Proverbs 30
1 The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, the revelation: the man says to Ithiel, to Ithiel and Ucal:
၁ယာကေသားအာဂုရသည် ဣသေလနှင့် ဥကလ ကို ဆုံးမသောတရားစကား ဟူမူကား၊
2 “Surely I am the most ignorant man, and don’t have a man’s understanding.
၂အကယ်စင်စစ် ငါသည် လူမဟုတ်၊ တိရစ္ဆာန် ဖြစ်၏။ လူဥာဏ်နှင့် မပြည့်စုံ။
3 I have not learned wisdom, neither do I have the knowledge of the Holy One.
၃ပညာတရားကို မသင်၊ သန့်ရှင်းသော အရာ တို့ကို မလေ့ကျက်။
4 Who has ascended up into heaven, and descended? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has bound the waters in his garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name, if you know?
၄ကောင်းကင်ဘုံသို့ အဘယ်သူတက်သနည်း။ အဘယ်သူဆင်းလာသနည်း။ အဘယ်သူသည် လေကို မိမိလက်နှင့် ဆုပ်ထားသနည်း။ အဘယ်သူသည် ရေကို အဝတ်နှင့် ထုပ်ထားသနည်း။ မြေကြီးစွန်းရှိသမျှတို့ကို အဘယ်သူတည်စေသနည်း။ ထိုသို့ပြုသောသူ၏ အမည် နှင့်သူ၏သားအမည်ကား အဘယ်သို့နည်း။ သင်ပြော နိုင်သလော။
5 “Every word of God is flawless. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
၅ဘုရားသခင်၏ စကားတော်ရှိသမျှသည် စင်ကြယ်၏။ ခိုလှုံသောသူအပေါင်းတို့၌ ဘုရားသခင် သည် အကွယ်အကာဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။
6 Don’t you add to his words, lest he reprove you, and you be found a liar.
၆စကားတော်၌ ထပ်၍မသွင်းနှင့်။ သို့ပြုလျှင် အပြစ်တင်တော်မူ၍၊ သင်သည် မုသာသုံးသောသူ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။
7 “Two things I have asked of you. Don’t deny me before I die.
၇ကိုယ်တော်ထံမှာ ဆုနှစ်ပါးကို အကျွန်ုပ်တောင်း ပါ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်မသေမှီတိုင်အောင် ငြင်းတော်မမူပါနှင့်။
8 Remove far from me falsehood and lies. Give me neither poverty nor riches. Feed me with the food that is needful for me,
၈အကျွန်ုပ်မှ အနတ္တနှင့် မုသာကိုပယ်တော်မူပါ။ ဆင်း ရဲခြင်းနှင့် ငွေရတတ်ခြင်းကို ပေးတော်မမူပါနှင့်။ အသက်မွေးလောက်သောပညာကိုသာ ပေးတော်မူပါ။
9 lest I be full, deny you, and say, ‘Who is Yahweh?’ or lest I be poor, and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.
၉သို့မဟုတ်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကြွယ်ဝ၍၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရားကား၊ အဘယ်သူနည်းဟုဆိုလျက်၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို ငြင်းပယ်မည်ဟု ဆိုးရိမ်စရာရှိပါ၏။ သို့မဟုတ်၊ ဆင်းရဲ၍ သူ့ဥစ္စာကိုခိုးသဖြင့်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ ဘုရားသခင် နာမ တော်ကို မုသာနှင့်ဆိုင်၍ မြွက်ဆိုမည်ဟု စိုးရိမ်စရာ ရှိပါ၏။
10 “Don’t slander a servant to his master, lest he curse you, and you be held guilty.
၁၀ကျွန်၏ အကျိုးကိုဖျက်ခြင်းငှါ သူ၏သခင်ကို မပြောနှင့်။ ပြောလျှင်ကျွန်သည် သင့်ကိုကျိန်ဆဲ၍၊ သင်၌ အပြစ်ရောက်မည်ဟု စိုးရိမ်စရာရှိ၏။
11 There is a generation that curses their father, and doesn’t bless their mother.
၁၁အဘကိုကျိန်ဆဲ၍ အမိကိုလည်း ကောင်းကြီး မပေးတတ်သောလူတမျိုး၊
12 There is a generation that is pure in their own eyes, yet are not washed from their filthiness.
၁၂ငါသည် စင်ကြယ်၏ဟု မိမိကိုယ်ထင်သော် လည်း၊ မိမိအညစ်အကြေးမှ မဆေးကြောသေးသော လူတမျိုး၊
13 There is a generation, oh how lofty are their eyes! Their eyelids are lifted up.
၁၃အလွန်စိတ်မြင့်၍ မော်ကြည့်တတ်သော လူတမျိုး၊
14 There is a generation whose teeth are like swords, and their jaws like knives, to devour the poor from the earth, and the needy from among men.
၁၄ဆင်းရဲသောသူတို့ကို မြေကြီးပေါ်က၎င်း၊ ငတ်မွတ်သောသူတို့ကို လူစုထဲက၎င်း၊ ကိုက်စားပယ်ရှင်း စရာဘို့ သန်လျက်နှင့်တူသောသွား၊ ထားနှင့်တူသော အံနှင့် ပြည့်စုံသော လူတမျိုးရှိ၏။
15 “The leech has two daughters: ‘Give, give.’ “There are three things that are never satisfied; four that don’t say, ‘Enough!’:
၁၅မျှော့ကောင်၌ပေးပါနှင့်ပေးပါဟူသော သမီးနှစ် ကောင်ရှိ၏။ အလိုဆန္ဒမပြေနိုင်သော အရာသုံးပါးမက၊ တန်တော့ဟု မဆိုတတ်သော အရာလေးပါးဟူမူကား၊
16 Sheol, the barren womb, the earth that is not satisfied with water, and the fire that doesn’t say, ‘Enough!’ (Sheol h7585)
၁၆သင်္ချိုင်းတပါး၊ မြုံသောမိန်းမဝမ်းတပါး၊ ရေမဝ နိုင်သောမြေတပါး၊ တန်တော့ဟု မဆိုတတ်သော မီးတပါးတည်း။ (Sheol h7585)
17 “The eye that mocks at his father, and scorns obedience to his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, the young eagles shall eat it.
