Galatians 6
1 Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.
Meus irmãos e minhas irmãs, se alguém for desencaminhado pelo pecado, vocês, que são espirituais, devem ajudar, com gentileza, essa pessoa a encontrar o bom caminho. Cuidado para não serem tentados também.
2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Ajudem-se, ao levarem as cargas uns dos outros, pois, assim, vocês cumprirão a lei de Cristo.
3 For if a man thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
Aqueles que acham que são realmente importantes, quando na verdade não são, apenas se enganam.
4 But let each man examine his own work, and then he will have reason to boast in himself, and not in someone else.
Examinem cuidadosamente suas ações. Para que, então, possam se sentir satisfeitos com vocês mesmos, sem se compararem aos outros.
5 For each man will bear his own burden.
Nós precisamos ter responsabilidade por nós mesmos.
6 But let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches.
Aqueles que aprendem a Palavra devem tratar bem os seus mestres, compartilhando com eles todas as coisas boas.
7 Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
Não se enganem: Deus não pode ser tratado com desrespeito, pois o que uma pessoa plantar é isso mesmo o que ela irá colher.
8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Se plantar de acordo com a natureza humana pecadora irá colher, dessa natureza, a morte. Mas, se plantar de acordo com o Espírito, do Espírito irá colher a vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
9 Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.
Nunca se cansem de fazer o bem, pois, se não desistirmos, faremos a colheita no momento certo.
10 So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
Então, enquanto ainda temos tempo, vamos fazer boas ações para todos, especialmente para aqueles que pertencem à família da fé.
11 See with what large letters I write to you with my own hand.
Observem com que letras grandes escrevi a vocês com minhas próprias mãos!
12 As many as desire to make a good impression in the flesh compel you to be circumcised, just so they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
Aquelas pessoas, que só querem causar uma boa impressão, estão forçando-os a serem circuncidados. Elas fazem isso apenas para não serem perseguidas por causa da cruz de Cristo.
13 For even they who receive circumcision don’t keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, so that they may boast in your flesh.
Mesmo aqueles que são circuncidados não cumprem a lei, mas querem que vocês sejam circuncidados, para que possam se orgulhar de vocês e para afirmarem que vocês são seguidores deles.
14 But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Que eu nunca me vanglorie, a não ser na cruz do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo. Por meio dessa cruz, o mundo foi crucificado para mim, e eu estou crucificado para o mundo.
15 For in Christ Jesus neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.
Não interessa ser circuncidado ou não; o que realmente importa é ser uma nova pessoa!
16 As many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God’s Israel.
Paz e misericórdia a todos os que seguem esse princípio e para o Israel de Deus!
17 From now on, let no one cause me any trouble, for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus branded on my body.
Por favor, não me incomodem mais, porque eu carrego em meu próprio corpo as cicatrizes de Jesus.
18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
Meus irmãos e minhas irmãs, que a graça do nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo seja com todos vocês! Amém!
