< Psalms 62 >
1 For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm by David. My soul rests in God alone. My salvation [yeshuah-ti] is from him.
Katoeng kruek zaehoikung hanah. Jeduthun ah sak koi David ih Saam laa.
2 He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress. I will never be greatly shaken.
3 How long will you assault a man? Would all of you throw him down, like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?
Kami maeto to nasetto maw na tuk o han? Kai loe amtimh tom sipae, angkhaa thai ai khongkha baktiah ni ka oh boeh, nangcae boih mah nasetto thungah maw nang hum o han vop?
4 They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah)
Nihcae loe ka ohhaih hmuensang hoiah kai pakhrak hanah poek o; lok amlai o; pakha hoiah tahamhoihaih to paek o, toe palung thung hoiah loe kasae to a thuih o. (Selah)
5 My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.
6 He alone is my rock and my salvation [yeshuah-ti], my fortress. I will not be shaken.
7 My salvation and my honour is with God. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8 Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. (Selah)
Aw kaminawk, anih khaeah amha o poe ah loe, anih khaeah palungthin to paek oh; Sithaw loe aicae abuephaih ah oh. (Selah)
9 Surely men of low degree are just a breath, and men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath.
Tangtang ni, khosak kahnaem kaminawk loe takhi khue ah ni oh o, khosak sang kaminawk doeh amsawnlok thui kami ah ni oh o; tahhaih hoiah tah naah, nihcae loe takhi pongah anghoep o kue.
10 Don’t trust in oppression. Don’t become vain in robbery. If riches increase, don’t set your heart on them.
Pacaekthlaekhaih to oep hmah loe, lomh ih hmuenmae pongah doeh amoek o hmah; hmuenmae hoi angraeng parai naah, to hmuenmae nuiah na poekhaih suem hmah.
11 God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.
Sithaw mah lok vaito thuih; vai hnetto thuih naah, thacakhaih loe Sithaw ih ni, tiah ka thaih.
12 Also to you, Lord, belongs loving kindness, for you reward every man according to his work.
Aw Angraeng, nang loe palungnathaih hoiah na koi; nang loe kaminawk boih hanah a tok sakhaih baktih toengah tangqum to na paek.
