< Psalms 141 >
1 A Psalm by David. LORD, I have called on you. Come to me quickly! Listen to my voice when I call to you.
O Yahweh Pakai, nangma kakouve, Panpi ngehna katao hi nei ngaipeh loijin!
2 Let my prayer be set before you like incense; the lifting up of my hands like the evening sacrifice.
Kataona hi nahenga gimnamtwi kilhut bang'in chule kakhut teni kadopsang hi nilhah lang kilhaina gantha bang'in neisanpeh tan.
3 Set a watch, LORD, before my mouth. Keep the door of my lips.
O Yahweh Pakai, kakam'a hin kamdal neikoipeh'in. Kakam sung nei vetpeh jing in.
4 Don’t incline my heart to any evil thing, to practise deeds of wickedness with men who work iniquity. Don’t let me eat of their delicacies.
Thilse bolna din kalungthim aselam-a kon'in neihoidah sah in, thil dihlou bolna'a neipansah hih'in. Thildihlou bol hon aphat chompiu thangset umtah thil hoa chan nei neisah hih'in.
5 Let the righteous strike me, it is kindness; let him reprove me, it is like oil on the head; don’t let my head refuse it; Yet my prayer is always against evil deeds.
Miphan eiphoh hen hichu ngailutna joh ahi! Amahon eisuhdihna chu damna ahipoi, Miphalou hon thilse abol dounan katao jinge.
6 Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock. They will hear my words, for they are well spoken.
Alamkaiteu kol'a akisot lhah tengleh, miphalou hon kathusei angaidiu chuteng dih ahinsah diu ahi.
7 “As when one ploughs and breaks up the earth, our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol.” (Sheol )
Songpi akikhet keh teng tol'a akitakeh bang in, miphalou ho gule chang ho jong vui louva kithe jal ding ahi. (Sheol )
8 For my eyes are on you, LORD, the Lord. I take refuge in you. Don’t leave my soul destitute.
O Yahweh Pakai hatchungnung, panpi ngaijin na henga kataove. Nangma kakiselna kulpi nahi; amaho khut-a thina neitosah hih in.
9 Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, from the traps of the workers of iniquity.
Kei ona dinga thang akam-uva kon in neihuhdoh in, thilpha lou jenga chon ho thangkol'a nei o-sah hih in.
10 Let the wicked fall together into their own nets while I pass by.
Miphalou ho chu amaho thang kam-a chun oh uhen, kijam chap tauhen; keivang nei hoidoh sah'in.
