< Psalms 70 >
1 For the Chief Musician. By David. A reminder. Hurry, God, to deliver me. Come quickly to help me, Yahweh.
David ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. Kukuɖeɖe. O! Mawu, netsɔ nàɖem; O! Yehowa, va kaba nàxɔ nam.
2 Let them be disappointed and confounded who seek my soul. Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.
Ŋukpe kple tɔtɔ neva ame siwo le nye agbe yome tim la dzi. Ame siwo le nye gbegblẽ dim la negbugbɔ ɖe megbe kple ŋukpe.
3 Let them be turned because of their shame who say, “Aha! Aha!”
Na be ame siwo le gbɔgblɔm be, “Ɛhɛ̃! Ɛhɛ̃!” la natrɔ megbe adzo kple ŋukpe.
4 Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your salvation continually say, “Let God be exalted!”
Ke ame siwo dia wò la netso aseye; woakpɔ dzidzɔ le mewò, eye ame siwo lɔ̃a wò xɔname la negblɔ ɖaa be, “Woado Mawu ɖe dzi ɖaa!”
5 But I am poor and needy. Come to me quickly, God. You are my help and my deliverer. Yahweh, don’t delay.
Ke nye la, O Mawu, meda ahe, eye hiã tum, eya ta va gbɔnye kaba. O! Yehowa, mègahe ɖe megbe o, elabena wòe nye nye xɔnametɔ kple nye Ɖela.
