2 Kings 2
1 When the LORD was about to take Elijah up by a whirlwind into heaven, Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.
၁ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဧလိယ ကို လေဘွေ အားဖြင့် ကောင်းကင် သို့ ချီ တော်မူချိန်နီးသောအခါ၊ ဧလိယ သည် ဧလိရှဲ နှင့်အတူ ဂိလဂါလ မြို့သို့ သွား ၏
2 Elijah said to Elisha, “Please wait here, for the LORD has sent me as far as Bethel.” Elisha said, “As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.
၂ဧလိယ ကလည်း ၊ ဤ အရပ်၌ နေရစ် ပါလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ့ ကို ဗေသလ မြို့သို့ စေလွှတ် တော်မူသည် ဟု ဧလိရှဲ အား ဆို လျှင်၊ ဧလိရှဲ က ထာဝရဘုရား အသက် ၊ ကိုယ်တော် အသက်ရှင် တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ၊ ကိုယ်တော် နှင့် အကျွန်ုပ်မ ကွာ ရပါဟု ပြန်ပြော လျက် ၊ ထိုသူနှစ်ယောက်တို့ သည် ဗေသလ မြို့သို့သွား ကြ၏
3 The sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that the LORD will take away your master from over you today?” He said, “Yes, I know it. Hold your peace.”
၃ထိုမြို့၌ရှိသောပရောဖက် အမျိုးသား တို့သည် ဧလိရှဲ ကို ခရီးဦးကြိုပြုအံ့သောငှါထွက် လာ၍ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ကိုယ်တော် သခင် ကို ကိုယ်တော် ခေါင်း မှ ယနေ့ နှုတ် သွားတော်မူမည်ကို သိ တော်မူသလော ဟု မေး လျှင် ၊ ဟုတ်ကဲ့ငါ သိ ၏။ တိတ်ဆိတ် စွာ နေကြပါဟုပြော ဆို၏
4 Elijah said to him, “Elisha, please wait here, for the LORD has sent me to Jericho.” He said, “As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” So they came to Jericho.
၄ဧလိယ ကလည်း ၊ အိုဧလိရှဲ ၊ ဤ အရပ်၌ နေရစ် ပါလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ့ ကိုယေရိခေါ မြို့သို့ စေလွှတ် တော်မူသည်ဟုဆိုလျှင်၊ ဧလိရှဲက၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အသက် ၊ ကိုယ်တော် အသက် ရှင်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ၊ ကိုယ်တော် နှင့် အကျွန်ုပ်မ ကွာ ရပါဟု ပြန်ပြော လျက် ၊ ထိုသူနှစ်ယောက်တို့သည် ယေရိခေါ မြို့သို့ သွား ကြ ၏
5 The sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came near to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that the LORD will take away your master from over you today?” He answered, “Yes, I know it. Hold your peace.”
၅ထိုမြို့၌ရှိသောပရောဖက် အမျိုးသား တို့သည် ဧလိရှဲ ထံသို့ လာ ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ကိုယ်တော် သခင် ကို ကိုယ်တော် ခေါင်း မှ ၊ ယနေ့ နှုတ် သွားတော်မူမည်ကို သိ တော်မူသလော ဟုမေး လျှင် ၊ ဟုတ်ကဲ့ငါ သိ ၏။ တိတ်ဆိတ် စွာ နေကြပါဟု ပြော ဆို၏
6 Elijah said to him, “Please wait here, for the LORD has sent me to the Jordan.” He said, “As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you.” Then they both went on.
၆ဧလိယ ကလည်း ဤ အရပ်၌ နေရစ် ပါလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ငါ့ ကိုယော်ဒန် မြစ်သို့ စေလွှတ် တော်မူ သည်ဟုဆို လျှင် ၊ ဧလိရှဲက၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အသက် ၊ ကိုယ်တော် အသက်ရှင် တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ၊ ကိုယ်တော် နှင့်အကျွန်ုပ်မ ကွာ ရပါဟု ပြန် ပြောလျက်၊ ထိုသူ နှစ် ယောက်တို့သည် အတူသွား ကြ၏
7 Fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood opposite them at a distance; and they both stood by the Jordan.
၇ပရောဖက် အမျိုးသား ငါးကျိပ် တို့သည် အဝေး က ကြည့်ရှု ခြင်းငှါ သွား ၍ ရပ် နေကြ၏။ ထို သူနှစ် ယောက်တို့ သည် ယော်ဒန် မြစ်နား မှာ ရပ် နေကြ၏
8 Elijah took his mantle, and rolled it up, and struck the waters; and they were divided here and there, so that they both went over on dry ground.
