Matthew 15
1 Then Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying,
୧ଦିନେକ୍ କେତେଟା ପାରୁସିମନ୍ ଆରି ଦରମ୍ ଗୁରୁମନ୍ ଜିରୁସାଲାମ୍ ଅନି ଆସି ଜିସୁକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ,
2 “Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don’t wash their hands when they eat bread.”
୨“ଆମର୍ ଆନିଦାଦିମନ୍ ଜନ୍ ରିତିନିତି ଦେଇଆଚତ୍, ସେଟା ସବୁ କାଇକେ ତମର୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ମାନତ୍ନାଇ? ବିଦି ଇସାବେ କାଇବା ଆଗ୍ତୁ ନିକ କରି ଆତ୍ ନ ଦଅତ୍ ।”
3 He answered them, “Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition?
୩ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ତମେ କାଇକେ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଆଦେସ୍ ନ ମାନି ନିଜର୍ ରିତିନିତି ଇସାବେ କାମ୍ କଲାସ୍ନି?”
4 For God commanded, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’
୪ପର୍ମେସର୍ ଆଦେସ୍ ଦେଲାଆଚେ, ମା ବାବାକେ ଆଲାଦ୍କରା । ଆରି କେ ମିସା ନିଜର୍ ବାବା ମାକେ ସାଇପ୍ ଦେଇକରି କାଇବଲି କଇସି ବଇଲେ, ସେ ମରନର୍ ଡଣ୍ଡ୍ ପାଇସି ।
5 But you say, ‘Whoever may tell his father or his mother, “Whatever help you might otherwise have gotten from me is a gift devoted to God,”
୫ମାତର୍ ତମେ ସିକିଆ ଦେଲାସ୍ନି ଜେ, ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍ ଜନ୍ ଦନ୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବାବା ମାକେ ସାଇଜ କରିପାର୍ତା, ସେଟା ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ଦାନ୍ କଲିଆଚି ବଲି କଇଲେ,
6 he shall not honor his father or mother.’ You have made the commandment of God void because of your tradition.
୬“ସେ ଆରି ତାର୍ ବାବା ମାଆର୍ ଦାଇତ୍ ନେବାର୍ ଲଡାନାଇ । ଏନ୍ତାରି ତମେ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଆଦେସ୍ ନ ମାନିକରି ନିଜର୍ ରିତିନିତି ଇସାବେ ଚାଲ୍ଲାସ୍ନି ।
7 You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
୭ଏରେ ଦରମ୍ ଲକ୍ ବଲାଇଅଇବା କୁଟିଆଲ୍ମନ୍, ତମର୍ ବିସଇ ନେଇ ଜିସାଇୟ ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତା କଇରଇବାଟା ଟିକ୍ ଆକା ।”
8 ‘These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
୮ପର୍ମେସର୍ କଇଲାନି, ଏ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ କାତାଇସେ ମକେ ସନ୍ମାନ୍ ଦେଲାଇନି, ମାତର୍ ସେମନର୍ ମନ୍ ମର୍ତେଇଅନି ବେସି ଦୁରିକେ ।
9 And they worship me in vain, teaching as doctrine rules made by men.’”
୯ସେମନ୍ ମକେ ଡାକ୍ବାଟାନେ କାଇ ଅରତ୍ ନାଇ, କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ସେମନ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତିଆର୍କରି ରଇବା ରିତିନିତି ମର୍ ଆଦେସ୍ ବଲି ସିକାଇଲାଇନି ।
10 He summoned the multitude, and said to them, “Hear, and understand.
୧୦ତାର୍ପଚେ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ମନ୍ ଦେଇ ସୁନା ଆରି ବୁଜ୍ବାକେ ଚେସ୍ଟା କରା ।
