Ezekiel 43
1 Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looks toward the east.
Então ele me levou-me à porta; a porta que está voltada para oriente;
2 Behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth was illuminated with his glory.
E eis que a glória do Deus de Israel vinha desde o caminho do oriente; e seu som era como o som de muitas águas, e a terra resplandeceu por causa de sua glória.
3 It was like the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face.
E a aparência da visão que vi era como a visão que eu tinha visto quando vim para destruir a cidade; e as visões eram como a visão que vi junto ao rio de Quebar; e caí sobre meu rosto.
4 Yahweh’s glory came into the house by the way of the gate which faces toward the east.
E a glória do SENHOR entrou no templo [pelo] caminho da porta que estava voltada para o oriente.
5 The Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, Yahweh’s glory filled the house.
Então o Espírito me ergueu, e me levou ao pátio interno; e eis que a glória do SENHOR encheu o templo.
6 I heard one speaking to me out of the house, and a man stood by me.
E ouvi um que falava comigo desde o templo; e um homem estava em pé junto a mim.
7 He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell among the children of Israel forever. The house of Israel will no more defile my holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their prostitution and by the dead bodies of their kings in their high places;
E disse-me: Filho do homem, este é o lugar de meu trono, e o lugar das plantas de meus pés, onde habitarei no meio dos filhos de Israel para sempre; e a nação de Israel nunca mais contaminará meu santo nome, [nem] eles, nem seus reis, com suas prostituições, e com seus cadáveres de seus reis em seus altos.
8 in their setting of their threshold by my threshold and their door post beside my door post. There was a wall between me and them; and they have defiled my holy name by their abominations which they have committed. Therefore I have consumed them in my anger.
Quando colocavam o umbral deles junto a meu umbral, e o batente deles junto a meu batente, e era uma parede entre mim e eles; e contaminaram meu santo nome com suas abominações que fizeram; por isso eu os consumi em minha ira.
9 Now let them put away their prostitution, and the dead bodies of their kings far from me. Then I will dwell among them forever.
Agora lançaram longe de mim sua prostituição e os cadáveres de seus reis; e habitarei no meio deles para sempre.
10 “You, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern.
Tu, filho do homem, mostra à nação de Israel este templo, para que se envergonhem de suas maldades, e tenham a medida do modelo [do templo].
11 If they are ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the form of the house, its fashion, its exits, its entrances, its structure, all its ordinances, all its forms, and all its laws; and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form of it, and all its ordinances, and do them.
E se eles se envergonharem de tudo quanto fizeram, faze-lhes saber a forma da casa, e seu modelo, e suas saídas e suas entradas, e todas as suas formas, e todas os seus estatutos, e todas as suas formas, e todas as suas leis; e escreve diante de seus olhos, para que guardem toda a sua forma e todos os seus estatutos, e os façam.
12 “This is the law of the house. On the top of the mountain the whole limit around it shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.
Esta é a lei do templo: sobre o cume do monte, todo o seu contorno em redor será santíssimo. Eis que esta é a lei do templo.
13 “These are the measurements of the altar by cubits (the cubit is a cubit and a hand width): the bottom shall be a cubit, and the width a cubit, and its border around its edge a span; and this shall be the base of the altar.
E estas são as medidas do altar em côvados (o côvado de um côvado e um palmo). A base, de um côvado [de altura] e de um côvado de largura; e o contorno de sua borda ao redor, de um palmo. Este será o fundamento do altar.
14 From the bottom on the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the width one cubit; and from the lesser ledge to the greater ledge shall be four cubits, and the width a cubit.
E desde a base [de sobre] o chão até a aresta inferior, dois côvados, e a largura de um côvado; e desde a aresta menor até a aresta maior, quatro côvados, e a largura de um côvado.
15 The upper altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar hearth and upward there shall be four horns.
E a fornalha do altar, de quatro côvados, e da fornalha do altar para cima havia quatro pontas.
16 The altar hearth shall be twelve cubits long by twelve wide, square in its four sides.
E o altar tinha doze [côvados] de comprimento e doze de largura, quadrado em seus quatro lados.
17 The ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen wide in its four sides; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and its bottom shall be a cubit around; and its steps shall look toward the east.”
E a aresta, de catorze [côvados] de comprimento e catorze de largura em seus quatro lados; e o contorno ao redor dela era de meio côvado, e a base dela de um côvado em redor; e seus degraus estavam voltados para o oriente.
18 He said to me, “Son of man, the Lord Yahweh says: ‘These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they make it, to offer burnt offerings on it, and to sprinkle blood on it.
E ele me disse-me: Filho do homem, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Estes são os estatutos do altar, no dia em que ele for feito, para sobre ele oferecer holocausto, e para espargir sangue sobre ele.
19 You shall give to the Levitical priests who are of the offspring of Zadok, who are near to me, to minister to me,’ says the Lord Yahweh, ‘a young bull for a sin offering.
E aos sacerdotes Levitas que são da descendência de Zadoque, que se achegam a mim, diz o Senhor DEUS, para me servirem, tu darás um bezerro, filho de vaca, para expiação pelo pecado.
20 You shall take of its blood and put it on its four horns, and on the four corners of the ledge, and on the border all around. You shall cleanse it and make atonement for it that way.
E tomarás de seu sangue, e porás nas pontas [do altar], e nas quatro esquinas da aresta, e no contorno ao redor; assim o limparás e o expiarás.
21 You shall also take the bull of the sin offering, and it shall be burned in the appointed place of the house, outside of the sanctuary.
Então tomarás o bezerro da expiação pelo pecado, e o queimarão no lugar [específico] do templo, fora do santuário.
22 “On the second day you shall offer a male goat without defect for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bull.
E no segundo dia oferecerás um bode macho sem defeito, para expiação pelo pecado; e purificarão o altar como o purificaram com o bezerro.
23 When you have finished cleansing it, you shall offer a young bull without defect and a ram out of the flock without defect.
Quando tu acabares de expiar, oferecerás um bezerro sem defeito, filhote de vaca, e um carneiro sem defeito do rebanho;
24 You shall bring them near to Yahweh, and the priests shall cast salt on them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering to Yahweh.
E tu os oferecerás diante do SENHOR; e os sacerdotes lançarão sal sobre eles, e os oferecerão como holocausto ao SENHOR.
25 “Seven days you shall prepare every day a goat for a sin offering. They shall also prepare a young bull and a ram out of the flock, without defect.
Por sete dias prepararás um bode macho em cada dia de purificação; também prepararão um bezerro filhote de vaca, e um carneiro do rebanho, [todos] sem defeito.
26 Seven days shall they make atonement for the altar and purify it. So shall they consecrate it.
Por sete dias expiarão o altar, e [o] purificarão; e eles o consagrarão.
27 When they have accomplished the days, it shall be that on the eighth day and onward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings on the altar and your peace offerings. Then I will accept you,’ says the Lord Yahweh.”
E quando eles acabarem estes dias será ao oitavo dia; e dali em adiante, os sacerdotes prepararão sobre o altar vossos sacrifícios de queima e vossas ofertas de gratidão; e eu vos aceitarei, diz o Senhor DEUS.
