Jeremiah 6
1 “Flee for safety, you children of Benjamin, out of the middle of Jerusalem! Blow the trumpet in Tekoa and raise up a signal on Beth Haccherem, for evil looks out from the north with a great destruction.
Скупите се из Јерусалима, синови Венијаминови, и у Текуји затрубите у трубу, и подигните знак огњен над Вет-Акеремом, јер се види зло од севера и велика погибао.
2 I will cut off the beautiful and delicate one, the daughter of Zion.
Учиних кћер сионску да је као лепа и нежна девојка.
3 Shepherds with their flocks will come to her. They will pitch their tents against her all around. They will feed everyone in his place.”
К њој ће доћи пастири са стадима својим, разапеће око ње шаторе, сваки ће опасти своје место.
4 “Prepare war against her! Arise! Let’s go up at noon. Woe to us! For the day declines, for the shadows of the evening are stretched out.
Спремите рат на њу, устаните да ударимо у подне. Тешко нама, јер дан наже, и сенке вечерње одуљаше.
5 Arise! Let’s go up by night, and let’s destroy her palaces.”
Устаните да ударимо обноћ и развалимо дворове њене.
6 For Yahweh of Armies said, “Cut down trees, and cast up a mound against Jerusalem. This is the city to be visited. She is filled with oppression within herself.
Јер овако говори Господ над војскама: Сеците дрва, и начините опкопе према Јерусалиму; то је град који треба походити; колики је год, насиље је у њему.
7 As a well produces its waters, so she produces her wickedness. Violence and destruction is heard in her. Sickness and wounds are continually before me.
Као што извор точи воду своју, тако он точи злоћу своју; насиље и отимање чује се у њему, преда мном су једнако болови и ране.
8 Be instructed, Jerusalem, lest my soul be alienated from you, lest I make you a desolation, an uninhabited land.”
Поправи се, Јерусалиме, да се не отргне душа моја од тебе, да те не обратим у пустињу, у земљу где се не живи.
9 Yahweh of Armies says, “They will thoroughly glean the remnant of Israel like a vine. Turn again your hand as a grape gatherer into the baskets.”
Овако говори Господ над војскама: Остатак ће се Израиљев пабирчити као винова лоза. Турај руку своју као берач у котарице.
10 To whom should I speak and testify, that they may hear? Behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they can’t listen. Behold, Yahweh’s word has become a reproach to them. They have no delight in it.
Коме ћу говорити и сведочити да чују? Гле, ухо им је необрезано, те не могу чути; гле, реч је Господња њима подсмех, није им мила.
11 Therefore I am full of Yahweh’s wrath. I am weary with holding it in. “Pour it out on the children in the street, and on the assembly of young men together; for even the husband with the wife will be taken, the aged with him who is full of days.
За то сам пун гнева Господњег; изнемогох устежући га; просућу га на децу по улицама и на сабране младиће, и човек и жена ухватиће се, и стари и временити.
12 Their houses will be turned to others, their fields and their wives together; for I will stretch out my hand on the inhabitants of the land, says Yahweh.”
И куће ће њихове припасти другима, и њиве и жене, кад махнем руком својом на становнике ове земље, вели Господ.
13 “For from their least even to their greatest, everyone is given to covetousness. From the prophet even to the priest, everyone deals falsely.
Јер од малог до великог сви се дадоше на лакомство, и пророк и свештеник, сви су варалице.
14 They have healed also the hurt of my people superficially, saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ when there is no peace.
И лече ране кћери народа мог овлаш, говорећи: Мир, мир; а мира нема.
15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush. Therefore they will fall among those who fall. When I visit them, they will be cast down,” says Yahweh.
Еда ли се постидеше што чинише гад? Нити се постидеше нити знају за стид; за то ће попадати међу онима који падају; кад их походим, попадаће, вели Господ.
16 Yahweh says, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, ‘Where is the good way?’ and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
Господ рече овако: Станите на путевима и погледајте, и питајте за старе стазе, који је пут добар, па идите по њему, и наћи ћете мир души својој. А они рекоше: Нећемо да идемо.
17 I set watchmen over you, saying, ‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But they said, ‘We will not listen!’
И поставих вам стражаре говорећи: Пазите на глас трубни. А они рекоше: Нећемо да пазимо.
18 Therefore hear, you nations, and know, congregation, what is among them.
Зато чујте, народи, и познај, зборе, шта је међу њима.
19 Hear, earth! Behold, I will bring evil on this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not listened to my words; and as for my law, they have rejected it.
Чуј, земљо! Ево ја ћу пустити зло на овај народ, плод мисли њихових, јер не пазе на моје речи, и одбацише закон мој.
20 To what purpose does frankincense from Sheba come to me, and the sweet cane from a far country? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable, and your sacrifices are not pleasing to me.”
Шта ће ми тамјан, што долази из Саве, и добри цимет из далеке земље? Жртве ваше паљенице нису ми угодне, нити су ми приноси ваши мили.
21 Therefore Yahweh says, “Behold, I will lay stumbling blocks before this people. The fathers and the sons together will stumble against them. The neighbor and his friend will perish.”
Зато овако говори Господ: Ево ја ћу метнути овом народу сметње, о које ће се спотаћи и очеви и синови, сусед и пријатељ му, и погинуће.
22 Yahweh says, “Behold, a people comes from the north country. A great nation will be stirred up from the uttermost parts of the earth.
Овако говори Господ: Ево народ ће доћи из земље северне, и велик ће народ устати од крајева земаљских.
23 They take hold of bow and spear. They are cruel, and have no mercy. Their voice roars like the sea, and they ride on horses, everyone set in array, as a man to the battle, against you, daughter of Zion.”
Лук и копље носиће, жестоки ће бити и немилостиви, глас ће им бучати као море, и јахаће на коњима, спремни као јунаци да се бију с тобом, кћери сионска.
24 We have heard its report. Our hands become feeble. Anguish has taken hold of us, and pains as of a woman in labor.
Кад чујемо глас о њему, клонуће нам руке, туга ће нас спопасти и болови као породиљу.
25 Don’t go out into the field or walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and terror are on every side.
Не излазите у поље, и путем не идите, јер је мач непријатељев и страх унаоколо.
26 Daughter of my people, clothe yourself with sackcloth, and wallow in ashes! Mourn, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation, for the destroyer will suddenly come on us.
Кћери народа мог, припаши кострет и ваљај се у пепелу, жали као за сином јединцем и ридај горко, јер ће брзо доћи на нас затирач.
27 “I have made you a tester of metals and a fortress among my people, that you may know and try their way.
Поставих те да си стражара и град народу мом да дознајеш и извиђаш пут њихов.
28 They are all grievous rebels, going around to slander. They are bronze and iron. All of them deal corruptly.
Сви су одметници над одметницима, иду те опадају, бронза су и гвожђе, сви су покварени.
29 The bellows blow fiercely. The lead is consumed in the fire. In vain they go on refining, for the wicked are not plucked away.
Изгореше мехови, огањ сажеже олово, узалуд се претапа, јер се зла не могу одлучити.
30 Men will call them rejected silver, because Yahweh has rejected them.”
Они ће се звати сребро лажно, јер их Господ одбаци.