၈ဧလိယ သည် မိမိ ဝတ်လုံ ကိုယူ ၍ လိပ် ပြီးမှ ၊ ရေ ကိုရိုက် သဖြင့် ရေသည် တဘက် တချက်ကွဲ ၍ ၊ ထို သူ နှစ် ယောက်တို့သည် မြေ ပေါ် မှာ ရှောက်သွား ကြ၏
9 When they had gone over, Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask what I shall do for you, before I am taken from you.” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be on me.”
၉မြစ် တဘက် သို့ ရောက်သောအခါ ၊ ဧလိယ က၊ သင် နှင့် ငါမ ကွာ မှီ ငါ ၌တစုံတခုသောဆုကို တောင်း လော့ဟု ဧလိရှဲ အား ဆို လျှင်၊ ဧလိရှဲ က၊ ကိုယ်တော် ဝိညာဉ် နှစ်ဆ သောအဘို့ ကို အကျွန်ုပ် အပေါ် မှာ ရှိ ပါစေသောဟု တောင်း သော်၊ “
10 He said, “You have asked a hard thing. If you see me when I am taken from you, it will be so for you; but if not, it will not be so.”
၁၀ဧလိယကသင်သည်ရ ခဲသောဆုကို တောင်း ၏။ သင် နှင့် ငါ ကွာ သည်ကို မြင် လျှင် ရ မည်။ သို့မဟုတ် မ ရ ဟု ပြော ဆို၏
11 As they continued on and talked, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire separated them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
၁၁ထိုသို့နှုတ်ဆက်လျက်သွားကြစဉ်တွင်၊ မီး ရထား နှင့် မီး မြင်း တို့သည် ပေါ် လာ၍ ထို သူနှစ် ယောက်တို့ကို ခွဲခွါ သဖြင့် ၊ ဧလိယ သည် လေဘွေ အားဖြင့် ကောင်းကင် သို့ တက် လေ၏
12 Elisha saw it, and he cried, “My father, my father, the chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” He saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.
၁၂ဧလိရှဲ သည် ကြည့် မြင်လျှင် ငါ့ အဘ ၊ ငါ့ အဘ ၊ ဣသရေလ ရထား ၊ ဣသရေလ မြင်း ပါတကားဟု ဟစ် သော်လည်း ၊ နောက် တဖန် ဧလိယ ကိုမ မြင် ရ။ မိမိ အဝတ် ကို ကိုင် ၍ နှစ် ပိုင်း ဆုတ် လေ၏
13 He also took up Elijah’s mantle that fell from him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan.
၁၃အောက်သို့ကျ သော ဧလိယ ဝတ်လုံ ကို ကောက် ၍ ပြန် လေ၏။ ယော်ဒန် မြစ်နား မှာ ရပ် ၍၊ “
14 He took Elijah’s mantle that fell from him, and struck the waters, and said, “Where is the LORD, the God of Elijah?” When he also had struck the waters, they were divided apart, and Elisha went over.
၁၄ရေ ကို ဝတ်လုံ နှင့် ရိုက် လျက် ၊ ဧလိယ ကိုးကွယ်သော ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား သည် အဘယ် မှာရှိတော်မူသနည်းဟူ၍တဖန် ရိုက် သောအခါ ၊ ရေ သည် တဘက် တချက်ကွဲ သဖြင့် ဧလိရှဲ သည် ကူး သွား၏
15 When the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho facing him saw him, they said, “The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” They came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.
၁၅ယေရိခေါ မြို့မှာ ကြည့်ရှု သော ပရောဖက် အမျိုးသား တို့သည် ဧလိရှဲကို မြင်လျှင်၊ ဧလိယ ၏ ဝိညာဉ် သည် ဧလိရှဲ အပေါ် မှာ ကျိန်းဝပ် သည်ဟုဆို လျက် ခရီးဦး ကြိုပြုအံ့သောငှါ သွား ၍ သူ့ ရှေ့ ၌ မြေ ပေါ် မှာ ပြပ်ဝပ် ကြ၏
16 They said to him, “See now, there are with your servants fifty strong men. Please let them go and seek your master. Perhaps the LORD’s Spirit has taken him up, and put him on some mountain or into some valley.” He said, “Don’t send them.”