11 That which enters into the mouth doesn’t defile the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.”
୧୧ଲକର୍ ଟଣ୍ଡେଅନି ଜାଇଟା ବିତ୍ରେ ଗାଲାନି, ସେଟା ତାକେ ଅସୁକଲ୍ ନ କରେ, ମାତର୍ ଜାଇଟା, ତାର୍ ବିତ୍ରେଅନି ବାରଇଆଇସି, ସେଟା ତାକେ ଅସୁକଲ୍ କର୍ସି ।”
12 Then the disciples came and said to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?”
୧୨ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ଜିସୁର୍ ଲଗେ ଆସି ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ତମେ କଇଲା କାତା ପାରୁସିମନ୍କେ ବେସି ବାଦ୍ଲା, ଏଟା କାଇ ତମେ ନାଜାନାସ୍ କି?”
13 But he answered, “Every plant which my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted.
୧୩ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ଜନ୍ ଗଚ୍ମନ୍ ମର୍ ସରଗର୍ ବାବା ରପେ ନାଇ, ସେ ସବୁ ଜିକା ଅଇସି ।
14 Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”
୧୪ସେମନର୍ ବିସଇନେଇ ତେରେପେତେ ଉଆନାଇ । ସେମନ୍ କାଣାମନ୍କେ ବାଟ୍ ଦେକାଉ କାଣାମନ୍ । ଗଟେକ୍ କାଣା ଆରି ଗଟେକ୍ କାଣାକେ ବାଟ୍ଦେକାଇଲେ ଦୁଇ ଲକ୍ ଜାକ କାଲେ ଅଦର୍ବାଇ ।”
15 Peter answered him, “Explain the parable to us.”
୧୫ପିତର୍ କଇଲା, “ଏ କାତା ଆମ୍କେ ନିକ କରି ବୁଜାଇଦେ ।”
16 So Jesus said, “Do you also still not understand?
୧୬ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ଆଜିକେ ଜାକ ବିନ୍ଲକ୍ମନର୍ତେଇ ଅନି ତମର୍ ବୁଜ୍ବା ବପୁ କଣ୍ଡେକ୍ ମିସା ଅଦିକ୍ ଅଏନାଇ ।
17 Don’t you understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly and then out of the body?
୧୭ତମେ ଏତ୍କି ବୁଜାସ୍ ନାଇ କି? ଜନ୍ ଦିନ୍ସୁ ମୁନୁସର୍ ଟଣ୍ଡ୍ବାଟେ ପୁର୍ସି, ସେଟା ପେଟ୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଜାଇସି ଆରି ଗାଗ୍ଡେଅନି ବାରଇ ଜାଇସି ।
18 But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the man.
୧୮ମାତର୍ ଜନ୍ଟା ସବୁ ମୁନୁସର୍ ଟଣ୍ଡେଅନି ବାରଇସି, ସେଟା ତାର୍ ମନ୍ବିତ୍ରେଅନି ଜନମ୍ ଅଇସି ଆରି ସେଟାସେ ତାକେ ଅସୁଚି କର୍ସି ।
19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies.
୧୯କାଇକେବଇଲେ ତାର୍ ମନେ ଜନମ୍ ଅଇଲା କାରାପ୍ ଚିନ୍ତାଇଅନି ସେ ନର୍ମାର୍ବାଟା, କାରାପ୍ କାମ୍ କର୍ବାଟା, ବେସିଆ କାମ୍ କର୍ବାଟା, ଚର୍ବାଟା, ମିଚ୍କାତା କଇବାଟା ଆରି ବିନ୍ଲକର୍ କୁଟ୍କାତା କଇବା ପାରା, ବିନ୍ ବିନ୍ ରକାମର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ନଇଲା କାମ୍ମନ୍ କର୍ସି ।”
20 These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands doesn’t defile the man.”
୨୦“ଏସବୁ କାମ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ଅସୁକଲ୍ କର୍ସି । ମାତର୍ ସେମନ୍ କଇଲା ଇସାବେ ଆତ୍ ନ ଦଇକରି କାଇଲେ, କେ ଅସୁକଲ୍ ନଅଅତ୍ ।”
21 Jesus went out from there and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon.
୨୧ଜିସୁ ସେ ଜାଗା ଚାଡିକରି ସର ଆରି ସିଦନର୍ ସଅରେ ଗାଲା ।
22 Behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders and cried, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, you son of David! My daughter is severely possessed by a demon!”
