< Matthew 5 >

1 Seeing the multitudes, he went up onto the mountain. When he had sat down, his disciples came to him.
Yesu ejile alola chise cha bhanu bhafu, nalibhata okugenda mwibhanga. Anu aliga enyanjile ansi, abheigisibhwa bhae nibhamujako.
2 He opened his mouth and taught them, saying,
Nafumbula omunwa gwae nabheigisha naikati,
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
“Bhana libhando bhanu bhali bhataka bho mwoyo kulwokubha obhukama bhwa mulwile ni bhwebhwe.
4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Bhana libhando bhanu bhali no bhusulumbaye, kulwokubha abhaja okusilisibhwa.
5 Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.
Bhana libhando bhanu bhali bhafula, kulwokubha abhaja okulya omwandu gwe chalo.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.
Bhana libhando bhanu bhali no mweko no bhwila bhwe chimali, kulwokubha abhaja okwigusibhwa.
7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Bhana libhando bhanu bhali ne chigongo kulwokubha abho abhaja okubhona echigongo.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Bhana libhando bhanu bhali ne mioyo ja kisi kulwokubha abhaja okumulola Nyamuanga.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
Bhana libhando bhanu bhalibhagwatanisha kulwokubha abho abhaja okubhilikilwa bhana bha Nyamuanga.
10 Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
Bhana libhando bhanu abhanyasibhwa ku chimali, kulwokubha obhukama bha mulwile ni bhwebhwe.
11 “Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Muna libhando emwe bhanu omufumwa no kunyasibhwa, no kubhaika bhulibhubhibhi ingulu yemwe kwo lubheyi ingulu yani.
12 Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Mukondelelwe no kusandabha kulwokubha omuyelo gwemwe ni munene ingulu mukwile. Kulwokubha nikwo kutyo abhanu bhabhanyasishe abhalagi bhanu bhekae inyuma yemwe.
13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men.
Emwe ni munyu gwe chalo. Tali omunyu gukabhusha obhunule bhago, eikolekanaatiki okukola omunyu gundi gwa kisi? Payi itakubha lindi ya kisi kulwe chinu chonachona chindi, talini kweshwa anja nokulibhatwa na magulu ga bhanu.
14 You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.
Emwe ni bhwelu bhwe chalo. Omusi gunu gumbakilwe ku chima gutakwiseleka.
15 Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.
Kulwokubha abhanu bhatakukongesha olumuli nokuluta emwalo ye chikapo, tali ku nengo, neibhamulikila bhona bhanu bhali munyumba.
16 Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Musige obhwelu bhwemwe bhumulike imbele ya bhanu koleleki abhanu bhabhilole ebhikolwa bhyemwe ebhyakisi no kumulamhya Lata Bhugenyi unu ali mulwile.
17 “Don’t think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn’t come to destroy, but to fulfill.
Mutaja kwitogelati nijile okuinyamula ishelia na bhalagi. Nitejile kunyamula tali okukumisha.
18 For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished.
Kulwechimali enibhabhwilati okukinga insi ne chalo okulabhao italio egambo amwi etone limwi lya ishelia eisosibhwao amwi ya jishelia okukingao bhuli chinu chilabha chikumisibhwe.
19 Therefore, whoever shall break one of these least commandments and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Kulwejo onaona unu katasha chilagilo chitilu kubhilagilo bhinu no kubheigisha abhandi okukola kutyo kabhilikilwa mulela mu bhukama bhwa mulwile. Tali unu onaona unu kajigwata no kwiigisha kabhilikilwa mukulu mubhukama bhwa mulwile.
20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Kulwokubha enibhabhwila obhulengelesi bhwemwe bhukalema okila obhulengelesi bhwa bhandiki na mafalisayo kulwejo mutakwingila mu bhukama bha mulwile.
21 “You have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, ‘You shall not murder;’ and ‘Whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment.’
Mwonguhye na jandikilwe kala ati,”utaja kwita na onaona unu keta ali muntambala ya indamu.'
22 But I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause will be in danger of the judgment. Whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ will be in danger of the council. Whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of Gehenna. (Geenna g1067)
Tali enibhabhwila oneone unu kamwiganilisha kubhibhi owabho ali muntambala ya indamu. Na unu kamubhwila owabho ati,'awe uli munu unu uteile,'kabha ali mundamu ye chinyanjo. Na onaona unu kaika ati,'Mumumu awe'kabha ali muntambala yo mulilo gwa kajanende. (Geenna g1067)
23 “If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you,
Kulwejo labha ousosha echitambo chao kuchitambilo na wichuke ati labha mumula wanyu ali na ligambo nawe,
24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
Nusige echiyanwa chao kuchigabhilo na umulubhe, mungwane kwamba nowanyu oyo, na ukamala uje niwo usoshe echiyanwa chao.
