1 Chronicles 16

1 They brought in God’s ark, and set it in the middle of the tent that David had pitched for it; and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.

तिनीहरूले परमेश्‍वरको सन्‍दूक ल्‍याए, अनि त्‍यसको निम्‍ति दाऊदले टाँगेको पालभित्र बिचमा राखे । तब तिनीहरूले परमेश्‍वरको सामु होमबलि र मेलबलि चढाए ।

2 When David had finished offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the LORD’s name.

दाऊदले होमबल र मेलबलि चढाइसकेपछि, तिनले परमप्रभुको नाउँमा मानिसहरूलाई आशीर्वाद दिए ।

3 He gave to everyone of Israel, both man and woman, to everyone a loaf of bread, a portion of meat, and a cake of raisins.

तिनले हरेक इस्राएली, पुरुष र स्‍त्री दुबैलाई एउटा रोटी, एक टुक्रा मासु र किसमिसको केक खान दिए ।

4 He appointed some of the Levites to minister before the LORD’s ark, and to commemorate, to thank, and to praise the LORD, the God of Israel:

परमप्रभुका सन्‍दूकअघि सेवा गर्न, र परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्‍वरको उत्‍सव मनाउन, धन्‍यवाद चढाउन र प्रशंसा गर्न दाऊदले केही लेवीहरूलाई नियुक्त गरे ।

5 Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with stringed instruments and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;

ती लेवीहरू अगुवा आसाप, तिनीपछि दोस्रा जकरिया, यीएल, शमीरामोत, यहीएल, मत्तित्‍याह, एलीआब, बनायाह, ओबेद-एदोम र यीएल थिए । तिनीहरूले सारङ्गी र वीणा बजाउँथे । आसापले चाहिं ठुलो स्वरमा झ्‍याली बजाउनुपर्थ्यो ।

6 with Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests with shofars continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.

बनायाह र यहासेल पुजारीहरूले परमेश्‍वरका करारको सन्‍दूकको अगि निरन्‍तर रूपमा तुरही बजाउनुपर्थ्यो ।

7 Then on that day David first ordained giving of thanks to the LORD by the hand of Asaph and his brothers.

तब त्‍यस दिन दाऊदले पहिलो पल्‍ट आसाप र तिनका दाजुभाइलाई परमप्रभुको निम्‍ति धन्‍यवादको यो गीत गाउनलाई नियुक्त गरे ।

8 Oh give thanks to the LORD. Call on his name. Make what he has done known amongst the peoples.

परमप्रभुलाई धन्‍यवाद चढाओ, उहाँका नाउँको पुकारा गर, जातिहरूका बीचमा उहाँका कार्यहरू प्रचार गर ।

9 Sing to him. Sing praises to him. Tell of all his marvellous works.

उहाँको निम्‍ति गाओ, उहाँको स्‍तुति गाओ, उहाँका सबै अचम्मका कार्यहरूको बयान गर ।

10 Glory in his holy name. Let the heart of those who seek the LORD rejoice.

उहाँको पवित्र नाउँमा गौरव गर । परमप्रभुको खोजी गर्नेहरूको हृदय आनन्‍दित होस्‌ ।

11 Seek the LORD and his strength. Seek his face forever more.

परमप्रभु र उहाँका शक्तिको खोजी गर । निरन्‍तर उहाँको उपस्‍थिति खोज ।

12 Remember his marvellous works that he has done, his wonders, and the judgements of his mouth,

उहाँले गर्नुभएका अचम्‍मका कामहरू, उहाँका आश्‍चर्यकर्म र उहाँले सुनाउनुभएका फैसलाहरू स्‍मरण गर,

13 you offspring of Israel his servant, you children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

ए उहाँका दास इस्राएलका सन्तान हो, ए याकूबका मानिसहरू, उहाँका चुनिएकाहरू हो ।

14 He is the LORD our God. His judgements are in all the earth.

उहाँ परमप्रभु हाम्रा परमेश्‍वर हुनुहुन्‍छ, समस्‍त पृथ्‍वीमा उहाँका फैसलाहरू रहन्‍छन्‌ ।

15 Remember his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations,

आफ्‍नो करारलाई उहाँले सदासर्वदा स्‍मरण गर्नुहुन्‍छ, हजार पुस्‍तालाई उहाँले आज्ञा गर्नभएका वचन सम्‍झनुहुन्‍छ।

16 the covenant which he made with Abraham, his oath to Isaac.

