< Psalms 62 >
1 For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm by David. My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him.
Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo. De ma Yedutun. Dawid dwom. Me kra wɔ ahomegye wɔ Onyankopɔn nko ara mu; me nkwagye fi ne nkyɛn.
2 He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress. I will never be greatly shaken.
Ampa, ɔyɛ me botan ne me nkwagye; ɔyɛ mʼabandennen, hwee renhinhim me da.
3 How long will you assault a man? Would all of you throw him down, like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?
Mobɛkɔ so ahyɛ onipa so akosi da bɛn, mo nyinaa besum me ahwe fam ana? Ɔfasu a akyea yi, ban a ɛrebu yi?
4 They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah)
Ampa, wɔayɛ adwene se wobetu no afi ne dibea a ɛkorɔn no so; wɔn ani gye atorodi ho. Wɔde wɔn ano hyira na wɔn koma mu de, wɔdome.
5 My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.
Yiw me kra, gye wʼahome wɔ Onyankopɔn nko ara mu; na ne mu na mʼanidaso wɔ.
6 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken.
Ampa, ɔyɛ me botan ne me nkwagye; ɔyɛ mʼabandennen, hwee renhinhim me.
7 My salvation and my honor is with God. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Me nkwagye ne mʼanuonyam gyina Onyankopɔn so; ɔyɛ me botan a ɛkorɔn, ne me guankɔbea.
8 Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. (Selah)
Mo nnipa, momfa mo ho nto ne so daa; monka mo koma mu nsɛm nyinaa nkyerɛ no, efisɛ Onyankopɔn ne yɛn guankɔbea.
9 Surely men of low degree are just a breath, and men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath.
Nnipa nyinaa te sɛ home; akɛse ne nkumaa nyinaa nka hwee; sɛ wɔkari wɔn wɔ nsania so a, wɔnka hwee; wɔn nyinaa bɔ mu a wɔyɛ home nko.
10 Don’t trust in oppression. Don’t become vain in robbery. If riches increase, don’t set your heart on them.
Mommfa mo ho nto asisi so na monnhoahoa mo ho akorɔnne ho; ɛwɔ mu sɛ mo ahonya dɔɔso de, nanso mommfa mo koma nto so.
11 God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.
Asɛm baako na Onyankopɔn aka, nsɛm abien na mate sɛ, wo, Onyankopɔn, na wowɔ ahoɔden,
12 Also to you, Lord, belongs loving kindness, for you reward every man according to his work.
na wo, Awurade, na woyɛ adɔe, ampa ara wubetua obiara ka sɛnea nʼadwuma te.