୨୨ଆରି ଦେକା, ତେଇ ବାସାକରି ରଇଲା ଗଟେକ୍ କିଣାନିୟ ମାଇଜି ଜିସୁର୍ ଲଗେ ଆସି କଇଲା, “ଏ ଦାଉଦ୍ କୁଟୁମର୍ ମାପ୍ରୁ, ମକେ ଦୟାକରା । ମର୍ ଟକିକେ ଡୁମା ଦାର୍ଲା ଆଚେ ଆରି ସେ ବଡେ କସ୍ଟ ପାଇଲାନି ।”
23 But he answered her not a word. His disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away; for she cries after us.”
୨୩ମାତର୍ ଜିସୁ ତାକେ ପଦେକ୍ କାତା ମିସା କଏ ନାଇ । ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ତାର୍ ଲଗେ ଆସି ବାବୁଜିଆ କଲାଇ, “ତାକେ ବିଗି ପାଟାଇ ଦିଆସ୍ । ଦେକା ସେ କେନ୍ତି ଆଉଲିଅଇ ଆମ୍କେ କେଦିଆନ୍ଲାନି?”
24 But he answered, “I wasn’t sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
୨୪ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ଆଜିରଇବା ମେଣ୍ଡାପାରା ବାଟ୍ ବାନା ଅଇଲା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ୍ ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ଲଗେସେ ମୁଇ ଆଇଲି ଆଚି ।”
25 But she came and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, help me.”
୨୫ସେ ମାଇଜି ଆସି ଜିସୁର୍ ଗଡ୍ତଲେ ମାଣ୍ଡିକୁଟା ଦେଇ ଜୁଆର୍ କରି କଇଲା, “ମାପ୍ରୁ ମକେ ଦୟା କରା ।”
26 But he answered, “It is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
୨୬ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ପିଲାମନର୍ କାଦି ନେଇ କୁକୁରର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ପିଙ୍ଗ୍ବାଟା ଟିକ୍ ନାଇ ।”
27 But she said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
୨୭ସେ ମାଇଜି କଇଲା, ଏଟା ସତ୍ କାତା ମାପ୍ରୁ, ମାତର୍ କୁକୁର୍ମନ୍ ମିସା ସାଉକାରର୍ ଅଦର୍ଲା ସକ୍ଡି କାଇବାକେ ପାଇବାଇ ।
28 Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.
୨୮ଜିସୁ ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ତମେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଡାଟ୍ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବା ମାଇଜି । ତୁଇ ମନ୍କଲାଟା ପୁରୁନ୍ ଅଇସି ।” ସେଦାପ୍ରେ ତାର୍ ଟକି ନିମାନ୍ ଅଇଲା ।
29 Jesus departed from there and came near to the sea of Galilee; and he went up on the mountain and sat there.
୨୯ଜିସୁ ତେଇଅନି ବାରଇ ଗାଡ୍ କଣ୍ଡି କଣ୍ଡି ଜାଇ ଗଟେକ୍ ଡଙ୍ଗର୍ ଉପ୍ରେ ବସ୍ଲା ।
30 Great multitudes came to him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others, and they put them down at his feet. He healed them,
୩୦ବେସି ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତାର୍ ଲଗେ ରୁଣ୍ଡ୍ଲାଇ । ସେମନର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଚଟା, କାଣା, ଆତ୍ଗଡ୍ ସୁକିଗାଲାଟା ଆରି ବେସି ଜରର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଆନି, ଜିସୁର୍ ପାଦ୍ ତଲେ ଡୁଲାଇଲାଇ । ଆରି ସେ ସେମନ୍କେ ନିକ କଲା ।
31 so that the multitude wondered when they saw the mute speaking, the injured healed, the lame walking, and the blind seeing—and they glorified the God of Israel.
