< Job 35 >
1 Moreover Elihu answered,
Na Elihu el sifilpa fahk:
2 “Do you think this to be your right, or do you say, ‘My righteousness is more than God’s,’
“Ku kom nunku mu ma se inge suwohs Ke kom fahk mu, ‘Nga suwohs ye mutun God.’
3 that you ask, ‘What advantage will it be to you? What profit will I have, more than if I had sinned?’
Ku ke kom siyuk sin God, ‘Nga fin tia oru ma koluk, mea ac wo nu sik?’
4 I will answer you, and your companions with you.
Nga ac topuk kom, ac mwet kawuk lom ingan pac.
5 Look to the skies, and see. See the skies, which are higher than you.
“Ngetak liye acn lucng! Liye fulatiyen pukunyeng uh!
6 If you have sinned, what effect do you have against him? If your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to him?
Kom fin orekma koluk, God El tiana akkolukyeyuk kac. Kom fin oru ma koluk pacl pus, ya ma inge ac aklokoalokyal?
7 If you are righteous, what do you give him? Or what does he receive from your hand?
Ya kom kasru God kom fin arulana orek suwohs? Wangin ma God El enenu sum.
8 Your wickedness may hurt a man as you are, and your righteousness may profit a son of man.
Mwet uh pa ac keok ke ma koluk kom oru uh, Ac ma wo kom oru uh ac kasru pac mwet.
9 “By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry out. They cry for help by reason of the arm of the mighty.
“Ke akkeokyeyuk mwet uh, elos ac sasao; Ac elos pang tuh in oasr mwet kasrelos.
10 But no one says, ‘Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,
Tuh elos tia ngetang nu sin God su oralosla, Su sang soko on in finsrak nu selos ke pacl upa nu selos.
11 who teaches us more than the animals of the earth, and makes us wiser than the birds of the sky?’
Elos tia nget nu sin God su ase etauk nu sesr, Etauk liki kutena kosro, ku won.
12 There they cry, but no one answers, because of the pride of evil men.
Elos pang in suk kasru, tuh God El tiana topkolos, Mweyen elos mwet koluk ac inse fulat.
13 Surely God will not hear an empty cry, neither will the Almighty regard it.
Wangin sripen pang lalos uh; God Kulana El tiana liyalos, ku lohng pusralos.
14 How much less when you say you don’t see him. The cause is before him, and you wait for him!
“Job, kom fahk mu kom tia ku in liye God; Tusruktu, kom in mongfisrasr ac tupan. Top lal nu sum uh oasr yorol.
15 But now, because he has not visited in his anger, neither does he greatly regard arrogance,
In nunak lom kom mu God El ac tiana kalyei mwet, Ac kom mu El tia arulana lohang nu ke ma koluk uh.
16 therefore Job opens his mouth with empty talk, and he multiplies words without knowledge.”
Wangin sripa kom in nuna kaskas na; Kalem tari lah kom tia etu ma kom fahk an.”
