< Psalms 80 >
1 For the Chief Musician. To the tune of “The Lilies of the Covenant.” A Psalm by Asaph. Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine out.

2 Before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh, stir up your might! Come to save us!
Ephraim, Benjamin hoi Manasseh hmaa ah, na thaa pathok ah, angzo ah loe, kaicae hae pahlong ah.
3 Turn us again, God. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
Aw Sithaw, kaicae hae angthasak let ah loe, na mikhmai to aangsak ah; to tiah nahaeloe pahlong ah ka om o tih.
4 Yahweh God of Armies, how long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?
Aw misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng Sithaw, nangmah ih kaminawk lawkthuihaih nuiah nasetto maw palung na phui thuih han vop?
5 You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure.
Nihcae to mikkhraetui takaw hoiah na pacah moe, boengloeng kakoi ah mikkhraetui naek hanah nihcae to na paek boeh.
6 You make us a source of contention to our neighbors. Our enemies laugh among themselves.
Ka imtaeng kaminawk mah palungphui thuih hanah nang sak, ka misanawk mah kaicae ang pahnuih o thuih boeh.
7 Turn us again, God of Armies. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
Aw misatuh kaminawk ih Sithaw, kaicae hae angthasak let ah loe, na mikhmai to aangsak ah; to tih nahaeloe pahlong ah ka om o tih.
8 You brought a vine out of Egypt. You drove out the nations, and planted it.
Misurkung to Izip prae hoiah nang sinh; Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk to na haek bit pacoengah, na thlingh.
9 You cleared the ground for it. It took deep root, and filled the land.
Thlingh hanah long to na takaeh, tangzun na saksak moe, prae thungah na koisak.
10 The mountains were covered with its shadow. Its boughs were like God’s cedars.
Anih ih tahlip mah maenawk to khuk moe, anih ih tanghangnawk mah thacak Sidar thingnawk to khuk.
11 It sent out its branches to the sea, its shoots to the River.
Anih ih tanghang loe tuipui khoek to phak, tadoknawk doeh vapui khoek to phak.
12 Why have you broken down its walls, so that all those who pass by the way pluck it?
Tipongah loklam ah kacaeh kaminawk boih mah misurthaih pakhrik o hanah, takha to na phraek ving loe?
13 The boar out of the wood ravages it. The wild animals of the field feed on it.
Pangaeh mah akung to amuui moe, taw ih moisannawk mah caak o boeh.
14 Turn again, we beg you, God of Armies. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vine,
Aw misatuh kaminawk ih Sithaw, angqoi let hanah, kang pacae o; van hoiah dan tathuk ah, hae misurkung hae khet hanah angzo ah;
15 the stock which your right hand planted, the branch that you made strong for yourself.
na bantang ban hoiah akung to na thlingh, nangmah hanah tanghang to tha na caksak.
16 It’s burned with fire. It’s cut down. They perish at your rebuke.
Akung loe hmai hoiah thlaek moe, pakhruk ving boeh; na mikhmai hoi thuitaek ih kaminawk loe amro o boih boeh.
17 Let your hand be on the man of your right hand, on the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.
Na bantang bang ih kami hoi nangmah han tha na caksak ih kami capa nuiah na ban to koeng nasoe.
18 So we will not turn away from you. Revive us, and we will call on your name.
To tiah nahaeloe nang to kang qoi o taak mak ai; na hmin kang kawk o hanah, kaicae hae pathawk ah.
19 Turn us again, Yahweh God of Armies. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.
