< Psalms 61 >

1 For the Chief Musician. For a stringed instrument. By David. Hear my cry, God. Listen to my prayer.
Kuom jatend wer. Gi gig wer man-gi tondegi. Mar Daudi. Winj ywakna, yaye Nyasaye; chik iti ne lamona.
2 From the end of the earth, I will call to you when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Aluongi gie tungʼ piny, aluongi ka chunya ool; telna nyaka lwanda mohinga gi bor.
3 For you have been a refuge for me, a strong tower from the enemy.
Nikech in ema isebedo kar pondona, isebedona ohinga motegno maponde ne jasigu.
4 I will dwell in your tent forever. I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings. (Selah)
Agombo dak e hembi nyaka chiengʼ mondo apondie e raum mar bwombeni. (Sela)
5 For you, God, have heard my vows. You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
Nikech isewinjo singruokna kodi, yaye Nyasaye; isemiya gweth mikano ne joma oluoro nyingi.
6 You will prolong the king’s life. His years will be for generations.
Med ndalo mar ngima ruoth, mede higni e tienge mangʼeny.
7 He shall be enthroned in God’s presence forever. Appoint your loving kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
Mi obed e kom loch e nyim Nyasaye nyaka chiengʼ; ket herani kod adierani mondo orite.
8 So I will sing praise to your name forever, that I may fulfil my vows daily.
Eka anasik ka apako nyingi gi wer kendo abiro chopo singruokna kodi odiechiengʼ kodiechiengʼ.
