Hebrews 13
1 Let brotherly love continue.
Permaneça o amor fraternal.
2 Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers, for in doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it.
Não vos esqueçais de mostrar hospitalidade, porque através dela alguns, sem saber, acolheram anjos.
3 Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body.
Lembrai-vos dos prisoneiros, como se estivésseis presos com eles; e dos que são maltratados, como se vós mesmos também estivessem sendo em [vossos] corpos.
4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
O matrimônio seja honrado entre todos, e o leito conjugal sem contaminação; pois Deus julgará os pecadores sexuais e os adúlteros.
5 Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”
A [vossa] maneira de viver seja sem ganância, contentando-vos com as coisas que tendes. Pois ele disse: Não te deixarei, nem te desampararei.
6 So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
De maneira que devemos ter a confiança de dizer: O Senhor é meu ajudador; não temerei o que o ser humano poderá fazer a mim.
7 Remember your leaders, men who spoke to you the word of God, and considering the results of their conduct, imitate their faith.
Lembrai-vos de vossos líderes, que vos falaram a palavra de Deus. Observai o resultado da maneira como viveram, e imitai a fé deles.
Jesus Cristo é o mesmo ontem, hoje, e eternamente. (aiōn g165)
9 Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by foods, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.
Não vos deixeis levar por doutrinas várias e estranhas. Pois bom ao coração é ser fortificado pela graça, e não por alimentos, que não resultaram em proveito algum aos que com eles se ocupam.
10 We have an altar from which those who serve the holy tabernacle have no right to eat.
Temos um altar, do qual os que servem no tabernáculo não têm autoridade para comer;
11 For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the holy place by the high priest as an offering for sin, are burned outside of the camp.
porque os corpos dos animais, cujo sangue pelo pecado é trazido ao Santuário pelo Sumo sacerdote, são queimados fora do acampamento.
12 Therefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered outside of the gate.
Por isso também Jesus, para santificar o povo pelo seu próprio sangue, sofreu fora do portão da cidade.
13 Let’s therefore go out to him outside of the camp, bearing his reproach.
Assim, saiamos até ele, fora do acampamento, carregando a sua humilhação.
14 For we don’t have here an enduring city, but we seek that which is to come.
Pois não temos aqui cidade permanente, mas buscamos a futura.
15 Through him, then, let’s offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name.
Portanto, por meio dele, ofereçamos continuamente sacrifício de louvor a Deus, isto é, o fruto dos lábios que declaram honra ao seu nome.
16 But don’t forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
E não vos esqueçais de fazer o bem e de compartilhar, pois Deus se agrada com tais sacrifícios.
17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch on behalf of your souls, as those who will give account, that they may do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be unprofitable for you.
Obedecei aos vossos líderes, e sede submissos [a eles], pois eles vigiam pelas vossas almas, como os que prestarão contas [delas]; para que o façam com alegria, e não gemendo, porque isso não vos seria proveitoso.
18 Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to live honorably in all things.
Orai por nós; porque estamos convencidos de que temos boa consciência, e desejamos nos comportar da maneira correta em tudo.
19 I strongly urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you sooner.
E eu vos rogo ainda mais que façais isto, para que eu vos seja restituído mais depressa.
20 Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus, (aiōnios g166)
O Deus da paz, que, pelo sangue do eterno Testamento eterno, voltou a trazer dentre os mortos o grande Pastor das ovelhas, o nosso Senhor Jesus, (aiōnios g166)
21 make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
vos aperfeiçoe em todo bem, para fazerdes a sua vontade, operando em nós o que é agradável diante dele, por meio de Jesus Cristo, a quem seja a glória para todo o sempre. Amém! (aiōn g165)
22 But I exhort you, brothers, endure the word of exhortation, for I have written to you in few words.
Eu vos rogo, porém, irmãos, que suportai esta palavra de exortação; pois eu vos escrevi de maneira breve.
23 Know that our brother Timothy has been freed, with whom, if he comes shortly, I will see you.
Sabei que o nosso irmão Timóteo já está solto. Se ele vier depressa, com ele eu vos verei.
24 Greet all of your leaders and all the saints. The Italians greet you.
Saudai a todos os vossos líderes, e a todos os santos. Os da Itália vos saúdam.
25 Grace be with you all. Amen.
