< Psalms 12 >
1 For the Chief Musician; upon an eight-stringed lyre. A Psalm of David. Help, LORD; for the godly man ceases. For the faithful fail from amongst the children of men.
Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi. Nzembo ya Davidi; ya koyemba na lindanda ya basinga mwambe. Yawe, sunga biso! Pamba te bayengebene bazali lisusu te; bato ya kotiela motema bazali lisusu te kati na bana na bato.
2 Everyone lies to his neighbour. They speak with flattering lips, and with a double heart.
Bato nyonso bazali kokosana bango na bango, bazali kolobana maloba ya sukali, kasi mitema na bango ezali sembo te.
3 May the LORD cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that boasts,
Tika ete Yawe aboma bato nyonso oyo balobaka maloba ya sukali mpe batondi na lolendo,
4 who have said, “With our tongue we will prevail. Our lips are our own. Who is lord over us?”
ba-oyo balobaka: « Tokolonga na nzela ya lolemo na biso, bibebu na biso ekolobela biso; nani akoluka kozala nkolo na biso? »
5 “Because of the oppression of the weak and because of the groaning of the needy, I will now arise,” says the LORD; “I will set him in safety from those who malign him.”
Yawe alobi: « Mpo ete bazali konyokola babola mpe kolelisa bato oyo bakelela, natelemi sik’oyo mpo na kobikisa batiolami. »
6 The LORD’s words are flawless words, as silver refined in a clay furnace, purified seven times.
Maloba ya Yawe ezalaka peto lokola palata oyo balekisi na moto mpe bapetoli mbala sambo.
7 You will keep them, LORD. You will preserve them from this generation forever.
Yo, Yawe, okobatela bato oyo bakelela, okobikisa biso mpo na libela liboso ya bato mabe.
8 The wicked walk on every side, when what is vile is exalted amongst the sons of men.
Bato mabe batambolaka na bonsomi bipai na bipai soki bato bapesi bozoba lokumu.
