Psalms 125

1 A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever.

Los que confían en Yavé Son como la Montaña Sion, Que no se mueve, sino permanece para siempre.

2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people from this time forward and forever more.

Como Jerusalén tiene montañas alrededor de ella, Así Yavé está alrededor de su pueblo Desde ahora y para siempre.

3 For the sceptre of wickedness won’t remain over the allotment of the righteous, so that the righteous won’t use their hands to do evil.

Porque no reposará el cetro de la perversidad Sobre la heredad de los justos, Para que los justos no extiendan sus manos a la iniquidad.

4 Do good, LORD, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts.

Oh Yavé, concede bien a los buenos Y a los que son rectos en su corazón.

5 But as for those who turn away to their crooked ways, the LORD will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be on Israel.

Pero a los que se apartan a sus caminos torcidos, Yavé los llevará con los que hacen iniquidad. ¡Paz sea sobre Israel!
