Psalms 121

1 A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from?

Cantico di Maalot IO alzo gli occhi a' monti, [Per vedere] onde mi verrà aiuto.

2 My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.

Il mio aiuto [verrà] dal Signore Che ha fatto il cielo e la terra.

3 He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber.

Egli non permetterà che il tuo piè vacilli; Il tuo Guardiano non sonnecchia.

4 Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

Ecco, il Guardiano d'Israele Non sonnecchia, e non dorme.

5 Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand.

Il Signore [è] quel che ti guarda; Il Signore [è] la tua ombra, [egli è] alla tua man destra.

6 The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

Di giorno il sole non ti ferirà, Nè la luna di notte.

7 Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul.

Il Signore ti guarderà d'ogni male; Egli guarderà l'anima tua.

8 Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more.

Il Signore guarderà la tua uscita e la tua entrata, Da ora, e fino in eterno.