25 Agree with your adversary quickly while you are with him on the way; lest perhaps the prosecutor deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison.
Yungwana no musoko wao bhwangu, uli amwi nage munjila nimugenda mwibhalaja, labha jitalikutyo omusoko wao katula okukusiga mumabhoko go mulamusi, no mulamusi akusige mumabhoko go musilikale, no weswa mulunyolo.
26 Most certainly I tell you, you shall by no means get out of there until you have paid the last penny.
Mwikilishe enibhabhwila ati, uli utakutesulilwa okukinga anu ulaliila jimpilya jona jinu outongwa.
27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery;’
Mwonguywe jaikilwe ati, utabhamulomesi.
28 but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.
'Tali enibhabhwilati oneone unu kamulola omugasi no kumuligila amalile kumulomela mumwoyo gwae.
29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna. (Geenna g1067)
Nalabha eliso lyao elyobhulyo elikola nuwikujula, lisoshemo na ulyese kula nawe. Kulwokubha jikwiile akili echiungo chimwi kumubhili gwao chinyamke kuliko mubhili gwona okweswa mu jehanamu. (Geenna g1067)
30 If your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna. (Geenna g1067)
Nalabha okubhoko kwao okwebhulyo okukola wikujule, kuteme naukwese kula nawe. Kulwokubha akili echiungo chimwi chinyamke kuliko mubhili gwona okweswa mu jehanamu. (Geenna g1067)
31 “It was also said, ‘Whoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorce,’
Jilomelwe ona, onaona unu kamubhilimya omugasi wae, na amuyane na inyalubha yo bhutagani.
32 but I tell you that whoever puts away his wife, except for the cause of sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is put away commits adultery.
Tali anye enibhabhila onaona unu kamusiga omugasi wae, jitabhee ku nsonga yo bhulomesi, kamukola mulomesi. Na unu ona kamtwala ayanibhwe inyalubha yo bhutagani ona kakola obhulomesi.
33 “Again you have heard that it was said to the ancient ones, ‘You shall not make false vows, but shall perform to the Lord your vows,’
Nalindi munguhye yaikilwe ku bhakala,'Mtaja kulaila kwo lubheyi, tali musile okulaila kwemwe ku Lata Bhugenyi.
34 but I tell you, don’t swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is the throne of God;
Tali enibhabhwila ati, musige okulaila nakatyali, kulwo lwile, kulwokubha ni kusho lya Nyamuanga.
35 nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of his feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.
Uli hata kulwe chalo, kulwokubha niwo owokuta echitebhe cho kutajila ebhigele bhyae, Uli hata ku jelusalemi, kulwokubha ni musi gwo mukama mukulu
36 Neither shall you swear by your head, for you can’t make one hair white or black.
Uli utalaila ku lwo mutwe gwao, kulwokubha utakutula kukola lufwili lumwi kubha lwelu na kubha lwilafulu.
37 But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.
Tali amagambo gemwe gabhe,'Chimali, chimali, Payi, payi.'kulwokubha ganu agakilao agasoka ku mujabhi.
38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’
Mwonguhywe jaikilwe kutya,'eliso kwe liso, ne lino kwe lino.'
39 But I tell you, don’t resist him who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.
Tali anye enibhabhwila mutajakubhambashanya no munu mujabhi, tali omunu akakubhuma litama lyo bhulyo muindulile nelindi ona.
40 If anyone sues you to take away your coat, let him have your cloak also.
Na onaona unu kenda okugenda nawe mwibhalaja nanakutesha inkanju yao, musigile ne chifwalo chindi.
41 Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.
Na unu kakusinyilisha okulibhata nage maili imwi, genda nage maili ebhili.
42 Give to him who asks you, and don’t turn away him who desires to borrow from you.
Na kuonaona unu kakusabhwa muyane, na utajakumwitebha oneone unu kaja okuyenja libhanja.
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’
Mwonguhwe jaikilwe,'Numwende omutulanwa wao, na umujilile lisungu omusoko.'
44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
Tali enibhabhwila ati, Mubhende abhasoko bhemwe, mubhasabhilwe bhanu abhabhajimya,
45 that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.
Koleleki mubhe bhana bhe somwana wa mulwile. Kulwo kubha kakola lisubha libhakile abhabhibhi na abhekisi, na kabhagwisisha ingubha abhabhibhi na abhekisi.
46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same?
Kulwokubha mukabhenda bhanu abhabhenda emwe omubhona muyeloki? Angu abhalipisha bho bhushulu bhatakukolejo?
47 If you only greet your friends, what more do you do than others? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same?
Na mukabhakesha abhaili bhemwe ela omubhonaki ku bhandi? Angu abhanyamahanga bhatakukola kutyo?
48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
Kulwejo jibheile mubhe bhalengelesi leave kutyo lata bhugenyi wa mulwile ali mulengelesi