उहाँले अब्राहामसित बाँध्‍नुभएको करार र इसहाकसँग गर्नुभएको प्रतिज्ञा सम्झनुहुन्छ ।

17 He confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

यस कुरालाई उहाँले आदेशको रूपमा याकूबसित, र इस्राएलसँग अनन्‍त करारको रूपमा पुष्‍टि गर्नुभयो ।

18 saying, “I will give you the land of Canaan, The lot of your inheritance,”

उहाँले भन्‍नुभयो “तेरो उत्तराधिकारको तेरो अंशको रूपमा, तँलाई म कनान देश दिनेछु ।”

19 when you were but a few men in number, yes, very few, and foreigners in it.

तिनीहरू थोरै सङ्ख्यामा मात्र हुँदा, साह्रै थोरै हुँदा र तिनीहरू त्‍यो देशमा विदेशीहरू थिए,

20 They went about from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people.

तिनीहरू एक जातिबाट अर्को जातिमा, र एक राज्‍यबाट अर्को राज्‍यमा फिरन्‍ता भए ।

21 He allowed no man to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,

उहाँले कसैलाई पनि तिनीहरूमाथि अत्‍याचार गर्न दिनुभएन । तिनीहरूका खातिर उहाँले राजाहरूलाई दण्ड दिनुभयो ।

22 “Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”

उहाँले भन्‍नुभयो, “मेरा अभिषिक्त जनहरूलाई नछोओ, र मेरा अगमवक्ताहरूलाई केही हानि नगर ।”

23 Sing to the LORD, all the earth! Display his salvation from day to day.

हे सारा पृथ्‍वी, परमप्रभुको निम्‍ति गाओ, दिनहुँ उहाँले दिनुभएको उद्धारको घोषणा गर ।

24 Declare his glory amongst the nations, and his marvellous works amongst all the peoples.

जातिहरूका बिचमा उहाँका महिमाको घोषणा गर, सारा जातिहरूका बिचमा उहाँका अचम्‍मका कामहरूको वर्णन गर ।

25 For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised. He also is to be feared above all gods.

किनकि परमप्रभु महान्‌ हुनुहुन्‍छ, र उच्‍च प्रशंसा हुनुपर्छ, र सारा देवताहरूभन्‍दा बढी उहाँकै भय राखिनुपर्छ ।

26 For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.

किनकि जातिहरूका सबै देवताहरू केवल मूर्ति मात्र हुन्, तर परमप्रभुले त आकाशको सृष्‍टि गर्नुभयो ।

27 Honour and majesty are before him. Strength and gladness are in his place.

उहाँको उपस्‍थितिमा प्रताप र गौरव छन्, उहाँको वासस्‍थानमा शक्ति र महिमा छन्‌ ।

28 Ascribe to the LORD, you families of the peoples, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength!

मानिसहरूका वंश हो, परमप्रभुलाई प्रशंसा चढाओ, परमप्रभुलाई महिमा र शक्ति चढाओ ।

29 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come before him. Worship the LORD in holy array.

परमप्रभुलाई उहाँको नाउँअनुसारको महिमा चढाओ । भेटी ल्‍याओ र उहाँको सामु आओ । पवित्रताको वैभवमा परमप्रभुलाई दण्‍डवत्‌ गर ।

30 Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established that it can’t be moved.

हे सारा पृथ्‍वी, उहाँको सामु थरथरी हो । संसार पनि स्थापित भएको छ । यसलाई हल्‍लाउन सकिंदैन ।

31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice! Let them say amongst the nations, “The LORD reigns!”