୩୧ଗୁଲା କାତା ଅଇବାଟା, ସୁକ୍ଲା ଆତ୍ ନିକ ଅଇବାଟା, ଚଟା ଇଣ୍ଡ୍ବାଟା, କାଣା ଦେକିପାର୍ବାଟା ଦେକି ଲକ୍ମନ୍ କାବା ଅଇଗାଲାଇ ଆରି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର୍ ମାପ୍ରୁକେ ଜୁଆର୍ କଲାଇ ।
32 Jesus summoned his disciples and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have continued with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way.”
୩୨ଜିସୁ ସିସ୍ମନ୍କେ ଡାକି କଇଲା, “ଏ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ଦେକି ମକେ ଦୁକ୍ ଲାଗ୍ଲାନି, କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ସେମନ୍ ମର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ ତିନ୍ ଦିନ୍ ଅଇଲାନି ଆଚତ୍ ଆରି ସେମନର୍ ଲଗେ କାଇଟା ମିସା ନାଇ । ସେମନ୍ ନ କାଇ ଇତିଅନି ଉଟିଜାଅତ୍, ଏଟା ମୁଇ ମନ୍ କରି ନାଇ; କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ବାଉଡିଗାଲାବେଲେ ବାଟେ ସେମନ୍ ତାକି ଜାଇ ଅଦର୍ ପଡ୍ ଅଇଜିବାଇ ।”
33 The disciples said to him, “Where could we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?”
୩୩ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ତାକେ କଇଲାଇ, “ଏ ମରୁବାଲିବୁଏଁ ଏତେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ କୁଆଇବାକେ ଆମେ କନ୍ତିଅନି ଏତେକ୍ମାଣ୍ଡ୍ କାଦି ଆନ୍ବୁ?”
34 Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven, and a few small fish.”
୩୪ଜିସୁ ପାଚାର୍ଲା, “ତମର୍ ଲଗେ କେତେଟା ରୁଟି ଆଚେ?” ସେମନ୍ କଇଲାଇ, “ସାତ୍ଟା ରୁଟି ଆରି କେତେଟା ସାନ୍ ମାଚ୍ ଆଚେ ।”
35 He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground;
୩୫ଜିସୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ବୁଏଁ ବସ୍ବାକେ କଇଲା ।
36 and he took the seven loaves and the fish. He gave thanks and broke them, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.
୩୬ତାର୍ପଚେ ସେ ସାତ୍ଟା ରୁଟି ଆରି ମାଚ୍ ନେଇ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ଦନିଅବାଦ୍ ଦେଲା ଆରି ବାଙ୍ଗାଇ କରି ସିସ୍ମନ୍କେ ଦେଲା । ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ସେଟା ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ବାଟାକରି ଦେଲାଇ ।
37 They all ate and were filled. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over.
୩୭ସବୁ ଲକ୍ ପେଟ୍ପୁର୍ତେ କାଇଲାଇ । ଆରି ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ଅଗଲ୍ଲାଟା ସାତ୍ଟାଡାଲାଇ ବର୍ତି କଲାଇ ।
38 Those who ate were four thousand men, in addition to women and children.
୩୮ମାଇଜିଟକି ଆରି ପିଲାମନ୍କେ ଚାଡି ଚାରି ଅଜାର୍ ଲକ୍ ଏ କାଦି କାଇରଇଲାଇ ।
39 Then he sent away the multitudes, got into the boat, and came into the borders of Magdala.
୩୯ଏଟାର୍ ପଚେ ଜିସୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ପାଟାଇ ଦେଇ ଡଙ୍ଗାଇ ଚଗି ମଗ୍ଦାନ୍ ଜାଗାର୍ ସନ୍ଦିଲଗେ ଗାଲା ।
