< Job 42 >

1 Then Job answered Yahweh:
Pamenepo Yobu anayankha Yehova kuti,
2 “I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be restrained.
“Ndikudziwa kuti Inu mungathe kuchita zinthu zonse; chimene mufuna kuchita wina sangaletse konse.
3 You asked, ‘Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?’ therefore I have uttered that which I didn’t understand, things too wonderful for me, which I didn’t know.
Munandifunsa kuti, ‘Kodi ndiwe yani amene ukufuna kusokoneza uphungu wanga ndi mawu opanda nzeru? Zoonadi ndinayankhula zimene sindinazimvetse, zinthu zodabwitsa kwambiri kwa ine zimene sindinazidziwe.
4 You said, ‘Listen, now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you will answer me.’
“Inu munandiwuza kuti, ‘Mvetsetsa tsopano ndipo ndidzayankhula; ndidzakufunsa ndipo iwe udzandiyankhe.’
5 I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you.
Ndinkangomva za Inu ndi makutu anga, koma tsopanonso ndakuonani ndi maso anga.
6 Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”
Nʼchifukwa chake ndi kuchita manyazi, ndikulapa podzithira fumbi ndi phulusa.”
7 It was so, that after Yahweh had spoken these words to Job, Yahweh said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you, and against your two friends; for you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.
Yehova atayankhula ndi Yobu mawu amenewa anawuza Elifazi wa ku Temani kuti, “Ine ndakukwiyira pamodzi ndi abwenzi ako awiri, chifukwa simunayankhule zabwino za Ine, monga mmene wayankhulira mtumiki wanga Yobu.
8 Now therefore, take to yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept him, that I not deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.”
Kotero tsopano mutenge ngʼombe zazimuna zisanu ndi ziwiri ndi nkhosa zazimuna zisanu ndi ziwiri ndi kupita nazo kwa mtumiki wanga Yobu kuti mukapereke nsembe zopsereza. Mtumiki wanga Yobu adzakupemphererani, ndipo Ine ndidzalandira pemphero lake. Sindidzakuchitirani kanthu molingana ndi uchitsiru wanu. Inu simunayankhule zabwino za Ine, monga anayankhulira Yobu mtumiki wanga.”
9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did what Yahweh commanded them, and Yahweh accepted Job.
Motero Elifazi wa ku Temani, Bilidadi wa ku Suki ndi Zofari wa ku Naama anachita zimene Yehova anawawuza ndipo Yehova anamvera pemphero la Yobu.
10 Yahweh restored Job’s prosperity when he prayed for his friends. Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Yobu atawapempherera abwenzi ake aja, Yehova anamubwezera chuma chake ndipo anamupatsa mowirikiza kuposa zomwe anali nazo kale.
11 Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been of his acquaintance before, came to him and ate bread with him in his house. They comforted him, and consoled him concerning all the evil that Yahweh had brought on him. Everyone also gave him a piece of money, and everyone a ring of gold.
Abale ake ndi alongo ake onse, kuphatikizapo onse amene ankamudziwa kale, amabwera kwa iye nʼkudzadya naye chakudya mʼnyumba mwake. Iwo anamutonthoza ndi kumupepesa chifukwa cha mavuto onse amene Yehova analola kuti amugwere. Aliyense wa iwowa anamupatsa ndalama ndi mphete yagolide.
12 So Yahweh blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand female donkeys.
Yehova anadalitsa Yobu pa masiku ake otsirizawa kupambana poyamba paja. Iye anali ndi nkhosa 14,000, ngamira 6,000, ngʼombe zantchito 2,000 ndi abulu aakazi 1,000.
13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.
Anaberekanso ana aamuna asanu ndi awiri ndi ana aakazi atatu.
14 He called the name of the first, Jemimah; and the name of the second, Keziah; and the name of the third, Keren Happuch.
Mwana wake wamkazi woyamba anamutcha Yemima, wachiwiri anamutcha Keziya, wachitatu anamutcha Kereni Hapuki.
15 In all the land were no women found so beautiful as the daughters of Job. Their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers.
Mʼdziko monsemo munalibe akazi okongola ngati ana a Yobu, ndipo abambo awo anawapatsa cholowa pamodzi ndi alongo awo.
16 After this Job lived one hundred forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, to four generations.
Zitachitika zimenezi, Yobu anakhala ndi moyo zaka 140. Iye anaona zidzukulu zake mpaka mʼbado wachinayi.
17 So Job died, being old and full of days.
Potsiriza, Yobu anamwalira ali nkhalamba ya zaka zochuluka kwambiri.
