Leviticus 10

1 Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer, and put fire in it, and laid incense on it, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he had not commanded them.

E os filhos de Arão, Nadabe e Abiú, tomaram cada um seu incensário, e puseram fogo neles, sobre o qual puseram incenso, e ofereceram diante do SENHOR fogo estranho, que ele nunca lhes mandou.

2 Fire came out from before the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

E saiu fogo de diante do SENHOR que os queimou, e morreram diante do SENHOR.

3 Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the LORD spoke of, saying, ‘I will show myself holy to those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” Aaron held his peace.

Então disse Moisés a Arão: Isto é o que falou o SENHOR, dizendo: Em meus achegados me santificarei, e em presença de todo o povo serei glorificado. E Arão calou.

4 Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said to them, “Draw near, carry your brothers from before the sanctuary out of the camp.”

E chamou Moisés a Misael, e a Elzafã, filhos de Uziel, tio de Arão, e disse-lhes: Achegai-vos e tirai a vossos irmãos de diante do santuário fora do acampamento.

5 So they came near, and carried them in their tunics out of the camp, as Moses had said.

E eles chegaram, e tiraram-nos com suas túnicas fora do acampamento, como disse Moisés.

6 Moses said to Aaron, and to Eleazar and to Ithamar, his sons, “Don’t let the hair of your heads go loose, and don’t tear your clothes, so that you don’t die, and so that he will not be angry with all the congregation; but let your brothers, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD has kindled.

Então Moisés disse a Arão, e a Eleazar e a Itamar, seus filhos: Não descubrais vossas cabeças, nem rasgueis vossas roupas, para que não morrais, nem se levante a ira sobre toda a congregação: porém vossos irmãos, toda a casa de Israel, lamentarão o incêndio que o SENHOR fez.

7 You shall not go out from the door of the Tent of Meeting, lest you die; for the anointing oil of the LORD is on you.” They did according to the word of Moses.

Nem saireis da porta do tabernáculo do testemunho, porque morrereis; porquanto o azeite da unção do SENHOR está sobre vós. E eles fizeram conforme o dito de Moisés.

8 Then the LORD said to Aaron,

E o SENHOR falou a Arão, dizendo:

9 “You and your sons are not to drink wine or strong drink whenever you go into the Tent of Meeting, or you will die. This shall be a statute forever throughout your generations.

Tu, e teus filhos contigo, não bebereis vinho nem bebida forte, quando houverdes de entrar no tabernáculo do testemunho, para que não morrais: estatuto perpétuo por vossas gerações;

10 You are to make a distinction between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the clean.

E para poder discernir entre o santo e o profano, e entre o impuro e o limpo;

11 You are to teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD has spoken to them by Moses.”

E para ensinar aos filhos de Israel todos os estatutos que o SENHOR lhes disse por meio de Moisés.

12 Moses spoke to Aaron, and to Eleazar and to Ithamar, his sons who were left, “Take the meal offering that remains of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without yeast beside the altar; for it is most holy;

E Moisés disse a Arão, e a Eleazar e a Itamar, seus filhos que haviam restado: Tomai a oferta de cereais que resta das ofertas acendidas ao SENHOR, e comei-a sem levedura junto ao altar, porque é coisa muito santa.

13 and you shall eat it in a holy place, because it is your portion, and your sons’ portion, of the offerings of the LORD made by fire; for so I am commanded.

Haveis, pois, de comê-la no lugar santo: porque isto é estatuto para ti, e estatuto para teus filhos, das ofertas acendidas ao SENHOR, pois que assim me foi mandado.

14 The waved breast and the heaved thigh you shall eat in a clean place, you, and your sons, and your daughters with you: for they are given as your portion, and your sons’ portion, out of the sacrifices of the peace offerings of the children of Israel.

Comereis também em lugar limpo, tu e teus filhos e tuas filhas contigo, o peito da oferta movida, e a coxa elevada, porque por estatuto para ti, e estatuto para teus filhos, são dados dos sacrifícios das ofertas pacíficas dos filhos de Israel.

15 They shall bring the heaved thigh and the waved breast with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the LORD. It shall be yours, and your sons’ with you, as a portion forever, as the LORD has commanded.”

Com as ofertas das gorduras que se hão de acender, trarão a coxa que se há de elevar, e o peito que será movido, para que o movas por oferta movida diante do SENHOR: e será por estatuto perpétuo teu, e de teus filhos contigo, como o SENHOR o mandou.

16 Moses diligently enquired about the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burnt. He was angry with Eleazar and with Ithamar, the sons of Aaron who were left, saying,

E Moisés mandou o bode macho da expiação, e achou-se que era queimado: e irou-se contra Eleazar e Itamar, os filhos de Arão que haviam restado, dizendo:

17 “Why haven’t you eaten the sin offering in the place of the sanctuary, since it is most holy, and he has given it to you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?

Por que não comestes a expiação no lugar santo? Porque é muito santa, e deu-a ele a vós para levar a iniquidade da congregação, para que sejam reconciliados diante do SENHOR.

18 Behold, its blood was not brought into the inner part of the sanctuary. You certainly should have eaten it in the sanctuary, as I commanded.”

Vedes que seu sangue não foi metido dentro do santuário: havíeis de comê-la no lugar santo, como eu mandei.

19 Aaron spoke to Moses, “Behold, today they have offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD; and such things as these have happened to me. If I had eaten the sin offering today, would it have been pleasing in the LORD’s sight?”

E respondeu Arão a Moisés: Eis que hoje ofereceram sua expiação e seu holocausto diante do SENHOR: mas me aconteceram estas coisas: pois se comesse eu hoje da expiação, Teria sido aceito ao SENHOR?

20 When Moses heard that, it was pleasing in his sight.

E quando Moisés ouviu isto, deu-se por satisfeito.
