Psalms 55
1 For the Chief Musician. On stringed instruments. A contemplation by David. Listen to my prayer, God. Don’t hide yourself from my supplication.
ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ತಂತಿವಾದ್ಯದೊಡನೆ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು. ಮಸ್ಕಿಲ್ ರಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾವೀದನು ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ.
2 Attend to me, and answer me. I am restless in my complaint, and moan
ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಲೈಸಿರಿ, ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡಿರಿ. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಚಿಂತೆಯಿಂದ ದುಃಖಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬೇಸರವಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
3 because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked. For they bring suffering on me. In anger they hold a grudge against me.
ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಗರ್ಜನೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಬೆದರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ನರಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ, ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
4 My heart is severely pained within me. The terrors of death have fallen on me.
ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನೊಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಮರಣದ ಬೆದರಿಕೆಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿವೆ.
5 Fearfulness and trembling have come on me. Horror has overwhelmed me.
ಭಯವೂ ನಡುಗೂ ನನಗೆ ಬಂದಿವೆ; ಭೀತಿಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದೆ.
6 I said, “Oh that I had wings like a dove! Then I would fly away, and be at rest.
“ಓ, ಪಾರಿವಾಳದಂತೆ ನನಗೆ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ, ಹಾರಿಹೋಗಿ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ.
7 Behold, then I would wander far off. I would lodge in the wilderness.” (Selah)
ನಾನು ದೂರ ಹಾರಿಹೋಗಿ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ.
8 “I would hurry to a shelter from the stormy wind and storm.”
ಚಂಡಮಾರುತದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ,” ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
9 Confuse them, Lord, and confound their language, for I have seen violence and strife in the city.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಗೊಳಿಸಿರಿ, ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಬಿಡಿರಿ. ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರವನ್ನೂ ವಿವಾದವನ್ನೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
10 Day and night they prowl around on its walls. Malice and abuse are also within her.
ಅವರು ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗೋಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕೇಡು ಅನಾಚಾರಗಳು ಅದರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವೆ.
11 Destructive forces are within her. Threats and lies don’t depart from her streets.
ನಾಶಕರ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳು ನಗರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವೆ. ಬೀದಿಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬೆದರಿಕೆಯೂ ವಂಚನೆಯೂ ತೊಲಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
12 For it was not an enemy who insulted me, then I could have endured it. Neither was it he who hated me who raised himself up against me, then I would have hidden myself from him.
ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸುವವನು ಶತ್ರುವಲ್ಲ, ಶತ್ರುವಾದರೆ ತಾಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿರುವವನು ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅವನಿಂದ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು.
13 But it was you, a man like me, my companion, and my familiar friend.
ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರನೂ ನನ್ನ ಆಪ್ತನೂ, ನನಗೆ ಸಮನಾದವನೇ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
14 We took sweet fellowship together. We walked in God’s house with company.
ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಾಧಕರ ಗುಂಪಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾವಿಬ್ಬರೂ ನಡೆದು ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಮಧುರ ಅನ್ಯೋನ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದೆವು.
15 Let death come suddenly on them. Let them go down alive into Sheol. For wickedness is among them, in their dwelling. (Sheol h7585)
ಮರಣ ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಟ್ಟನೆ ಹಿಡಿಯಲಿ. ಜೀವಸಹಿತ ಪಾತಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ಇಳಿಯಲಿ, ಅವರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದುಷ್ಟತನವು ಇದೆ. (Sheol h7585)
16 As for me, I will call on God. Yahweh will save me.
ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯುವೆನು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವರು.
17 Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice.
ಸಂಜೆ, ಮುಂಜಾನೆ, ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಂಬಲಿಸಿ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವೆನು. ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವರು.
18 He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, although there are many who oppose me.
ಅನೇಕರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದರೂ ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಆಗುವ ಯುದ್ಧಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾವುದೇ ಹಾನಿಯಾಗದಂತೆ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸುವರು.
19 God, who is enthroned forever, will hear and answer them. (Selah) They never change and don’t fear God.
ಆದಿಯಿಂದ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಾರೂಢರಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರು, ಅವರ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸುವರು, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಅವರು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ದೇವರು ಬದಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
20 He raises his hands against his friends. He has violated his covenant.
ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಭಂಗಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
21 His mouth was smooth as butter, but his heart was war. His words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords.
ಅವನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಬೆಣ್ಣೆಗಿಂತ ನುಣ್ಣಗಾಗಿವೆ; ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಳಗವಿದೆ; ಅವನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಎಣ್ಣೆಗಿಂತ ನಯವಾಗಿವೆ; ಆದರೆ ಅವು ಬಿಚ್ಚುಗತ್ತಿಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.
22 Cast your burden on Yahweh and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿರಿ. ಅವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿರುವರು. ದೇವರು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ಕದಲಗೊಡಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
23 But you, God, will bring them down into the pit of destruction. Bloodthirsty and deceitful men shall not live out half their days, but I will trust in you.
ಆದರೆ ದೇವರೇ, ದುಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ನಾಶದ ಕುಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿಯ ಮಾಡುವಿರಿ. ಕೊಲೆಪಾತಕರೂ ಮೋಸಗಾರರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಆಯುಷ್ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಧವನ್ನೂ ಜೀವಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನಾದರೋ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
