< Galatians 2 >
1 Then after a period of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with me.
Sa ti weti kirau nan ti nazita aki maha urshalima nan barnabas, maziki titos nan mi.
2 I went up by revelation, and I laid before them the Good News which I proclaim amongst the Gentiles, but privately before those who were respected, for fear that I might be running, or had run, in vain.
Ma nyene barki upaakahutizeta Asere sama buki a nu zatu rusa Asere. Ma buki anu sa gongon a nikira, barki indaa suma nani ma sumi uhura ba.
3 But not even Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.
Me titus me cangi sa ma zi nan mi sa maa zi una girik, a gwaari me in ni kara.
4 This was because of the false brothers secretly brought in, who stole in to spy out our liberty which we have in Messiah Yeshua, that they might bring us into bondage,
Anu hem a zenzen wa eh innu hunze wa gun kuno ukem usa upebu uri anyimo Yeso vana. Wa nyari ti cukuno we arere.
5 to whom we gave no place in the way of subjection, not for an hour, that the truth of the Good News might continue with you.
Ta gaa duru u nya nice a tiye me, barki kadandere ka tize tiso ti cukuno nan shi.
6 But from those who were reputed to be important—whatever they were, it makes no difference to me; God doesn’t show partiality to man—they, I say, who were respected imparted nothing to me,
Senki anu sa hira wa teki aye anu, ma buka gusa wateki vat wa kinkin imum ba.
7 but to the contrary, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the Good News for the uncircumcised, even as Peter with the Good News for the circumcised—
Ure uwetu, wa iri a nyam tize tiso ta nusa a gwara we ba, gūsa a nya bitrus tize tiso u hana anu dira ugwara.
8 for he who worked through Peter in the apostleship with the circumcised also worked through me with the Gentiles—
Asere, sa ma gamirka Bitrus ma cukuno unu tarsa u Yeso barki anu rusa Asere, cangi ma wuzi katuma anyimo am.
9 and when they perceived the grace that was given to me, Jacob and Kefa and Yochanan, those who were reputed to be pillars, gave to Barnabas and me the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision.
Sa yakubu kefas nan yohana, sa urusi agi we wani wa barka udenge wa Asere me, wa gāna nikara sa Asere a nyam, wa ziki Barnabas nan miwa wuzi anime barki tiha ahira anu sa wa taa Asere ba.
10 They only asked us to remember the poor—which very thing I was also zealous to do.
Wa nyari ticas ti ringi anu dira, imum igesa ma inki iriban.
11 But when Peter came to Antioch, I resisted him to his face, because he stood condemned.
Uganiya sa kefas ma eh u antakiya ma gwarka a mu henu meme s ma chami.
12 For before some people came from Jacob, he ate with the Gentiles. But when they came, he drew back and separated himself, fearing those who were of the circumcision.
Uganiya sa wanu aye ba sa ahira yakubu, kefas mazi innare nan nanu zatu u urusa Asere. Barki anu me wa eh, mā ceki a zatu rusa Asere ma kunna biyau banu sa nyara a gwari aye me.
13 And the rest of the Jewish believers joined him in his hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy.
Ukasu anu me cangi wa muti nice nan na nu bihunze me.
14 But when I saw that they didn’t walk uprightly according to the truth of the Good News, I said to Peter before them all, “If you, being a Jew, live as the Gentiles do, and not as the Jews do, why do you compel the Gentiles to live as the Jews do?
Sama iri tanu tiwe me ti daa tize tiso me ba, ma gu in kefas aje awē me vat, ''inka hū yahudawa mani u ciki anyimo anu zatu rusa Asere sarki gu uyahudawa ba aneni udi wu wa wuzi ticukuno gū ahahudawa?''
15 “We, being Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners,
Haru me ayahudawa wani u yoo dā anu zatu rusa Asere a madini.
16 yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Yeshua the Messiah, even we believed in Messiah Yeshua, that we might be justified by faith in Messiah and not by the works of the law, because no flesh will be justified by the works of the law.
Vat anime ti rusa senki u inko iriba anyimo Yeso van Asere. Haru me cangi ta ribe anyimo a Yeso barki ti wu lauanyimo vana Asere daki katuma ku inko utize ba. Barki u inko utize da uye mada lau ba.
17 But if while we sought to be justified in Messiah, we ourselves also were found sinners, is Messiah a servant of sin? Certainly not!
Barki inka, tizin nu nyara ti wu lau anyimo vana Asere haru me cangi anu a madini wani Yeso ma kinkize imum ibur? Babu koka inde.
18 For if I build up again those things which I destroyed, I prove myself a law-breaker.
Inka ma kuri ma barki imum sa ma charin, ma bezi mi unu zatu tarsa inko tize tini.
19 For I through the law died to the law, that I might live to God.
Gu anyimo u inko utize me ma, wii a hira inko tize me, barki in wuzi Asere katuma.
20 I have been crucified with Messiah, and it is no longer I who live, but Messiah lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.
A gamirkam na Yeso da mi mani in haka ba vana Asere mani ma raa' anyimo am. Tanu tige inzin anipum, in haka anyimo u inko iriba a vana Asere sa ma zi innu su um ma nya nice ni meme barki mi.
21 I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Messiah died for nothing!”
Da ma vate u benki wa Asere, inka tanu ti lau ake a kem tini anyimo u inko utize, vana Asere ma wi hem.
