< Deuteronomy 11 >

1 Therefore you shall love the LORD your God, and keep his instructions, his statutes, his ordinances, and his commandments, always.
To pongah na Angraeng Sithaw to palung oh loe, ang thuih o ih loknawk, a zaehhoihaih daannawk, a lokcaekhaihnawk hoi kaaloknawk to pakuem o poe ah.
2 Know this day—for I don’t speak with your children who have not known, and who have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, his outstretched arm,
Na Angraeng Sithaw ih thuitaekhaih, lensawkhaih, ban thacakhaih, ban payanghaih,
3 his signs, and his works, which he did in the middle of Egypt to Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and to all his land;
A sak ih hmuennawk hoi dawnrai hmuennawk, Izip prae ah, Izip siangpahrang Faro hoi anih ih kaminawk khaeah sak ih hmuennawk,
4 and what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Sea of Suf to overflow them as they pursued you, and how the LORD has destroyed them to this day;
Izip misatuh kaminawk, hrang angthueng kaminawk hoi nihcae ih hrang lakoknawk nuiah sak ih hmuennawk, kawbangah maw nangcae patom kaminawk to kathim tuipui thungah uemsak king, Angraeng mah kawbangah maw nihcae to vaihni khoek to amrosak;
5 and what he did to you in the wilderness until you came to this place;
hae ahmuen ah na pha o ai vop, praezaek ah nam het o nathuem ah, nangcae han a sak ih hmuennawk,
6 and what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben—how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households, their tents, and every living thing that followed them, in the middle of all Israel;
Reuben acaeng, Eliab ih caa hnik, Dathan hoi Abiram khaeah a sak ih hmuennawk, kawbangah maw Israel kaminawk boih hma ah long mah pakha aangh moe, nihnik hoi a imthung takoh boih, a oh hoi haih im hoi a tawnh o ih hmuennawk boih paaeh pae king, tito panoek ai na caanawk khaeah ka thui pae ai; vaihniah to hmuen kawng to na panoek o han oh.
7 but your eyes have seen all of the LORD’s great work which he did.
Angraeng mah sak ih kalen parai hmuennawk to mik hoiah na hnuk o boeh.
8 Therefore you shall keep the entire commandment which I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land that you go over to possess;
To pongah vaihniah kang paek o ih loknawk to pazui o boih ah; to tiah nahaeloe na caeh o moe, qawk ah na toep o han ih prae thungah, thacakhaih hoiah na kun o thai tih;
9 and that you may prolong your days in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give to them and to their offspring, a land flowing with milk and honey.
Angraeng mah nam saenawk hoi nihcae ih caanawk khaeah paek han lokkam ih prae, tahnutui hoi khoitui longhaih prae thungah, na hinglung sawk o tih.
10 For the land, where you go in to possess isn’t like the land of Egypt that you came out of, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot, as a garden of herbs;
Na caeh o moe, na toep o han ih prae loe, aanmu na haeh o moe, khok hoiah tui na bawh o ih, nang zoh o haih, Izip prae baktiah om ai.
11 but the land that you go over to possess is a land of hills and valleys which drinks water from the rain of the sky,
Toe na caeh o moe, na toep o han ih prae loe, maesom hoi azawn kapop prae ah oh moe, van ih khotui kanae prae,
12 a land which the LORD your God cares for. The LORD your God’s eyes are always on it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year.
na Angraeng Sithaw mah saning amtonghaih hoi boeng khoek to khetzawn ih prae ah oh.
13 It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to my commandments which I command you today, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

15 I will give grass in your fields for your livestock, and you shall eat and be full.
Zok kamhah ah na caak o thai hanah, maitaw pacahhaih qam kahing to kang sai o sak han.
16 Be careful, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn away to serve other gods and worship them;
Na palungthin to aling moe, loklam amkhraeng ving han ai ah; kalah sithawnawk to bok moe, a tok na sak pae o han ai ah acoe oh;
17 and the LORD’s anger be kindled against you, and he shut up the sky so that there is no rain, and the land doesn’t yield its fruit; and you perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD gives you.
to tih ai nahaeloe Angraeng palungphuihaih nangcae nuiah hmai baktiah kangh ueloe, kho angzoh han ai ah, van thok to kha ving moeng tih; long ah thingthai tacawt mak ai, to naah Angraeng mah paek ih prae thung hoiah karangah nam ro o tih.
18 Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul. You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.
To pongah kang thuih o ih loknawk hae na palungthin thungah pakuem oh, na ban ah zaeng oh loe, na mik salak ih lu pataeh ah kom oh.
19 You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
Na caanawk to patuk oh loe, im ah nang hnut o moe, loklam na caeh o naah doeh, na iih moe, nang thawk o naah doeh thui oh.
20 You shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates;
Na im thok tung ah doeh tarik oh loe, khongkha ah doeh tarik oh.
21 that your days and your children’s days may be multiplied in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.
To tiah nahaeloe Angraeng mah nam panawk khaeah paek han lokkam ih prae ah, nangcae hoi na caanawk ih hinghaih loe van hinglung sawkhaih baktiah sawk o tih.
22 For if you shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you—to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cling to him—

25 No man will be able to stand before you. The LORD your God will lay the fear of you and the dread of you on all the land that you tread on, as he has spoken to you.
Mi kawbaktih doeh nangcae hmaa ah angdoet o thaih han ai ah, na Angraeng Sithaw mah ang thuih o ih lok baktih toengah, khok hoiah na cawh o ih ahmuen ah kaom kaminawk boih khaeah, na Angraeng Sithaw mah nangcae zithaih palungthin to suem pae tih.

To maenawk loe Jordan vapui zaeh, niduem bangah kaom, Kanaan kaminawk ohhaih, Moreh azawn taeng ih, Gilgal vangpui ah na ai maw oh o?
31 For you are to pass over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God gives you, and you shall possess it and dwell in it.