၁၆သူတို့ကလည်း၊ ကိုယ်တော် ကျွန် တို့၌ ခွန်အား ကြီးသောသူ ငါးကျိပ် ရှိ ပါ၏။ သူတို့သည်သွား ၍ ကိုယ်တော် ၏ သခင် ကိုရှာ မည်အကြောင်း၊ အခွင့်ပေး တော်မူပါ။ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ဝိညာဉ် တော်သည်သူ့ ကို ချီ ယူ၍ တစုံတခု သောတောင် ပေါ်၌ ဖြစ်စေ၊ ချိုင့် ထဲသို့ ဖြစ်စေချကောင်းချ တော်မူလိမ့်မည်ဟု အခွင့်တောင်း လျှင် ၊ မ စေလွှတ် ကြနှင့်ဟု ဧလိရှဲသည် မြစ်တားသော်လည်း၊”
17 When they urged him until he was ashamed, he said, “Send them.” Therefore they sent fifty men; and they searched for three days, but didn’t find him.
၁၇သူတို့သည် ဧလိရှဲ စိတ် အားလျော့သည် တိုင်အောင် အလွန် တောင်းပန်သောအခါ၊ စေလွှတ် ကြဟု ဆို ၏။ သူတို့သည် လူ ငါးကျိပ် ကို စေလွှတ် သဖြင့် ၊ သုံး ရက် ပတ်လုံးရှာ ၍ မ တွေ့ နိုင်ကြ
18 They came back to him while he stayed at Jericho; and he said to them, “Didn’t I tell you, ‘Don’t go’?”
၁၈ဧလိရှဲ သည် ယေရိခေါ မြို့မှာ နေ သေးသည် ဖြစ်၍၊ လူတို့သည် ပြန် လာသောအခါ ၊ မ သွား ကြနှင့်ဟု ငါမြစ်တား သည် မ ဟုတ်လော ဟု ဆို ၏
19 The men of the city said to Elisha, “Behold, please, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees; but the water is bad, and the land is barren.”
၁၉ထိုမြို့ သား တို့က၊ ကိုယ်တော် မြင် တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ၊ ဤမြို့ တည် ရာအရပ် သည်သာယာ ပါ၏။ သို့ရာတွင် ရေ မ ကောင်း၊ မြေ လည်း ကိုယ်ဝန် ပျက်စေတတ် ပါသည်ဟု ဧလိရှဲ အား လျှောက် ကြလျှင်၊ “
20 He said, “Bring me a new jar, and put salt in it.” Then they brought it to him.
၂၀ဧလိရှဲက၊ ဘူး သစ် တလုံးကို ဆား ထည့် ၍ ယူ ခဲ့ ကြလော့ဟုဆို သည်အတိုင်း ယူ ခဲ့ကြ၏
21 He went out to the spring of the waters, and threw salt into it, and said, “The LORD says, ‘I have healed these waters. There shall not be from there any more death or barren wasteland.’”
၂၁ဧလိရှဲသည် စမ်း ရေတွင်းသို့ သွား ၍ ဆား ကိုခတ် လျက် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား ဤ ရေ ကို ငါ ချိုစေ၏။ နောက် တဖန် သေ စေမည်အကြောင်း၊ ကိုယ်ဝန် ပျက်စေမည်အကြောင်းကို မ ပြု ရဟု၊”
22 So the waters were healed to this day, according to Elisha’s word which he spoke.
၂၂ဧလိရှဲ ဆင့်ဆို သော အမိန့် တော်အတိုင်း ထို ရေ သည် ယနေ့ တိုင်အောင် ချို လေ၏
23 He went up from there to Bethel. As he was going up by the way, some youths came out of the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldy! Go up, you baldy!”
၂၃ထို မြို့မှ ဗေသလ မြို့သို့ပြန် ၍ ခရီးသွား စဉ် တွင်၊ လုလင်ပျို တို့သည် မြို့ ထဲ ကထွက် ၍ ၊ ဟေဦးပြည်း ၊ တက် ဦးလော့။ ဟေဦးပြည်း ၊ တက် ဦးလော့ဟု ကဲ့ရဲ့ ကြ၏
24 He looked behind him and saw them, and cursed them in the LORD’s name. Then two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of those youths.
၂၄ဧလိရှဲ သည် လှည့် ကြည့်ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အခွင့် နှင့် ကျိန်ဆို သဖြင့် ၊ ဝံ မနှစ် ကောင်တို့သည် တော ထဲ ကထွက် ၍ လုလင်ပျို လေးကျိပ် နှစ် ယောက်တို့ကို ကိုက် သတ်လေ၏
25 He went from there to Mount Carmel, and from there he returned to Samaria.
၂၅ထို မြို့မှ ကရမေလ တောင် သို့ ၎င်း၊ ထို တောင်မှ ရှမာရိ မြို့သို့၎င်း အစဉ်အတိုင်းသွား ၏