स्‍वर्ग आनन्‍दित होस्, र पृथ्‍वी रमाओस् । तिनले जातिहरूका बीचमा भनून्, “परमप्रभु नै राज्‍य गर्नुहुन्‍छ ।”

32 Let the sea roar, and its fullness! Let the field exult, and all that is in it!

समुद्र गर्जियोस् र तिनमा भरिएका सबै थोकले हर्षनाद गरून्‌ । जमिन र त्‍यसमा भएका सबै कुरा उल्‍लसित होऊन्‌ ।

33 Then the trees of the forest will sing for joy before the LORD, for he comes to judge the earth.

अनि जङ्गलमा भएका रूखहरू परमप्रभुको सम्मुख आनन्दले गाउन्, किनकि उहाँ पृथ्‍वीको न्‍याय गर्न आउँदै हुनुहुन्छ ।

34 Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

परमप्रभुलाई धन्‍यवाद देओ, किनकि उहाँ असल हुनुहुन्‍छ, किनकि उहाँको करारको विश्‍वस्‍तताको सदासर्वदा रहन्‍छ ।

35 Say, “Save us, God of our salvation! Gather us together and deliver us from the nations, to give thanks to your holy name, to triumph in your praise.”

तब यसो भन, “हे हाम्रा उद्धारका परमेश्‍वर, हामीलाई बचाउनुहोस्‌ । हामीलाई एकसाथ भेला गर्नुहोस्, र अरू जातिहरूबाट छुटकारा हामीलाई दिनुहोस्, ताकि हामी तपाईंको पवित्र नाउँलाई धन्‍यवाद दिन, र तपाईंको प्रशंसामा महिमा दिन सकौं ।”

36 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting. All the people said, “Amen,” and praised the LORD.

परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्‍वरको, सदासर्वदै प्रशंसा होस्‌ । सबै मानिसहरूले “आमेन” भने र परमप्रभुको स्‍तुति गरे ।”

37 So he left Asaph and his brothers there before the ark of the LORD’s covenant, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required;

यसैले दाऊदले दिन-दिनको आवश्‍यक काम निरन्‍तर रूपमा गर्न त्‍यहाँ परमप्रभुका करारको सन्‍दूकको सामु आसाप र तिनका दाजुभाइलाई राखे ।

38 and Obed-Edom with their sixty-eight relatives; Obed-Edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;

ओबेद-एदोम र तिनका अठसट्ठी जना आफन्तहरू पनि समावेश गरिएका थिए । यदूदूनका छोरा ओबेद-एदोम र होसा द्वारपालहरू भए ।

39 and Zadok the priest and his brothers the priests, before the LORD’s tabernacle in the high place that was at Gibeon,

सादोक पुजारी र तिनका मित्र पुजारीहरूलर गिबोन डाँडामा भएको परमप्रभुको पवित्र वासस्‍थानको सामु सेवा गर्नुपर्थ्‍यो ।

40 to offer burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the LORD’s law, which he commanded to Israel;

परमप्रभुको व्‍यवस्‍थामा लेखिएका सबै कुराबमोजिम तिनीहरूले बिहान र बेलुकी निरन्‍तर रूपमा परमप्रभुको निम्‍ति वेदीमा होमबलि चढाउनुपर्थ्यो । यो कुरा उहाँले इस्राएललाई आज्ञाको रूपमा दिनुभयो ।

41 and with them Heman and Jeduthun and the rest who were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his loving kindness endures forever;

तिनीहरूसँगै हेमान र यदूतून र नाउँ लिएर चुनिएका मानिसहरू परमप्रभुलाई धन्‍यवाद चढाउन खटाइए, किनभने उहाँ करार विश्‍वस्‍तता सदासर्वदै रहिरहन्‍छ ।

42 and with them Heman and Jeduthun with shofars and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God, and the sons of Jeduthun to be at the gate.

पवित्र भजनको निम्‍ति तुरहीहरू र झ्‍यालीहरू र अरू बाजाहरू बजाउनेका निरीक्षक हेमान र यदूतून थिए । यदूतूनका छोराहरूले मूल ढोकाको रेखदेख गर्थे ।

43 All the people departed, each man to his house; and David returned to bless his house.

तब सबै मानिसहरू आ-आफ्‍नो घर फर्के, र दाऊदचाहिं आफ्‍नो परिवारलाई आशीर्वाद दिन गए ।