၁၇အဘကိုကျီစားသောသူ၊ အမိ စကားကိုနားမထောင်၊ မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုသောသူ၏ မျက်စိကို ချိုင့်၌ကျင်လည် သောကျီးအတို့သည် နှိုက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ရွှေလင်းတသငယ်တို့သည်လည်း စားကြလိမ့်မည်။
18 “There are three things which are too amazing for me, four which I don’t understand:
၁၈ငါ့ဥာဏ်မမှီနိုင်သော အရာသုံးပါးမက၊ ငါမသိ၊ နားမလည်နိုင်သော အရာလေးပါးဟူမူကား၊
19 The way of an eagle in the air, the way of a serpent on a rock, the way of a ship in the middle of the sea, and the way of a man with a maiden.
၁၉လေ၌ရွှေလင်းတသွားရာလမ်းတပါး၊ ကျောက် ပေါ်မှာ မြွေသွားရာလမ်းတပါး၊ ပင်လယ်အလယ်၌ သင်္ဘောသွားရာလမ်းတပါး၊ အပျိုမနှင့် ယောက်ျားသွား ရာလမ်းတပါးတည်း။
20 “So is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats and wipes her mouth, and says, ‘I have done nothing wrong.’
၂၀မျောက်မထားသော မိန်းမလမ်းလည်း ထိုအတူ ဖြစ်၏။ အစာစားပြီးမှ မိမိပစပ်ကိုသတ်၍၊ ဒုစရိုက်ကို ငါမပြုမိဟုဆိုတတ်၏။
21 “For three things the earth trembles, and under four, it can’t bear up:
၂၁မြေကြီးကို မွှေနှောက်သောအရာသုံးပါးမက၊ မြေကြီးမခံနိုင်သော အရာလေးပါးဟူမူကား၊
22 For a servant when he is king, a fool when he is filled with food,
၂၂မင်းပြုသောကျွန်တပါး၊ ဝစွာစားရသော လူမိုက် တပါး၊
23 for an unloved woman when she is married, and a servant who is heir to her mistress.
၂၃လက်ထပ်သော မိန်းမဆိုးတပါး၊ သခင်မ ဥစ္စာ ကို အမွေခံရသော ကျွန်မတပါးတည်း။
24 “There are four things which are little on the earth, but they are exceedingly wise:
၂၄မြေကြီးပေါ်မှာ သေးနုပ်သော်လည်း၊ အထူး သဖြင့် ပညာရှိသော အရာလေးပါးဟူမူကား၊
25 The ants are not a strong people, yet they provide their food in the summer.
၂၅ခွန်အားမရှိသောအမျိုးဖြစ်သော်လည်း၊ နွေ ကာလ၌ မိမိစားစရာကို ပြင်ဆင်တတ်သော ပရွက်ဆိတ် တပါး၊
26 The hyraxes are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks.
၂၆မသန်စွမ်းသော အမျိုးဖြစ်သော်လည်း၊ ကျောက် တွင်း၌ နေရာချတတ်သော ရှာဖန်ယုန်တပါး၊
27 The locusts have no king, yet they advance in ranks.
၂၇မင်းမရှိသော်လည်း၊ တပ်ဖွဲ့၍ အစဉ်အတိုင်း သွားတတ်သောကျိုင်းတပါး၊
28 You can catch a lizard with your hands, yet it is in kings’ palaces.
၂၈လက်ဖြင့်ကိုင်ဆွဲ၍၊ နန်းတော်၌ပင် နေတတ် သော အိမ်မြှောင်တပါးတည်း။
29 “There are three things which are stately in their march, four which are stately in going:
၂၉ကောင်းစွာသွားတတ်သော အရာသုံးပါးမက၊ အသွားလှသော အရာလေးပါးဟူမူကား၊
30 The lion, which is mightiest among animals, and doesn’t turn away for any;
၃၀တိရစ္ဆာန်တကာတို့ထက် ခွန်အားကြီး၍၊ အဘယ်သူကိုမျှ မရှောင်တတ်သော ခြင်္သေ့တပါး၊
31 the greyhound; the male goat; and the king against whom there is no rising up.
၃၁စစ်မြင်းတပါး၊ ဆိတ်ထီးတပါး၊ အဘယ်သူမျှ မဆီးတားနိုင်သော ရှင်ဘုရင်တပါးတည်း။
32 “If you have done foolishly in lifting up yourself, or if you have thought evil, put your hand over your mouth.
၃၂သင်သည် ကိုယ်ကိုချီးမြှောက်၍ မိုက်သောအမှု ကို ပြုမိသော်၎င်း၊ မကောင်းသော အကြံကိုကြံမိ သော်၎င်း၊ သင်၏နှုတ်ကို လက်နှင့်ပိတ်ထားလော့။
33 For as the churning of milk produces butter, and the wringing of the nose produces blood, so the forcing of wrath produces strife.”
၃၃အကယ်စင်စစ် နို့ကိုမွှေလျှင် ထောပတ်တွက် တတ်၏။ နှာခေါင်းကိုဆွဲလိမ်လျှင် အသွေးထွက်တတ်၏။ ထိုနည်းတူ၊ ဒေါသကိုနှိုးဆော်လျှင် ခိုက်ရန်ထွက်တတ်၏။
