be his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and amen.
Bangoeñe nainai’e i tahina’e lifo-bolonahetsey; mañàtseke ty tane toy ty enge’e. Ie izay! naho Amena!
20 This ends the prayers by David, the son of Jesse.
Migadoñe eo ty filolofa’ i Davide, ana’ Iesae.
