Malachi 4
1 “For behold, the day comes, burning like a furnace, when all the proud and all who work wickedness will be stubble. The day that comes will burn them up,” says the LORD of Hosts, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.
Porque ciertamente viene el día ardiente como un horno, cuando todos los altivos y todos los perversos serán estopa. Aquel día que viene los quemará, y no quedará de ellos raíz ni rama, dice Yavé de las huestes.
2 But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall.
Pero para ustedes, los que temen mi Nombre, nacerá el Sol de Justicia. En sus alas traerá salvación. Saldrán y saltarán como becerros de la manada.
3 You shall tread down the wicked; for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I make,” says the LORD of Hosts.
El día que Yo preparo pisotearán a los perversos, que serán como ceniza bajo las plantas de sus pies, dice Yavé de las huestes.
4 “Remember the Torah of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.
Acuérdense de la Ley de mi esclavo Moisés, que le prescribí en Horeb para todo Israel, con sus Ordenanzas y Preceptos.
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes.
Miren, Yo les envío al profeta Elías antes de la venida grande y terrible del día de Yavé.
6 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”
Él volverá los corazones de los progenitores a sus hijos, y los corazones de los hijos a los progenitores, no sea que Yo venga y golpee la tierra con una maldición.
