< Psalms 62 >

1 For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm by David. My soul rests in God alone. My salvation [yeshuah-ti] is from him.
Ya Mukulu wa Bayimbi. Ya Yedusuni. Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Emmeeme yange ewummulira mu Katonda yekka; oyo obulokozi bwange mwe buva.
2 He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress. I will never be greatly shaken.
Ye yekka, lwe lwazi lwange era bwe bulokozi bwange; ye kye kigo kyange siinyeenyezebwenga n’akatono.
3 How long will you assault a man? Would all of you throw him down, like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?
Mulituusa ddi nga mulumba omuntu, mmwe mwenna okwagala okumusuula wansi ng’ekisenge ekyewunzise era ng’olukomera oluyuuguuma?
4 They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah)
Bateesa okumuggya mu kifo kye ekinywevu, basanyukira eby’obulimba. Basaba omukisa n’emimwa gyabwe so nga munda bakolima.
5 My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.
Emmeeme yange ewummulire mu Katonda yekka; kubanga mu ye mwe muli essuubi lyange.
6 He alone is my rock and my salvation [yeshuah-ti], my fortress. I will not be shaken.
Ye yekka lwe lwazi lwange era bwe bulokozi bwange, ye kye kigo kyange, siinyeenyezebwenga.
7 My salvation and my honour is with God. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Okulokolebwa kwange n’ekitiibwa kyange biri mu Katonda yekka; ye lwe lwazi lwange olw’amaanyi era kye kiddukiro kyange.
8 Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. (Selah)
Mumwesigenga bulijjo mmwe abantu, mumutegeezenga byonna ebiri mu mitima gyammwe, kubanga Katonda kye kiddukiro kyaffe.
9 Surely men of low degree are just a breath, and men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath.
Abaana b’abantu mukka bukka, abazaalibwa mu bugagga bulimba bwereere; ne bwe bageraageranyizibwa ku minzaani, n’omukka gubasinga okuzitowa.
10 Don’t trust in oppression. Don’t become vain in robbery. If riches increase, don’t set your heart on them.
Temwesigamanga ku bujoozi wadde ku bintu ebibbe. Temuyitirira okwewaanirawaanira mu bugagga bwammwe ne bwe bweyongeranga, era temubumalirangako mwoyo gwammwe.
11 God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.
Katonda ayogedde ekintu kimu, kyokka nze nziggyemu ebintu bibiri nti: Katonda, oli w’amaanyi,
12 Also to you, Lord, belongs loving kindness, for you reward every man according to his work.
era ggwe, Ayi Mukama, ojjudde okwagala. Ddala olisasula buli muntu ng’ebikolwa bye bwe biri.
