Leviticus 3
1 “‘If his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he offers it from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without defect before Yahweh.
Que si son oblation est une hostie de sacrifices pacifiques, et qu’il veuille offrir d’entre les bœufs un mâle ou une femelle, il les offrira sans tâche au Seigneur;
2 He shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the Tent of Meeting. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood around on the altar.
Et il mettra la main sur la tête de sa victime qui sera immolée à l’entrée du tabernacle de témoignage, et les fils d’Aaron, prêtres, répandront le sang autour de l’autel.
3 He shall offer of the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire to Yahweh. The fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards,
Et ils offriront de l’hostie des sacrifices pacifiques en oblation au Seigneur, la graisse qui couvre les entrailles et tout ce qu’il y a de graisse au dedans;
4 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.
Les deux reins avec la graisse dont sont couverts les flancs, et la membrane réticulaire du foie avec les reins,
5 Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar on the burnt offering, which is on the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.
Et ils les brûleront sur l’autel en holocauste, le feu ayant été mis sous le bois, en oblation de très suave odeur pour le Seigneur.
6 “‘If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh is from the flock, either male or female, he shall offer it without defect.
Mais si c’est de brebis que se fait l’oblation, et que ce soit une hostie de sacrifices pacifiques, soit qu’il offre un mâle, ou une femelle, ils seront sans tâche,
7 If he offers a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before Yahweh;
Si c’est un agneau qu’il offre devant le Seigneur,
8 and he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting. Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.
Il mettra sa main sur la tête de sa victime, qui sera immolée dans le vestibule du tabernacle de témoignage, et les fils d’Aaron en répandront le sang autour de l’autel,
9 He shall offer from the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire to Yahweh; its fat, the entire tail fat, he shall take away close to the backbone; and the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fat that is on the entrails,
Et ils offriront de l’hostie des sacrifices pacifiques un sacrifice au Seigneur: la graisse et la queue entière
10 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.
Avec les reins, et la graisse qui couvre le ventre et toutes les entrailles, l’un et l’autre rein avec la graisse qui est près des flancs, et la membrane réticulaire du foie avec les reins;
11 The priest shall burn it on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire to Yahweh.
Et le prêtre les brûlera sur l’autel pour l’entretien du feu et de l’oblation du Seigneur.
12 “‘If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before Yahweh.
Si son oblation est une chèvre, et qu’il l’offre au Seigneur,
13 He shall lay his hand on its head, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.
Il mettra sa main sur sa tête, et l’immolera à l’entrée du tabernacle de témoignage. Et les fils d’Aaron en répandront le sang autour de l’autel;
14 He shall offer from it as his offering, an offering made by fire to Yahweh; the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards,
Et ils en prendront pour l’entretien du feu du Seigneur, la graisse qui couvre le ventre, et qui est sur toutes les entrailles,
15 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.
Les deux reins avec la membrane réticulaire, qui est sur eux près des flancs, et le gras du foie avec les reins;
16 The priest shall burn them on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire, for a pleasant aroma; all the fat is Yahweh’s.
Et le prêtre les brûlera sur l’autel pour l’entretien du feu et d’une très suave odeur. Toute graisse appartiendra au Seigneur.
17 “‘It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings, that you shall eat neither fat nor blood.’”
Par un droit perpétuel dans vos générations et toutes vos demeures: et vous ne mangerez jamais ni sang ni graisse.
